A female Troper from that one country next to Argentina. Several years a user of TV Tropes, but rarely an actual contributor (and even then it was under a different name) until last year. Naming things is not my strongest point.
Can't really give a general description of my tastes because 1. they don't really have much of a pattern, 2. I like researching and both making and reading analysis of fictional works, but I suck at actually consuming media, so I end up knowing many works by name without actually seeing/reading/playing them (yes, this is embarrassing), and 3. I tend to forget everything about me when I have to talk about myself. Um...
I do like Death Note, Yu-Gi-Oh! (I vastly prefer the manga, though I do like the spinoffs I've seen - or at least parts of them, when it comes to GX), Hunter × Hunter, and Ashita no Joe, but that's far from the gist of it (and it's not only anime).
While it's not necessarily what I'm looking for in a story, I like themes associated with identity and the different layers a person can have, especially Beneath the Mask (though that might be too general a trope to list). I also like stories aimed (or seemingly aimed) at children that have darker and more mature themes underneath, especially when centering around growth, and having a good dose of Nightmare Fuel; one of the reasons I love The Legend Of Zelda Majoras Mask and Adventure Time (and the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga). Another thing I love in a work: atmosphere.
I also tend to get really wordy and slightly pretentious. You probably noticed that already.

- Ridiculous Procrastinator: I started taking part in the Trope Pantheons as a means to procrastinate with college stuff. When I ended up with too much college work to do, I started procrastinating with the profiles for the Pantheons. But I still procrastinate with my college work by lurking around TvTropes, so I procrastinate while I procrastinate by procrastinating on more procrastinating. Yo dawg.
- Ditzy Genius / Genius Ditz: See Brilliant, but Lazy for the "brilliant" part. Other than academic-wise, I'm very absent-minded, I get distracted easily, I have No Sense of Direction...
- No Social Skills: Not as bad as they once were, but I still really need to work on them.
- Self-Deprecation: It's fun. Often goes with some good ol' Lampshade Hanging.
