Monroe and Rosalee's wedding day dawns, providing Adalind with the distraction she needs to put her plan into motion, but will Trubel upset her schemes?
Renard is also on Adalind's trail, but unknown to him an old enemy is out for revenge.
Juliette is heartbroken by Nick's seeming betrayal, but even more shocking developments are in store.

- Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: After too much wine, Rosalee's sister DeEtta ruins their grandmother's wedding dress, the one Rosalee's suppose to wear tomorrow. She drunkenly insists that the dress is bad luck and she's doing Rosalee a favor, because she got married in it twice "and they both ended up in the crapper".
- Bed Trick: Adalind uses a spell to pose as Juliette and seduce Nick, which somehow unmakes him as a Grimm.Nick: [Adalind exits bathroom as Juliette and wearing a negligée] Whoa! You wearing that to the wedding?
Adalind!Juliette: Unless somebody takes it off me first.
Nick: Really?
Adalind!Juliette: Yeah. This whole wedding thing has kind of put me in a romantic mood. [Kisses him]
Nick: I support that.
Adalind!Juliette: You do, do you? [They kiss again]
Nick: I wish our friends would get married more often! [Dress Hits Floor] - Cliffhanger: Renard is in hospital after being shot, Monroe and Rosalee's wedding is ruined and Nick is no longer a Grimm.
- Blood from the Mouth: Renard coughs blood into his oxygen mask as he's driven to the hospital, indicating he's in serious danger.
- Call-Back:
- In his wedding rehearsal speech, Monroe's dad apologises for his earlier lack of acceptance.
- Setting up her Divide and Conquer, Adalind calls Juliette claiming that Renard's obsession with her has returned.
- Coupled with Foreshadowing when Nick and Trubel discuss Rolek Porter choosing to live a normal, Grimm-free life.
- Divide and Conquer: Used by Adalind to keep Renard from warning Nick and Juliette that Adalind was in their house. She convinces Juliette and Renard that the other is becoming obsessed with them again, a ruse that lasts just long enough to enact her plan to depower Nick.
- Easily Forgiven: Monroe lets DeEtta off the hook for ruining the wedding dress the night before the wedding, telling her they hated the dress anyway. The fact that she claimed to be protecting Rosalee from bad luck associated with that dress probably helps, and not wanting to start married life on a family feud.DeEtta: [Waking on the couch] Oh, God. Oh, God, what have I done? I'm so sorry. I can never make this up to you. Monroe, I...
Monroe: DeEtta, please. Just listen. [He sighs] I'm gonna have to be honest with you. Rosalee and I, we actually hated that dress. - Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: Juliette confronts Nick about sleeping with someone else while she was out. He insists he slept with her, she says he didn't. Nick sarcastically says that it was someone who looked and sounded just like her and was in their house... and it visibly dawns on them that, yeah, that could totally happen.Juliette: Nick, why don't you just go ahead and tell me what's going on?
Nick: I would, but I don't know what you're talking about.
Juliette: I'm talking about when I just came home, and my negligee was all scrunched up on the floor, and the bed was messed up.
Nick: Yeah, well, I didn't do that by myself.
Juliette: All right, want to tell me who you did it with? [Nick looks at her] Don't look at me like that! You did this, not me.
Nick: I didn't. I came home, you were wearing that negligee.
Juliette: My God, how stupid do you think I am? [...] I cannot believe that you would do something like this in our home, in our bed. [...] If we weren't going to Monroe and Rosalee's wedding, I would make you pull over, and I would get out.
Nick: Juliette, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Juliette: Nick, you were in bed with somebody.
Nick: Yeah, I was in bed with somebody! You! We made love.
Juliette: We didn't.
Nick: Okay, then it was somebody who looked and sounded exactly like you, was in our bedroom, and was wearing your negligee.
Juliette: Nick, it wasn't me.
Nick: Well, it had to have been you. Who else could it have been? - Groin Attack: Implied by Adalind when she tells Juliette that Renard is becoming obsessed with her again, and offers to brew up something to help.Adalind: It's sort of a pepper spray, but not for the face. You spray it... a little lower.
- Hurricane of Excuses: During the wedding rehearsal, the officiant breaks off to ask if there's a reason the best man is wearing shades. The entire wedding party shower her with reasons why Nick absolutely must wear shades during the ceremony (including Rosalee's mother and sister, who have apparently been informed at some point), all revolving around some form of eye trouble. The poor woman is left looking completely bemused.Nick: Oh. You know, I have this thing with my eyes.
Monroe: Yeah, no, he's got to wear them, 'cause it's, like, a light sensitivity issue that, if unprotected, it could...
Rosalee: Cause a sort of retinitis situation.
Juliette: He has very thin corneas.
DeEtta: Could be really dangerous.
Juliette: He could go blind.
DeEtta: They're like tissue paper.
Alice: The doctor really wants him to keep them on, you know.
Hank: Right, if he takes off the glasses...
Gloria: He could go blind and...
Bud: It could cause permanent damage.
Judge: Okay, fine. He keeps the glasses. Whatever you want. - I Just Want to Be Normal: Trubel asks Nick if he would rather be a normal person than a Grimm, and he evades the question. Later, when he and Juliette are horrified after realising it was Adalind he slept with, Juliette says that the Grimm stuff keeps steamrollering their lives and she doesn't know if she can take it anymore.
- Innocently Insensitive: When Nick and Juliette arrive at the wedding, upset and horrified after realising what Adalind did, Bud comes up to them and giddily calls it the most wonderful day ever.
- Irony:
- At the rehearsal dinner, Juliette makes a speech thanking Monroe and Rosalee for the "wonderful and strange" experience of knowing them and learning about the Wesen world. Less than a day later, after learning what Adalind did,
- After all the fuss made about Nick needing to wear shades to prevent panic at the wedding, he doesn't even need them. Instead, chaos erupts because the shades were on the wrong Grimm.
- Lethal Chef: Nick and Trubel have this in common. Nick apparently once nearly burned down the kitchen, as he tells Trubel when she does the same.Nick: Want me to order you takeout for tonight?
Trubel: Oh, so you mean I won't cook?
Nick: Is that what you call it? I'm kidding. Sort of. - Mistaken for Cheating: Juliette returns from getting her hair done to find her negligee screwed up on the floor and the bedclothes in a mess. Worse, when she mentions it to Nick, he makes suggestive comments as if he's taunting her. It goes back and forth a few times before it becomes apparent that Nick thinks he and Juliette had sex that afternoon, which she knows they didn't.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Because the Wesen wedding guests don't know Nick is a Grimm, they attack Trubel to protect him and cause the antidote to shatter.
- Oh, Crap!: So many.
- Renard, when he finds Adalind's storage lockup and realises what she's planning to do to Nick.
- Trubel, when Renard explains to her that Nick is in danger, gets directions to where he is, opens the door to go and is promptly shot three times in the chest by Agent Weston.
- Weston, when he chases Trubel through the house and finally corners her only to realise that she's a Grimm, with a machete.
- A mass example when Trubel arrives at the wedding, to be confronted by a hall full of Wesen, all in full woge. Trubel, the Wesen who were enjoying a wedding only to be confronted by a Grimm, the entire Grimm gang as they realise what's about to happen... fun times for all.
- The gang again, when they realise that Nick's no longer a Grimm.
- One Dialogue, Two Conversations: When Adalind leads Juliette and Renard to each believe the other is relapsing into obsession, Renard calls Juliette and misunderstandings are compounded, since Renard thinks Juliette came to his hotel room the previous night (Adalind test-driving the spell).Renard: Look, you're the one who started this.
Juliette: I didn't start anything. You called me!
Renard: After you came to see me.
Juliette: That was last year, and we both know why.
Renard: And what about last night?
Juliette: What about last night?
Renard: Wow. Really. That's how you're gonna do this.
Juliette: No, this is how I'm gonna do this. [Hangs up] What the hell? - Out-of-Character Alert: Juliette describes herself as "addicted" to bacon, so when Adalind-as-Juliette says she can't stand the stuff, Trubel is suspicious.Juliette: Well, I can never get past the bacon. I'm addicted.
Adalind!Juliette: Whatever, I hate bacon. - Proscenium Reveal: The episode opens on an outside shot of Monroe and Rosalee's wedding venue with the judge reciting the wedding ceremony, before revealing that it's the rehearsal.
- Smug Snake: Weston Steward is pretty sure he can take his time killing the random girl who witnessed him shooting Renard. He's wrong.Steward: Well, this is what I call being in the wrong place at the wrong time. [Puts his gun away] But I'm not gonna shoot you. Where's the Fun in That? [Woges, sees her] You're a Grimm!
- Wait, What?: Adalind's taxi driver is startled when she enters his taxi looking like Juliette and leaves it looking like herself. Later, Trubel does the same thing when the spell wears off as she's watching.
