This film provides examples of:

  • Art Shift: Zara's dream is dine with Plotagon, and the scenes in the WB tower are done in Comedy World.
  • Ax-Crazy: Annabelle, as well as Zoey's new girlfriend
  • Animated Shock Comedy: Plenty of shock humor and random violence, especially in the first half.
  • Berserk Button: Destiny flips after Sasha kicks Zara from the reality show, leading her to kill Sasha because she always wanted to "fuck a reality star"
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: During the beach party, a man briefly expresses his desire to impregnate a horse before it promptly gets stolen away from him.
  • Big Ball of Violence: Zara and Zoey's new girlfriend get into this after the former gets jealous.
  • Big Damn Movie: In addition to higher stakes, the movie shows parties and clubbing in a more expansive way than the series
  • Big Eater: Diesel and Mindy are this, although Mindy prefers people. Zara falls into this occasionally as well.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Sasha Banks, who has a nice façade but is obsessed with wealth and status to the point of starving children for a few extra bucks.
  • Black Comedy Cannibalism: Mindy, Little Bill's girlfriend, continues her habit of eating people with no rhyme or reason
  • Bloody Hilarious: Derek exploding into pieces after the witch orgy.
  • Call-Back: Kimberly references "Charity Drive" when Sasha openly mistreats a child while taking their picture.
  • Cluster F-Bomb: Almost every character indulges in this.
  • Cerebus Call-Back: Diesel and Kimberly selling off Zara to Sasha casually is initially played for laughs, but later on, Zara mentions that it seriously hurt her.
  • Cerebus Syndrome: The film's tone becomes a lot more dramatic after Zara's trip, but there are still comedic moments.
  • Darker and Edgier: Features stronger shock humor than the series, as well as more serious and emotional scenes.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Dewey, who subjects the contestants to kinky challenges when he takes over the reality show
  • Character Development: Zara becomes more considerate, thoughtful, and patient after a bad trip. In addition, Annabelle shows hints that she cares about the family under her nonchalant behavior.
  • Everybody Has Lots of Sex: Not as much as the first movie, but almost every character still falls into this.
  • Driven to Suicide: The pilot in the beginning of the film after he is busted for killing someone and being in the mafia, and Zara almost has this moment after her trip
  • Lighter and Softer: The movie still has graphic content, however has a more optimistic tone than the first one.
  • Romantic Comedy: The scenes with Erika and Dave at his beach house have shades of this.
  • Mockumentary: Sasha recording Zara around her nightclub is done in this manner.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Zara only dyes her hair blonde while being "on the run".
  • Rapid-Fire Comedy: The film before Zara's bad trip generally has jokes following after another.
  • Running Gag: The characters being offered cocaine in various places in LA.
    • Zara and Kimberly saying, "Let's run their pockets"
  • Satire: The film takes digs at social media/influencer culture, as well as putting one's wealth and image above family.
  • Stoners Are Funny: Diesel, Kimberly, and the fitness influencers get stoned while watching B-movies.
  • Surreal Humor: Some of Zara's visuals when she's high, such as multiple versions of her flying through Los Angeles.
  • Suicide as Comedy: Happens when the pilot hops off the plane and lands right in a kid's birthday cake.
