Shion

  • Barrier Warrior: Has learned how to manifest barriers that can withstand mid-level jutsu without issue.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Played with. Is annoyed by how close Hinata is to Naruto, and is irritated whenever the others imply the other girl is closer to him than she is. That said she's willing to become a concubine as long as she's guaranteed a place at Naruto's side.
  • Good Counterpart: Is noted by Ino to be this to Hinata.
Sakura: "Yeah, but since when was Hinata the evil twin?"
Ino: "Since when can a good twin make those around her fear for their lives just by being nearby at will?"
The other three couldn't really come up with anything to counter that.
  • Prophet Eyes: Her regular ability to see a person's death before it happens. Due to a certain quirk of her powers, she knows of the previous timeline.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Invoked. Realizing that if she wants to stand by Naruto's side she'll need to able to help him, she spends the first few years of the new timeline training to trigger her Prophet Eyes at will, and can now act as a Barrier Warrior.
  • Universally Beloved Leader: As a result of her greater mastery over her powers, she was able to provide timely warnings to her subjects, helping them avoid disasters, illnesses and criminals. As a result the citizens of the demon country have nothing but admiration for her, and her guards are dedicated out of personal loyalty rather than duty.
  • Victoria's Secret Compartment: When trying to decide how to carry Naruto in fox form without restricting movement, she simply places him in between her breasts, to Hinata's ire.

Carmen

  • Cyborg: Half of her body has been replaced with cybernetics, including an AI assistant in her head.
  • Forced into Evil: Played with. She's forced into working with Akatsuki after Tobi kidnaps her, but she doesn't particularly care that they're evil, just that she's being forced into a job. She still goes along with the attempt to catch Fuu, but only because she wants to get payed.
  • Hired Guns: She's a mercenary by trade, and tends to take jobs solely for the pay.
  • Jerkass: She doesn't care for any of the worlds she visits and ruins, only being focused on getting paid and finding treasure.
  • Laser Blade: She has several in her possession, the narration even noting their resemblance to Lightsabers.
  • Mauve Shirt: Of the 2nd group of Dimension Jumpers, she initially is the one with the most fleshed out personality, but is also the first Jumper in general to die.
  • More Dakka: Her primary strategy when fighting is to shoot shit up with her guns. Ranging from sniper rifles to BFG, she mainly likes to shoot shit.
  • Oh, Crap!: Once she realizes just who Crypt is with, she understandably loses it, shortly before her death.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes:
    • None of her former group mourn her death at the hands of Crypt, and pretty much say she got what she deserved.
    • The Akatsuki don't like or trust her either, only working with her due to Tobi taking an interest in her connection to the Kyubi (She was fighting it) and the powers she had.

Kaguya

  • Adaptational Early Appearance: Appears at the tail end of the battle of Iwa, rather than in the Final Battle in canon
  • Adaptational Heroism: In canon, her actions were entirely her own, including the attempts to devour her "children". Here, she was the Unwitting Pawn of Black Zetsu, the will of the World Tree itself, who forced her to have the ravenous hunger that made her try to devour her sons. Upon being made aware of this by Naruto, she kills Black Zetsu, and is willing to entertain Naruto's offer for the Oogakari to remove the tree from her because of it.
  • Adaptational Intelligence: Doesn't need Black Zetsu to strategize this time around.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Downplayed, as she's not dead in canon, but in a state of near death with her body serving as the moon. Here, the Demonic Statue isn't the moon, so when she's released, Naruto simply evicts her from the planet and leaves her in space.

Madara Uchiha

  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul:
    • As his revival frees him of Izuna's brainwashing, his relationships with the (also revived) Senju brothers are much better. He's best friends with Hashirama again and is implied to be cordial with Tobirama, even if they still don't like each other all that much.
    • In contrast, Madara is implied to have an extremely poor opinion of Izuna now that his brother no longer has any influence over him. Dialogue between Hashirama and Tobirama suggests that Madara might even want to kill him, which is a strong difference to canon Madara's deep, unwavering love for his younger brother.
  • Adaptational Early Appearance: Like Kaguya, he appears (in his Edo Tensei form) after the Battle of Iwa, instead of during the Final Battle like in canon.
  • Adaptational Heroism: He didn't betray Konoha voluntarily. It turns out he was brainwashed into doing so by his younger brother Izuna.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: What really happened to him when he betrayed Konoha, courtesy of Izuna.
  • Cain and Abel: Surprisingly, the Abel to Izuna's Cain. It's eventually confirmed that Madara's fall from grace was actually a result of Izuna brainwashing him into screwing himself over.
  • Everyone Has Standards: Even before he found out about the brainwashing, Madara was disgusted by Izuna's obsession with Mito and was genuinely apologetic to Hashirama every time it became an issue.
  • My Greatest Failure: Izuna is implied to be his. Either way, he's disappointed in his younger brother and the only reason Hashirama didn't waste Izuna immediately is because he felt Madara needed the closure more.
