Restoring Spacenoid Pride For All, Newtypes and Oldtypes
The motto of the Second Fleet

Unlike Char's home fleet, the Second Fleet serves the purpose of safeguarding the Pantheon's gateway to the Universal Century, combatting the legitimacy of the GUAG Gundam Corps (or working with them) or the Black faction. A more recent adversary is the Grand United Alliance of Law, since Bask Om, Titan officer works for them as a military leader. Aiguille Delaz has made taking out the Titan forces in the GUAL a number one priority.

The fleet is headquartered in the Garden of Thorns, and its flagship is the Gwadan-class Gwaden II.

Officers and Pilots

    Anavel Gato
Anavel Gato, Patron Saint of Mecha Hijackers and Master of the Pre-Mortem One-Liner (The Nightmare of Solomon)

  • Demigod
  • Rank: OF-3 (Lieutenant Commander)
  • Symbol: The Delaz Fleet emblem, or alternatively the GP02A Physalis.
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Reason for Joining: Initially joined under Haman Karn when he first ascended to the Pantheon, but joined Gihren's side in the early days of the civil war between the two. While both him and Delaz were known for being devout Gihren loyalists, he eventually saw how twisted and depraved in his warmongering Gihren was, and both led an escape attempt with several other veterans (including Garma Zabi) from A Baoa Qu. He is one of Char's most capable (not loyal) subordinates today.
  • Loyalty to Char: Like with Delaz, Medium (formerly zilch). He's quite loyal to Char, but more so to the ideals of Zeonism (notwithstanding the fact that his idea thereof is way different from that of Char's late father). If Delaz mutinied against Char, Gato would join him in a heartbeat.
  • Threat Level: Very High. There's the fact that he has a nuke-equipped Gundam for starters, and the fact that he is an extremely charismatic leader with a patriotic fervour for Spacenoids to boot. Sure, the Physalis and Large Ham nature may have made him a laughing stock in the House of Military and Warfare, but that's purely subjective/Memetic Mutation. Even better, he has the patronage of Grand Admiral Thrawn himself.
  • Main Unit: RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis", AMX-002 Neue Ziel

    Lalah Sun
Lalah Sun, Patron Officer of Remotely-Operated Weapons (Lalah Sune, Lala Sun, Ghost of Solomon)

  • Lesser Non-Ascendent
  • Rank: OF-1B (Lieutenant Junior Grade), promoted from OF-1A (Ensign)
  • Symbol: Her mobile armor, the Elmeth
  • Alignment: True Neutral with Good and Evil leanings
  • Reason for Joining: Char had her resurrected via back channels so they could be together again, with her joining the GUAE Mecha Cohort on Char's side soon after. Char assigned her to the Second Fleet for two reasons. One, as a non-ascendant, she isn't allowed in the Pantheon as a herald and he saw what happened with Marida Cruz's ascension. Two, the Pantheon is a hellhole and (having seen other Newtype sacrificial girls like her from TV) doesn't want her at the centre of a Forever War, especially as she's possibly the only way to hurt the Red Comet.
  • Loyalty to Char: High. She may have grown out of her Hero-Worshipper phase, but she still holds Undying Loyalty to her long-time love. In correspondence, she is his Morality Pet, endeavouring for him to abandon his vendetta against Amuro and his agenda to turn all of humanity into Newtypes.
  • Threat Level: Medium to High. As a rule, she's kept away from heavy combat zones for her protection unless the situation gets extremely bad. When she does enter battle though, her talent with the psycommu system is unparalleled.
  • Main Unit: NZ-000 Queen Mansa, MAN-08 Elmeth (her Trauma Button back-up)
  • Has a special kinship with nearly every Gundam Phlebotinum Girl in existence, including Yurin L'Ciel and counterpart in the Gihren faction, Stella Loussier.
