Trivia / The Flintstones: Stone Age SmackDown!

• Ability over Appearance: John O'Hurley uses an accent when voicing Mr. Slate, but nonetheless captures the spirit of the character.
• Acting for Two: Eric Bauza voices Bamm Bamm, Dino, and Hoppy.
• Advertised Extra: Daniel Bryan is on the DVD cover getting ready to square off with The Undertaker. In the film itself, he only appears in one scene and doesn't even wrestle. Osw Review theorized that CM Punk was originally supposed to be in Bryan's place on the cover seeing as how he's the movie's Big Bad, but was removed after he was fired from the WWE before the movie was released.
• Billing Displacement:
  • The DVD box would have you believe Daniel Bryan is a major character, or at least in involved in a fight. He's only in a single scene for a single gag. It's notable that CM Punk, the film's main antagonist, did not make the cover, possibly due to his falling out with the WWE.
  • Despite having a relatively important part, Rey Mysteriopal doesn't appear on the box anywhere either, most likely due to him having left WWE before the film came out.
• Milestone Celebration: This movie honors the 55th anniversary of the original series.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Even though he wouldn't die until a few months later, John Stephenson is replaced as Mr. Slate by John O'Hurley. Stephenson was suffering from Alzheimer's disease at the time, which most likely prevented him from reprising the role one last time.
  • Eric Bauza replaces Don Messick as Bamm Bamm and Hoppy. He also replaces Frank Welker (who in turn replaced Mel Blanc) as Dino.
• Role Reprise:
  • This actually isn't the first time Jeff Bergman, Tress MacNeille, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Grey Griffin have voiced the Flintstones and the Rubbles, as they previously took on the parts in The Flintstones: On The Rocks.
  • Russi Taylor also returns to voice Pebbles for the last time after previously voicing her in the 90s telefilms Hollyrock-a-Bye Baby and A Flintstones Christmas Carol. ^note  Technically her true final performance as Pebbles was the 2018 pilot to Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs
  • In the Hungarian version, the main cast kept their voices from the show's 2nd dub, and surprisingly, the wrestlers were dubbed by their respective voice actors from the short-lived Hungarian WWE Raw voiceover "dub".
