In General

A unit who appeared early on in Season 3 and quickly garnered attention among PriPara. Composed of the cute Kanon, the mysterious and cool Junon, and the perky Pinon. Their time as a unit was short lived when their true identity was revealed before everyone.

• Foreshadowing: There were some signs that they're all the same person and it was Non, such as they all having a side ponytail with a lavender streak forming a number (with Kanon being 1, Pinon 2 and Junon 3), their names all ending with "non", and they suspiciously appearing one by one in the interview in Kanon debut episode. Also Non was shown getting a priticket in the first episode of the season.
• Invented Individual: All three of them for a single person, Non Manaka. Kanon was the only real one, as she was Non's idol persona, but once Non reveals her secret she stops using her.
• One-Man Band: Played with. Since they're all the same person, Non Manaka.
• Themed Aliases: All three have "Non" in their name.
  • In another sense, all three of them also have the same streak of lavender.
• Walking Spoiler: It's hard talking about them without saying they're all the same person.
• Wild Mass Guessing: As the characters started to surface several fans were already guessing things about them, as well as their true identities.
  • What didn't help was a little girl showing up who resembled Kanon, but actually served no role in the series outside of one scene.

Junon

Voiced by: Minami Tanaka

The coolest idol in PriPara. Initially somewhat suspicious she spied on Laala and the others until making her debut. She appears cold outwardly due to her emotionless nature.

• Animal Motifs: Butterfly.
• Anime Hair: A large, curled side-tail in two separate Ojou Ringlets, one of which is lavender.
• Character Catchphrase: Superior Cool Butterfly.
• Character Tic: Folds wrists with open palms at chin level while her head is tilted to the side and she gazes away.
• Composite Character: The episode 98 reveals that Non created her based on Sophy, Sion, Aroma, Cosmo, Chanko and Love.
• Graceful Ladies Like Purple: Her color scheme. Interestingly, her casual coord is black-themed with minor purple accent.
• Ice Queen: She has a cool personality and always talk about ice and cold.
• Pretty Butterflies: Her attire is themed after them. Her main coord even has large butterfly wings on the back!
• Verbal Tic: Ju.

Pinon

Voiced by: Minami Tanaka

The ultra-peppy Idol with tons of energy who can hardly sit still! Pinon debuted after Junon and is rather air-headed and curious.

• Anime Hair: A single bun on the side of her head with a large curl hanging from it. In the center is a swirl of fuchsia and lavender.
• Character Tic: Winks while hopping onto one foot and raising an arm outwardly.
• Composite Character: Dorothy notes that she is a combination of herself, Mirei, and Ajimi. She has an outfit that resembles the attire in Mirei's brand, her blue eyes and hair match Dorothy, and her personality is like Ajimi's. Latter confirmed to be true, since episode 98 reveals that Non created her based on Mirei, Dorothy, Reona and Ajimi.

Kanon

Voiced by: Minami Tanaka

The final of the trio to debut but the leader who founded the unit. She has a bond with Usacha after they ran into each other to realize they shared a lot in common. Behind her ultra-kawaii personality she hid a dark secret...

• Anime Hair: A thick side-tail with the bottom shaped like a flower and a single streak of lavender.
• Character Catchphrase: Kano-pero!
• Character Tic: Has a habit of winking with her tongue out and making peace signs facing her eyes.
  • She also does the "Silly Me" Gesture a lot, to the point of being her trademark pose.
• Composite Character: The episode 98 reveals that Non created her based on Falulu, Laala, Mikan, Gaaruru and Hanana.
• Flower Motifs
• I Am the Band: Played With. Since they're all the same person, Kanon is the only member who isn't a hologram.
• Meaningful Name: manaKA NON.
  • Also the name Kanon is often written with the kanji for "flower" and "sound", referencing Kanon's flower motif and her occupation as an idol.
• Pink Means Feminine: A lovely-type idol, which is associated with girly styles and the color pink.
• Rose-Haired Sweetie: A somewhat stark contrast to her real identity.
• The Reveal: She is actually the idol persona of Non Manaka! Which led to a Put on a Bus for the Unit unfortunately. After she reveals this she rarely goes back to her previous forms.
