Following her mission to protect the Gretchers from the enemy assassins as they escaped Ostania, and Loid disarmed the bombs, the Forgers meet up on the dock. After Yor tells Loid that despite their best efforts, they could not convince the Grays to invest in a civic project and the Director gave her the day off to have fun with her family. The Forgers then spend the days exploring the seaside town, going spelunking, and visiting a local farm, where Yor notes how peaceful it is. When Anya says she wants to go snorkeling, Yor is hesitant because the injury she got during her fight against the assassins could expose her dual life. When she sees a more modest swimsuit, they go snorkeling and surfing, but when Loid says it's time to head back to the Ship, Yor collapses from exhaustion, from fighting the assassins, and soon after Anya also collapses, and Loid carries them both back to the Lorelai. Back in Ostania, Sylvia debriefs Twilight and tells him that the attempted bombing/sinking of the cruise is being swept under the rug, though both WISE and the SSS have to keep their eyes and ears open to any extremists that want to restart the war. Back home, Bond welcomes Anya back with tears in his eye, and Loid tries to placate an irate Frankie by giving him some souvenirs.

Bragging about Vacation
Now that Yor is back, Yuri is ecstatic, but realizes that it also means that Loid is back as well. Meanwhile, back at school, the students tell their friends what they did during their break. When Anya tries to tell the others about her adventures, Damian and his lackeys make fun of her for going on the cruise in third class, and Becky upstages her by saying her father invited the cast of her favorite soap opera to a party he was hosting and got to meet her favorite actress. When Anya says that she helped take down some "bad guys," her classmates call her out because they didn't hear anything about that in the news. When Anya says that the reason no one heard news about what happened on the ship is because she helped fight off some sea monsters during the cruise, which just ends up making her look like an even bigger fool. Back home, when Anya talks about her rough day at school, she reads the minds of Loid, Yuri, and Yor, who say about how terrible liars are, while trying to justify their own lies. Anya deduces that lying is just too hard and promises not to lie anymore.

  • Breather Episode: After four episodes of Yor fighting a band of vicious assassinsnote  and Loid disarming some bombs, the Forgers finally get some much-needed rest, and we see their light-hearted interactions with their friends and coworkers when they get back home.
  • Bridal Carry: To Loid's embarrassment, he has to carry Yor like this after she passes out from exhaustion in the street.
  • Cut Himself Shaving: When the Forgers meet up on the dock, Loid notices that Yor's face has some swelling, and she says that she had to break up a fight between the "Greys" and got hit in the face. In reality she was injured during her fight with the enemy assassins.
  • Drives Like Crazy: Yor's strength kicks in the moment she, Loid and Anya take a ride on a tandem bike in the Good-Times Montage. With Yor speeding down the trail while the others look at her with horrified expressions as they hold on for their lives.
  • Fell Asleep Standing Up: Yor is so exhausted after the adventures of the past few days that she falls asleep on Loid's shoulder while they are walking back to the ship.
  • Good-Times Montage: The Forger Family have a pleasant day doing a variety of activities on the island resort. From cave exploring, horseback riding to visiting some local farm animals.
  • Half-Truth: Yor explains to Loid that she endured alot of hard work entertaining the couple but was able to send them off on a happy note.
  • Scenery Porn: The seaside resort town where the Lorelai docks looks gorgeous, as does the reef where the Forgers go snorkeling.
  • So Proud of You: Loid thinks to himself that Yor has done a wonderful job as Anya's mother while balancing her own job.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Discussed by Handler. After returning to Berlint, Twilight reveals that on what was supposed to be some time off, to project the image of a loving father as per Operation Strix, he tells Handler that not only did some unknown party (to WISE) tried to bomb a cruise liner full civilians that included VIPs', but he also spotted numerous suspicious acting passengers that mysteriously disappeared before the ship docked and right around the time the bombs were found. Handler says that the whole attempted bombing/sinking of the cruise is being covered up by the Ostanian government, and essentially says that WISE, clandestinely, has to help the SSS keep track and subdue any extremist militants that want to restart the war.
  • Three-Point Landing: Anya performs one early on after taking a big leap onto land while announcing "Resort time, go!"
  • Wasn't That Fun?: After Yor pushes Anya while surfing, causing the latter to skim the water at high speed, Loid rescues Anya, and she excitedly asks that they do it again.

Bragging about Vacation

  • As You Know: While putting up the lovey-dovey decorations in his room, Loid reminds himself (and the audience) that his brother-in-law is involved in the secret police who can jeopardize his very life if he isn't careful maintaining his fake marriage to Yor.
  • Call-Back:
    • Anya convinces her mom to buy skeleton keychains as souvenirs.
    • Much like in "A New Family Member," the true story of the events Anya witnessed was covered up by the Ostanian government, and trying to tell others about what happened makes them think she's a liar.
    • George warns Anya not to lie so much otherwise she'll become a pariah just like him.
  • Cassandra Truth: The attempted bombing incident aboard the Lorelai is covered up by the Ostanian government, resulting it in not being covered in the news, and thus making Anya look like a liar for saying she helped take out some "bad guys."
  • Digging Yourself Deeper: Anya was already getting a bad rep from the other kids due to her lying about meeting famous celebrities on the ship. But it gets embarrassingly worse when she resorts to lying about there being octopus people that she fought to protect the ship.
  • Downer Ending: Anya ends up a laughingstock for overexaggerating her cruise adventure to her peers. Her parents and uncle are of no help regarding her lying problem given their own habits and refusal to change their ways.
  • The Greatest Story Never Told: Due to the Ostanian government covering up the possibility that someone is trying to restart the war, no Ostanian besides Anya, Yor and Garden knows what really went down on the Lorelai.
  • Humiliation Conga: Everything involving Anya trying to tell her classmates about her cruise adventure. For starters, Becky already went on the same boat and thought it was okay, meaning it was not as special. Then she resorts to lying on how there were celebrities aboard the ship which catches everyone's attention. But then she blows it since she can't come up with any real celebrities while the class poke holes in her stories. She then resorts to telling everyone about fictional octopus people who attacked the cruise which turns her into a laughingstock. The nail on her coffin is that one of the classmates (not Damian and his coat riders for once) openly tells the teacher that Anya spent her vacation fighting octopus people as a last laugh.
  • Hypocrite: After Anya tells Loid, Yor, and Yuri of the rough day she's had because no one believed her, she reads the minds of the grown-ups where they say how horrible liars are, while justifying their own lies. Anya says that lying is too hard and promises not to lie anymore.
  • Imagine Spot:
    • Anya imagines Becky being amazed by her cruise adventure followed by Damian inviting her Holger family to come over to his house.
    • She gets another one of her revealing that she knows about Operation Strix to her dad.
  • Loners Are Freaks: After Anya gets made fun of at school, George warns her that she needs to stop lying or she'll end up an outcast like him.
  • My New Gift Is Lame: Yor's coworkers are all weirded out with the skeleton keychains they were gifted and make it clear that they were hoping for something cooler.
  • Penny Among Diamonds: While Anya is usually a victim of this when in Eden College, this is particularly visible in this story: having a cruise vacation is awesome for any kid except Anya's stinky-rich classmates.
  • Pet the Dog: As the other kids make fun and laugh at Anya for claiming that she helped fight off a gang of "octo people" that attacked the cruise ship, Damian doesn't say anything to her, and just tells Ewen and Emile that watching her tell her outlandish tales is entertaining, without laughing at her.
  • Stalker Shrine: Yuri's locker is flooded with photos of his sister. Some of which have very questionable angles.
