George Savalas (born Georgios Demosthenes Savalas, December 5, 1924 - October 2, 1985) was an American actor best known for Kelly's Heroes (1970), Kojak (1973-1978), and Fake Out (1982).
He was married to Robin Abber and had six children. His brother was Telly Savalas.
Savalas died in 1985 at the age of 60 from leukemia.
