It's been a little while since I've updated anything here, but I'm glad to say that development on the game is all going smoothly.
I've attached some screenshots of menus I've coded into the game, such as a Data Select for all characters outside of the sub-games and a brand-spanking-new menu system. For now, I can't really show off any gameplay.
While I'm writing, I'd just like to bring up that the code's also been acting kind of supernatural lately. I genuinely don't know what that's about. I've checked the code carefully, but found nothing.
Fingers crossed that I'll have this patched out later today. If anyone reading these logs has any idea what's going on and ideas on what to do, please inform me via the comments of this user's profile, and I'll take a good look at them. Talk again soon!

No updates on the game's progress for now, though I would like to talk about plans I have set out for this work.
So, the project, which I've dubbed "Project: Reclassified", takes place between Sonic CD and Sonic 2, setting the stage for the latter game through new levels. Obviously, none of the cast know about Sonic save for Robotnik, Amy and Sally.
Shame nobody even gave any explanation for the weird stuff I saw before, though Jake and Emily, the older of my two step-children, have tried to pinpoint a possible cause.
I'm gonna see what I can do before I get Asher to his swimming class this afternoon. Catch you later!
