    Haydee

Our sexy protagonist
Haydee is a cybernetically modified human female, controlled by the Player, that works her way through the game by solving puzzles, exploring the environment and defending against any hostile enemies in her way. Her goal is to either get out of the facility she is in or replace the Master Haydee at the end of the facility.
  • Action Girl: Haydee is able to hold very well against hordes of robots that seeks to kill her.
  • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: A benevolent version, since Haydee is only trying to escape from a possible Fate Worse than Death.
  • Ambiguously Brown: It's hard to tell if Haydee is just tan, or if her skin-tone is an ethnic thing. Her being part of a mass-manufactured line of identical cyborgs/androids that probably never get exposed to sunlight until/unless they get out of the facility seems to imply the latter, however. Although one of the developers confirmed that Haydee in the first game is indeed tanned.
  • All for Nothing: Tragically, for Haydee, all three endings of the game are shaggy dog stories; in the "Escape" ending, Haydee actually fails to escape and finds herself locked in a room with no way out, doomed to eventually starve to death. In the "Control" ending, Haydee kills the rogue unit controlling the facility and takes her place, starting the cycle again. And in the "Deadlock" ending, Haydee uses a proximity mine to kill both herself and the rogue unit, seemingly breaking the cycle... Only for the facility to activate an emergency protocol, effectively rendering Haydee's sacrifice moot as another unit will eventually reach the master room to replace the rogue unit anyway.
  • The Blank: The robot-half of Haydee gives her a featureless face-mask helmet that also indicates her healthbar in the back of her head. Being mass-manufactured androids/cyborgs, it's not even clear if Haydee and her peers even have a face under their helmet. Amusingly enough despite the lack of mouth and eyes, she has two wearables she needs to don on her eyes and mouth. Subverted by the second game, which shows Haydee's face.
  • Cyborg: She is half-robot and half-human with tight-fitting plastic plates completely armoring her upper-body and absolutely nothing below her waist.
  • Expy: Haydee resembles the Combine Assassin, a scrapped Half-Life enemy.
  • Featureless Protagonist: All Haydee has is a very fanservice-y appearance. No voice, no personality, no backstory, no face.
  • Flat Character: Haydee doesn’t have a single moment that suggests that she has a personality and is simply just following what the player tells her to do.
  • Girly Run: Haydee's running animation has her running as such, contributing to the bounciness of her breasts, albeit her arms are lowered as she runs.
  • Hammerspace: Zig-zagged; story-wise, Haydee has a backpack to store her tools and supplies. In-game, however, her weapons just materialize in her hand out of thin air when equipped and tools do not appear at all when used.
  • Handguns: Haydee's weapon is a trusty black-and-white Glock-esque pistol.note
  • Heroic Mime: You never hear a peep out of Haydee. Since she's a robot (with no mouth), it's possible it's not entirely her fault.
  • Irony: Being a faceless Heroic Mime with no known backstory makes Haydee a Flat Character personality-wise. Body-wise, however, she's anything but flat.
  • Leotard of Power: Haydee is wearing a thong leotard that hugs her curvaceous body and while providing a good view of her legs.
  • Life Meter: Haydee's health bar is built into her, displayed on the back of her head in a similar style to Dead Space
  • Meaningful Name: "Haydee" is a Greek name that means "well-behaved"; its use as the protagonist's name was based on the character Haydée from the novel The Count of Monte Cristo.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Just look at her; she's curvaceous almost to the point of parody and the game's camera milks it for all it's worth.
  • Mysterious Past: Next to nothing is known about Haydee, where she comes from, how did she got turned into a Main/Cyborg, why do they keep her and clones of her inside the facility.
  • Pants-Free: Due to only having a leotard, her legs are bare for all to see.
  • Protagonist Title: Haydee's name is the title of the game.
  • Robot Girl: Actually, she is a Cyborg, but due to her ambiguity, it is unknown if she is actually an A.I. inside the body of a cyborg, a robot with organic parts or a case of Unwilling Robotization.
  • Supermodel Strut: Haydee's walking animation has her strutting her stuff like a supermodel, seemingly just to invoke Third-Person Seductress.
  • Was Once a Woman: Implied, its heavily implied in the first and second game that Haydee used to be a woman that was kidnapped and then turned into a cyborg to be sold to powerful people to act as a Bodyguard Babes.
  • You Are Number 6: The Haydee that the player plays as is AB16-800B-58AB-E832.

Enemies

    Haydee 1

Slasher

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_0252.jpeg
Fast but weak
A enemy of the first game, the Slashers are weak but fast robots that attack Haydee with their blades. They go down easily but you must be fast before they get to you.

  • Cyber Cyclops: Just like the Walker, they only have one red eye.
  • Fragile Speedster: Slashers are fast but they also have the lowest health of the two enemies we can fight and are also the enemies who least damage can do (although they can kill you in two attacks if not properly armored).

Walker

Slow but strong
Another rare enemy of the first game, the Walkers are slow but hit very hard, sometimes killing Haydee in one hit if she isn’t properly armored to resist the hits
  • Cyber Cyclops: Just like Slasher, they only have one red eye.
  • Mighty Glacier: Walkers are slow, but can resist more damage than the Slasher and make more damage, sometimes killing Haydee in one hit if un-properly armored.
