- The penal butler mentions avoiding pulling a "trigger" in financial terms. When Ivy's socially-conscious evil takes off and sends LexCorp stock soaring with a corresponding drop in Wayne Enterprises stock, the "trigger" is pulled and a mysterious woman books a flight to Gotham.
- Bullying a Dragon: Multiple villains hate on Ivy being the Legion of Doom's new CEO simply for the fact that she is a woman. Ivy is powerful enough to be more than capable of kicking their asses. Sure enough, after a pep talk from Nora, she does just that.
- Eating the Eye Candy: The in-universe on-stream audience waste no time complimenting Nightwing for his butt.
- Gone Horribly Right: Harley plans to lure out Professor Pyg by holding a sexy photoshoot with Nightwing (who was voted #2 on Gotham's "Hottest Hotties" list, and Pyg has been killing people on that list to steal their body parts). Pyg takes the bait, but he quickly escapes with Nightwing.
- Hero with an F in Good: Harley has a long way to go before living up to the Bat Family's standards, or fit any definition of hero aside from Sociopathic.
- Know When to Fold 'Em: Metallo tries to fake a system error to get out of Ivy kicking his ass. Ivy does it anyway.
- Likes Older Women: Harley remarks that Captain Boomerang spends his time at nursing homes and implies that it's because he's attracted to elderly women.
- Luxury Prison Suite: Blackgate is less a prison than it is a gentlemen's club with iron doors.
- Mr. Fanservice: Nightwing is voted number two on Gotham's "Hottest Hotties" list for his shapely butt, and Harley later exploits this by using Nightwing for a sexy photo shoot and livestream as bait for Professor Pyg, who's been killing off Gotham's hottest people and collecting their body parts. Nightwing is rather reluctant to take part in the plan, but he at least plays along until things go south when Pyg shows up and kidnaps him.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Harley's idea to use Nightwing as bait gets him kidnapped and nearly having his ass amputated for a flesh doll.
- Nightmare Fetishist: Damian seems rather interested in seeing a dead body and says "Cool" in response to seeing Professor Pyg's remains after Harley kills him.
- N-Word Privileges: It was a big deal that Dr. Psycho used the c-word on Wonder Woman, to the point that even Darkseid thought it was too far. Here Ivy calls Metallo a "tin cunt" and only gets a shocked "wow" in response. Unlike Dr. Psycho's utterance of the word, Ivy's use of it isn't bleeped out.
- Off with His Head!: Harley bashes in Professor Pyg's head in with her bat until it's nothing but meat and pulp.
- Previously on…: Poison Ivy gets the honors to provide the brief recap of the previous season.
- Primal Chest-Pound: When the Legion of Doom members complain about Ivy's leadership, Gorilla Grodd angrily pounds his chest.
- Shout-Out: To trap Professor Pyg by livestreaming Nightwing's butt, Harley poses as a photographer named "Umberto Argento", referencing film directors Umberto Lenzi and Dario Argento, whose Giallo films were full of bloody mutilations like Pyg commits.
