Work with Misaki and Motoko to help save the human race.
"The game looks relatively low-budget on the surface even given its genre, which is a mix of your typical Japanese Visual Novel and a simulation game, but it is actually more intriguing than one might suspect. In the typical Game Freak fashion, they've gone and made another unique game. If you know about their track record outside of Pokémon, GF typically made unusual games. Quinty (aka Mendel Palace), Pulseman, Mario & Wario, and Bushi Seiryuuden are just a few."
— The first section of Vysethedetermined2's description for the game.

In the then future of 2016, humanity started to get ill from various new viruses increasingly and they become crippled and ill until they reach the door of death. The only was to save mankind from dying is for the medical staff members Misaki Hayama and Motoko Nanao to use the newly constructed Virtual Body Machine and confront the viruses in order to exterminate them and save humanity.

  • 20 Minutes into the Future: The game is set in the then future of 2016 where a variety of viruses threaten mankind with death and the Virtual Body machine is built to fight this plague.
  • Alliterative Name: No other patients share the same english initial as both their first and last names aside from Saki Sakura.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Misaki Hayama has blue hair while Motoko Nanao has a short blue coat. Both are determined to save their patients.
  • Cast of Snowflakes: The patients and viruses have a variety of different faces and bodytypes.
  • Darker and Edgier: When compared to Pokémon, the game in spite of having a similar aesthetic holds a risk of humans dying thanks to a variety of newly introduced viruses that force Misaki and Motoko to use the Virtual Body Machine to confront the diseases and terminate them before their patients die from them.
  • Light Is Good: Misaki wears a white nurse outfit naturally, and will do anything to save her patients. Motoko wears a white shirt under her coat and is just as determined.
  • Reused Character Design: Koji Shimizu bears some resemblance to Gary/Blue, owing to Click Medic having the same developer as Pokémon.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: Design-wise, Misaki is the Girly Girl who has long untied hair and dresses in a skirt while Motoko is the tomboy who ties her hair into a ponytail and dons pants.
  • World of Technicolor Hair: Misaki Hayama has long blue hair that reaches past her back. The patients hold a variety of hair colors as well such as the cyan-haired Hikari Tatatsuki and the green-haired Saki Sakura.
  • Zeerust: The game is set in the then year of 2016, but in real life, no such pandemic effected the whole world and it was not until late 2019 that the COVID-19 Pandemic started to take the world by storm.
