YMMV / Aitor Molina Vs.

Go To

  • Acceptable Targets:
    • Content creators with plenty of resources who don't make good content.
    • Elrubius and Darkar.
  • Accidental Innuendo: There is a little montage about that in 50 Shades of Gaston.
  • Author's Saving Throw:
    • The show itself was made instead of the animated film Bidaia for how shlocky it was being made.
    • Aitor Molina already reviewed Fantasia before starting his show and he admited being one of his worst videos ever for how many wrong information he gave. It was released a full year after The Dreamscape Kingdom should have, this is his first completely animated project since then.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment:
    • The cani scene from Bleach, "dogs in planes" and the Mushroom Samba.
    • Most of Reddy's cameos, specially in The Fantasia Revenge just to mimic Mickey Mouse comes out of nowhere and is never mentioned again.
    • Subverted with Keygen because explains why Ganchito doesn't appear in the climax.
  • Bizarro Episode:
  • Breakout Character: Rakzol in The Fantasia Revenge totally stole the show.
    • Detective Enigma debuted in the same special before receiving his own show. Same for Hales the following year.
  • Broken Base:
    • Not really from AMVs itself, but Top 10 Animes that they recommend me to see the most counts as one. Fans of the animes that Aitor mentioned on the video were offended as he talked about why he didn't want to see some of them like Sword Art Online, especially as the video was about animes he had never seen and based his descriptions on what their fans told him about them. The overwhealming negative reception from the fanboys lead Aitor to disable the comments and then change the title's name to "Animes that people recommended me but their fanboys ruined my chance of watching them with their comments". However, Aitor's regular audience understood the purpose of the video and enjoyed it for what it was.
    • Advertisement:
    • People who prefer live-action human companions like Lugosi and animated ones like Ganchito.
    • Some fans just ask for mainstream content to review, others prefer the obscurest things.
  • Corpsing: A brief one in The Christmas Revenge when Doctor Pandemia says "Cheer up, it's Christmas!".
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: It has a page.*
  • Fandom Rivalry: Lawl of the Dead is kind of becoming the counter-Lawl X. Lemongrab was confirmed in Aitor's roster before Agito foreshadowed him and Peridot. Peridot then appeared in the Facebook exclusive empty slot, where people complaint that Agito would make it. Later, Peridot was made by Aitor as a petition by the 500th subscriber. Agito eventually made his own Peridot moveset using the same attacks with two changed. As a response, Aitor made Lemongrab's moveset without previous confirmation with the point that "if Aitor couldn't make Peridot because Agito teased her before, it wouldn't be wrong making Lemongrab since he was in the roster". Agito had the chance to redeem his Peridot moveset in her tilts from Zim's moveset. He used for 3/4 of the attacks the ones he didn't use from Aitor's version. The next character was confirmed to be Lemongrab.
  • It Was His Sled: Even if Rakzol's appearance at the end of The Fantasia Revenge was a surprise, everybody knows right now this was his debut.
  • Milestone Celebration: The anniversary specials.
  • Ron the Death Eater: Rakzol is way more violent and evil here than in his cartoon.
