Despite Jeramie and Hymeno's efforts, Grodie launches a second Fury of the Gods to ravage the world. In turn, the kingdoms launch a full evacuation plan for the civilians so the team can handle Grodie on their own.

Can they end the reaper once and for all?

Tropes

  • The Atoner: With Racules now out and about, he's been trying to make it up to his former people about his past actions. This is especially emphasized when he encounters a crippled woman who refuses his help, as she lost her family to the first Fury of the Gods.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Grodie only wished to die. He got his wish and ends up in the afterlife, only to be tortured by the ghosts of his victims for eternity.
  • Call-Back:
    • Boggnarok holds a festival during a planetary crisis, much like the summer festival the rulers held during the deadly heat wave in #24.
    • In Boggnarok, two people are playing the same virtual fighting game Boone was back in #34.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Kaguragi's illegal subterranean tiller system "The Ant-Eater" comes in clutch this episode, quickly evacuating all of Tikyū's citizens to the kingdom of the Bognaarok just in time.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • Suji (the former boss of Shiokara and company) is seen as one of the prisoners attempting to escape Gokkan, who Rita commands to help in the evacuation of Tikyu's citizens.
    • The evacuation area at Bognaarok not only takes place where Dethnaarok used to plot with Kamejim, but is also a multicultural festival not unlike the one in #24.
  • Continuity Snarl: The Bognaarok were initially hinted to be evolved humans who discarded their humanity to fight against discrimination on their species, with Hymeno finding out that their DNA is remarkably close to a regular human's. This episode however reveals that they are aliens from yet another planet and are unrelated to the humans of Tikyū.
  • Crazy-Prepared: The six kingdoms initiate a full evacuation plan that was created in case another Fury of the Gods occurred.
  • Cue the Sun: The sun rises just after God King-Ohger defeats Grodie once and for all.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: The battle with Grodie is a quick one. He's powerless against God King-Ohger; not that he was trying especially hard given he wanted to die.
  • Dragged Off to Hell: After Grodie is killed, he wakes up in the afterlife where he's tormented by the voices and shades of his countless victims, denied the peace he'd so long sought.
  • Godzilla Threshold:
    • Given the seriousness of the situation, Racules is bequeathed once more with the OhgerCalibur ZERO.
    • The twin threat of Grodie and the Fury of the Gods he's kicked off necessitates the formation of God King-Ohger.
  • Gone Horribly Right: Subverted. Dagded explains that Gira being devolved into a Tyke Bomb like Grodie was the reason he was made in the first place. It also makes Corsus' rebellion more tragic in retrospect.
  • Good Feels Good: The Sanagim find out helping the citizens feel good.
  • Group Hug: Gira gathers everyone into one after their evacuation plan goes off without a hitch and Grodie is defeated once and for all.
  • History Repeats: Invoked, then Defied. Grodie ended the last episode by starting a second Fury Of the Gods. Here, Tikyu is in the hands of significantly better monarchs who are both united and more importantly prepared. The nations' unity is so strong that in the face of a cataclysm that claimed untold numbers before, nobody dies here.
  • Hope Spot: Rare one for a villain: Grodie wakes up in the afterlife, believing he finally got the peace he wanted. However, after a few moments, he begins to hear the voices of his victims...
  • Ironic Hell: Grodie wakes up in the afterlife, thinking he finally got the peace he wanted...only for the voices and shades of his victims to appear and begin tormenting him, denying him that peace.
  • It Only Works Once: Since the team was already aware of Grodie's existence and him being the culprit behind the Fury of the Gods in the past, they already had a plan to counteract him causing a second one with Grodie only succeeding in destroying possessions and crops, but no casualties.
  • Killed Off for Real: Grodie finally meets his end at the hands of a seven-man piloted God King-Ohger.
  • Let No Crisis Go to Waste: Heroic examples, both.
    • Boggnarok is chosen as a temporary shelter for the people during the crisis. Jeramie decides to use this as a chance to hold a miniature festival to salvage relations.
    • Suji and his accomplices have attempted more than a hundred escape attempts from Gokkan's prisons; having memorized the prison's subterranean tunnel-routes. Rita allows it to happen again on the condition that the group escorts evacuees to Boggnarok. The group accepts.
  • Medium Awareness: Upon arriving in Boggnarok, Boone remarks that it's "dusty like a secret base," referencing the heroes' tendency to hide here since the Time Skip.
  • No One Gets Left Behind: The evacuation plan aims to evacuate Tikyu's population to the underground realm of the Bognaarok to protect them from the Fury of the Gods. It succeeds as planned.
  • Pet the Dog: Downplayed. Racules is included in the post-team victory huddle, albeit at Gira's insistence.
  • Plot Tailored to the Party: The evacuation plan executed by the monarchs makes use of the strengths of each of the six kingdoms perfectly.
    • Shugoddam's strength and military might is leveraged to help the people evacuate to the meetup points.
    • N'Kosopa's technology is used as communications to coordinate the various kingdoms during the evacuation, as well as calculate the trajectory of the Fury of the Gods.
    • Ishabana's medical care allows them to take care of anyone injured during the evacuation.
    • Toufu's food supplies come in crucial to help feed the people, planning for the likelihood of a prolonged siege.
    • Gokkan's fugitive prisoners are given a chance to redeem themselves by helping the evacuees around the escape tunnels leading to the evacuation area.
    • Bognaarok's underground location makes it the perfect place to hide away the people during the evacuation.
  • Repeated for Emphasis: Played for Laughs. While calculating how long the current Fury of the Gods would take to cover the planet, Shiokara says every single 3 in the decimal he came up with, blaring them throughout Yanma's orders. He's promptly chewed out.
  • Retcon: Earlier in the season, the Buganarak were stated to be humans who mutated into Insectoid beings through a diet of Shugod souls and living underground. Here, they’re stated to be aliens who were forced to migrate to Chikyu after their home planet was destroyed by Grodie.
  • The Reveal: "The Ant-Eater" is revealed to be a system of nails that can create giant holes within the ground in just a blink of an eye, which makes it perfect for evacuating Tikyū in a incredibly efficient manner.
