Oh my god, there's so many bombs.
John "JBRedux" B is a YouTuber who makes general videos about games, most of which end up going into severe insanity.
The games he plays tend to be extremely varied, though Mario Kart and Smash Bros appear consistently. He's often joined by his friends, who help elevate the insanity to particularly high levels.
TV Tropes, hit us up, we have thoughts
- Applied Mathematics: Gaming equals plus sign.
- Big "YES!": Wish Volo likes to celebrate - whether it's him getting the secret strike in Wii Sports Bowling, or Azumad getting a Hidden Block one space away from a Star. With a Star in it.
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: John's friend Noah was originally intended to be the recurring guest of the Minecraft Content series, but they were never able to get back together to record a third episode. Eventually, Noah was replaced by Jordan for the series to continue, though the game was restarted on a new Minecraft save file. Noah has yet to appear on the channel since.
- Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: John is captioned as light blue in videos (or white, as the editor).
- Pandgo is a dark blue.
- Azumad is green.
- Wish Volo is orange, while Logan is yellow.
- Double Entendre:
- Early-Installment Weirdness: The earliest videos on JB's channelnote were recorded using a phone camera pointed at the TV screen displaying the game. Due to his lack of experience, the commentary and video editing was also considerably lower-quality by comparison to his newer videos.
- Despite the quality issues, events from certain older videos are still occasionally referenced in newer ones, typically when Austin is present.
- Gratuitous Foreign Language: John and Pandgo have occasionally used Spanish randomly. There has also been at least one recorded event of Pandgo making "aggressive French noises".
- The Power of Friendship: Discussed by John in Positively Gaming, where after winning a round with Austin, says it'd be a good time for a dumb moral.Austin: This is where I say that friendship is the DEFINITION OF POSITIVE GAMING!
- Pre-emptive Declaration: In a Mario Party Superstars video, Azumad uses a Double Dice Block to try to guarantee a Star four spaces away. He calls 2 and 1 and then gets both. Then he gets a star anyway from a Hidden Block.
- Running Gag: Once per Episode. Seriously, the development of running gags have themselves become a running gag, some of which transcend the video they're in. Notable ones include:
- Bombs? [1]
- Hit us up (insert entity here), we have thoughts.
- Jebar’s canonical left handedness.
- Hard LeBron James [2]
- Eating babies. [3]
- I'm positively gaming right now. Negative gaming forbivven.
- "That sounds like a skill issue."
- Too Dumb to Live: There's usually a very good reason to check out the tutorial of a game. Not that'd they'd look at it.John: Are we actually just going to go in with no idea on how to play the game?Pandgo: That's the plan!
- Waxing Lyrical:Austin: Can you run this way?John: I can walk this way. And, hear me out, I can talk this way.
- Word Salad: From Failing Miserably at Mario Kart 8:Austin: Epic gamer style, more epic than and epic style epic {{VideoGame/Fortnite}}. [[VideoGame/PlayerUnknownsBattlegrounds PUBG.John: Please stop.Austin: You know when you try to play that Epic Fortnite Overwatch PUBG Roblox Minecraft and then Epic Games comes in and bans you from playing it? Ugh, I hate it when his mom works at that.John: [Beat] What are you even talking about?
