Main franchise | Chuck E. Cheese in the Galaxy 5000

  • In the beginning after Pasqually arrives to start the emergency meeting:
Pasqually: Charlie, he's in a bind. He need-a some dough.
Jasper: Well, why do you need us, Pasqually? You've got more dough than anyone in town!
Chuck E.: Jasper! Pasqually's not talking about the kind of dough you make pizza with! He means the OTHER dough!
    Jasper: Oh, I get it...!
Munch: Do, a deer, a female deer...
Jasper: Re, a drop of golden sun...
Helen: But why do you need a female deer, Charlie?
    Charlie: Well, actually...
Pasqually: He need-a cash! Not-a the deer! He need-a cash!
Jasper: Oh, moolah! Why didn't you say so?
  • After the brief lapse into "Do-Re-Mi", Chuck E. can be seen shaking his head with hands to his temples as if saying, "Seriously, guys?"
  • To help Charlie, Jasper suggests they get jobs to raise the money. His suggestion? Well...
Jasper: Y'know, I saw a "Help Wanted" sign down at the Chicken Palace!
Helen: (gets mad) I don't think so...! (grumbles)
    Munch: Uh-oh!
Chuck E.: Jasper, now you've done it!
    Jasper: What?
    (Helen grumbles louder and louder)
    Jasper: Oops!
(He ducks for cover and everyone braces for the inevitable...)
Helen: Oh... WHERE DO HUMANS GET OFF ANYWAY, EATING POOR LITTLE DEFENSELESS BIRDS?! ARE THEY CRAZY!?! WHERE WOULD THEY BE WITHOUT THEIR EGGS FOR BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING??!! AND HOW DO THEY REPAY US?! BY GIVING US THE DEEP FRY!?!! (more grumbling)
Jasper: Uh, Miss Helen? As a member of a non-human species, I can relate.
Helen: Yeah, right, MR. MAN'S BEST FRIEND!!! (more grumbling; she launches into a clucking frenzy)
  • Munch taking off his shoes. It is to the point it becomes a Running Gag.
  • When Chuck E.'s friends are intent on bowing out, Chuck E. suddenly stands and catches a particular smell — adventure that is, which in turn cues "The Galaxy's for You and Me".
  • After Chuck E.'s song ends:
  • The arrival on Planet Orion:
    • Everyone comes plummeting right to the ground after they materialize; Helen in particular ends up right on Chuck E.'s lap, of which he is actually comfortable with.
      Chuck E.: Hi.
Helen: Ooh, Chuck E.! (giggles giddily)
    • Jasper gets Munch's shoe stuck in his mouth.
Jasper: Man, that was stinkier than a box of freshly-cut toenails!
    • Just before the Scene of Wonder that follows:
Chuck E.: Uh, Helen, don't you think we could get up now?
Helen: Oh, yeah...how silly of me.
  • While everyone is taking their first glances of Orion, Jasper mentions he should rent a condo to spend vacations here.
  • Peter and Ivan attacking one of the reporters when he mentions they were disqualified from last year's race.
  • When the old Songbird is revealed, we hear the song "Alouette" playing off-key.
  • This exchange after Flapjack leaves to get his toolbox:
Jasper: The only race this thing is gonna win is against the cross-eyed turkey with a sprained ankle!
Chuck E.: Come on, Jasper, it's not that bad... I guess.
Jasper: Are you kidding!?! This Songbird has turned into a Dodo Bird!
  • After Astrid drops her handkerchief, both Chuck E. and Jasper comically stumble into each other as they try to get it, followed by Helen getting it herself.
  • When asked by Astrid if he's dating Helen, Chuck E. nervously denies it, calling her "one of the guys". This causes Helen to stomp off in a jealous fit.
  • The countdown to start the qualifying race somehow skips the number 2 much to the confusion of everyone present. Even the X-Team is annoyed as the countdown is reset.
  • When the Songbird does not take off at the qualifiers due to disconnected wires, Jasper promptly rewires the circuits, and the result leaves him electrocuted for a few seconds as everyone stares at him.
  • Munch asking "Are We There Yet?" after the Songbird takes off.
Jasper: We're not goin' anywhere, Munch! This race goes around in a big circle!
Munch: But can we just pull over? I gotta go potty!!
Jasper: No, you're gonna have to hold it, you big furball!
    Munch: (groans exasperatedly)
  • Jasper starts to panic, then asks Chuck E. to push the yellow button, but nothing happens. Jasper quips the yellow button turned on the fan in time because Munch took off his shoes due to having itchy feet. While saying this, Chuck E. shoots Jasper an annoyed look (as if he were rolling his eyes), while Charlie can be seen flinching in disgust.
  • The first time Chuck E. uses Vega-2, the inability to handle it causes the Songbird to rocket straight upwards into the sky like a space shuttle.
  • After losing the qualifying race, Munch asks if he can finally use the restroom; Chuck E. bluntly says yes.
  • When the X-Pilots are mocking Chuck E.'s loss in the soda shop, Ivan misspells "loser" as "L-O-S-U-R".
  • Jasper's number in the soda shop, "Snowball's Chance in Texas", is a CMOF despite the fact it's meant to be melancholy:
    • Jasper makes up his own story based on what Chuck E. experienced; he mentioned his tail was run over by a pickup truck and his girlfriend left him for a basset hound.
    • In the second verse, Jasper mentioned a Rottweiler ate his lunch and Munch gave him fleas, whom he bluntly thanks for.
    • Charlie briefly laughs at Jasper during the flea story.
    • During the final chorus, Jasper calls out, "What are you smilin' at?!"
  • After Helen goads the X-Pilots into revealing the secret behind their cheating, the following argument comes up.
Helen: You guys are cheating, there IS such a thing as Zoom Gas!
    Peter: No!
    Ivan: Yeah!
    Peter: Yeah?
    Ivan: No!
    Peter: No?
    Ivan: YEAH!
    Peter: Yeah?
    Ivan: NO!
    Peter: No!
    Ivan: Yeah!
    Peter: Yeah?
    Ivan: No?
    Peter: No!
    Ivan: YEAH!
    Peter: YEAH!
    Ivan: YEAH!
    Peter: YEAH!
    Ivan: NO!
    Peter: NO!
    Ivan: NO!
    Peter: YEAH!
    Dr. Zoom: ENOUGH, YOU FOOLS!!!
  • When Helen is being seized:
Dr. Zoom: I'm afraid my dear, that I can't let you go. As the saying goes, "Loose Lips sink ships."
Helen: But I don't have lips!
Dr. Zoom: Yeah, but uh... loose beaks cause leaks that sink ships.
  • Chuck E. noting Harry's uncanny resemblance to Pasqually.
    • The first time is when they first meet after waking up in the caves:
Chuck E.: Who are you? You really look familiar.
Harry: I'm your friendly neighborhood...hermit! Harry the Hermit, to be precise!
    • The second time is before departing for the Galaxy 5000:
      Harry: You're gonna do it!
Chuck E.: Right! Goodbye! (chuckles, to himself:) Pasqually.
  • Harry cites hermits knowing the art of realizing your true potential as why "people call us hermits instead of bums".
  • All of Chuck E.'s crazy training sessions with Harry during "True Potential"; seriously, ALL OF IT.
    • The first exercise is him hopping across a series of geysers which erupt at random, sometimes unexpectedly. He even repeatedly screams and yells as if startled by the fire.
    • The second is even funnier; Chuck E. runs inside a human hamster wheel at high speeds, and you can hear him huffing and panting while trying desperately to keep up. When he succeeds at such after the song, he is running so fast his voice has even sped-up to match!
    • The most funny would be the third, a life-sized whac-a-mole. Chuck E. has to hit a series of real moles popping out with flyswatters, and each time he misses, they hit back. By the end of this scene, all of the moles are swatting him on the head.
    • Though the scene with the zen lesson (Chuck E. and Harry sitting by the crystal ball which shimmers like a revolving nightlight) is more heartwarming than funny, one shot in particular takes the cake; when the mentally focused Chuck E. is shown in close-up, he appears to have a somewhat seductive and zoned-out look on his face as the lights flash at him, making it appear as if he's gone high on something.
  • When Astrid abandons Chuck E. for the X-Pilots, Charlie asks Jasper and Munch if it's one of those "girl things" again.
  • Before departing for the Galaxy 5000, Chuck E. is shown waxing Harry's table; Chuck E. adds aside his arms feel more toned after this exercise, but Harry quips he just wanted his table waxed.
  • Dr. Zoom's wonky rendition of "Zoom Gas" after he gets hit by Helen's Frying Pan of Doom.
  • During the system check before the Galaxy 5000 begins:
    Chuck E.: Fuel?
    Jasper: Check.
    Chuck E.: Navigation?
    Jasper: Check.
    Chuck E.: Vega control?
    Jasper: Check.
Snack vendor: (suddenly appears outside) Pizza!
    (Music suddenly stops)
    Jasper: Huh??
    Chuck E.: PIZZA??
    (Beat; music resumes)
    Munch: Check!
Chuck E., Jasper, and Charlie: MUNCH!!!!!!
    Munch: I can't help it, I'm hungry!
  • Harry initially watches the Galaxy 5000 through his crystal ball, only for it to quickly lose reception, prompting him to project it onto the cave walls instead:
Harry: Darn, that crystal ball! Agh... They just don't-a make 'em like-a they used to anymore!
  • Helen telling the police about the X-Team's Zoom Gas secret, all while there is no sound and Benny Hill-esque music playing.
  • Peter breathing into Astrid's handkerchief just before diverting the Songbird off-course; Ivan's response is to get out a barf bag in disgust.
  • The voice of Harry coming in just after the Songbird gets out of the Black Forest. Chuck E.'s reaction says all:
Chuck E.: It's the hermit! I hear you! Are you communicating telepathically?
Harry: Nooo, I'm on the CB radio.
    Chuck E.: ...Oh.
