Sally Acorn is the titular main character of the fan comic, who comes into close contact with the poison flowers, Tails gave to her, leading her to itch and become an itchy, giant balloon. However, she uses her swollen body as a weapon to stop Metal Sonic from terrorising the east side of the island in the end.- Accidental Hero: Sally becomes this, after bloating up from the poison flowers’ side effects.
- Acrofatic: Poison Flower Balloon Sally can use her swollen body to fight, despite her condition.
- The Ace:
- Action Hero: Despite being bloated from the poison flowers, Sally is still able to fight.
- Alter Ego: Poison Flower Balloon Sally is Sally' alter ego.
- Balloon Belly: Sally gains this from the her affection from the poison flowers.
- Big Beautiful Woman: Poison Flower Balloon sure looks beautiful in her bloated shape.
- Big Fun:
- Fat and Proud: Subverted. Sally begins to like her bloated form, after bouncing Metal Sonic off of her belly.
- Fat Comic Relief: Poison Flower Balloon Sally can sit down to relax, once tired from walking or running.
- Forced Transformation: Sally activates this, by gaining her itchiness from the Poison Flowers.
- Formerly Fit: Sally was slimmer, in her original form, until she received a gift of poison flowers from Tails, which led her to balloon into a large, fat (and somewhat itchy) chipmunk.
- Gentle Giant: In the epilogue, Sally asks if Tails wants to hug her enormous belly, to which Tails answers, “Yes”. She gently hugs him in the end.
- Inconvenient Itch: The Poison Flowers, Tails gave to Sally, cause her to itch and scratch herself, uncontrollably.
- Inflating Body Gag: Sally scratches herself from her itchiness, caused by the poison flowers, which result in her, rapidly bloating up like a giant balloon.

- Lightning Bruiser: Despite her bloated figure, Sally uses her large belly to bounce off Metal Sonic.
- Meaningful Gift: Tails gives Sally a gift of flowers (which they don’t know are Poison Flowers), which unfortunately transform Sally into a big and itchy superweapon.
- Stout Strength: Sally’s bloated figure increases her strength.
- Superweapon Surprise: The poison flowers, Tails gave Sally, suddenly become a surprise to her, when she bloats up from it’s side effects.
- Temporary Bulk Change: Sally gains this. However, in the epilogue, Nicole explains that Sally will be back to her normal self.
- Weight Woe: Nicole remarks that the effects of the poison flower are the increasing of the body’s weight. Due to being bloated from the effects, Sally gets tired from walking.

Tails is the one, who gave Sally, the poison flowers as a gift and the indirect cause of Sally’s transformation into Poison Flower Balloon Sally.- Create Your Own Hero: Tails gives Sally a bunch of flowers (unaware that they are poison flowers), thus accidentally creating Sally’s new transformation, Poison Flower Balloon Sally.
- Easily Forgiven: Tails apologises for giving Sally the poison flowers and she forgives him for it.
- It Was a Gift: The flowers, Tails gave Sally, turn out to be a gift for her.
- My God,What Have I Done?: Tails realises his mistake of giving Sally the poison flowers.
