Pierre Hatet (April 20, 1930 - May 24, 2019) was a French actor and voice actor.

His career across stage, film and television spanned over 60 years. He was particularly active in the French dub industry, quite often as wicked villains, though not limited to them. He was the regular voice of Christopher Lloyd, most famously as Doc Emmett Brown in Back to the Future (there's a good reason the franchise always comes up there as an example of Superlative Dubbing), as well as Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Uncle Fester in the 1990s Addams Family films. It's also him who dubbed the "This message will self-destruct" briefings in Mission: Impossible.

Memorable animation roles he dubbed (to the point of Can't Un-Hear It) included the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series and most of the rest of the DC Animated Universe and some appearances until 2015, Captain Hook in Peter Pan & the Pirates, the Brain (renamed "Cortex") in Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain, Z in Men in Black, Colonel Shikishima in AKIRA and Nakamura in Ghost in the Shell.

He passed away at age 89 in 2019.
