Considering who came up with the story, it's no surprise that there's no shortage of badass moments throughout Rebel Moon.

- For starters, Netflix has apparently undergone a unique logo branding. The N is stylized in polished steel gray before turning red.
- The very first image is reminiscent of Gladiator, with the green fields of wheat... and then a metallic hand passes over them. A brilliant introduction to the Jimmy who is voiced by none other than Anthony freaking Hopkins!
- Imagine C-3P0 only as a war machine, with the voice of Odin and you get a killer-combat machine with the wisdom of several hundred years.
- The arrival of the Imperium on Veldt is both this and NightmareFuel. The presence of their ships, and the entrance of Atticus Noble instills rightful panic in the civilians, and Kora herself. This is an Intergalactic Empire worthy of Star Wars.note
- Kora's first action sequence firmly establishes her as a fearsome warrior, as she single-handly disarms and kills several heavily armed Imperium soldiers with a knife and an axe.
- Nemesis' action sequence features her battling Harmada, a giant humanoid-arachnid hybrid, armed with a pair of flaming swords.
- The farmers of Veldt show they're not giving up their planet without a fight.
- The brief introduction of Darrian Bloodaxe, holding a four-foot long gun, while liberating some slaves from the gasp of the Imperium.
- The numerous shots of ships in space and on various planets shows just how massive this universe is.
- Tarak taming a griffon-like beast and leaping onto its back in mid-flight. The shot afterwards of said creature flying just close enough for Kora to reach out and let her fingertips brush one of its wings is simply awe-inspiring.
- The release announcement. The title, Rebel Moon appears, followed by PART ONE: A CHILD OF FIRE December 22, 2023. And then right below that, PART TWO: THE SCARGIVER, April 19, 2024. That's right; Rebel Moon is two films that will both be shown in the span of five months. note
Geeked Week ' 23 Trailer
- Kora's action is shown in greater detail, first feigning surrender before hacking the Imperium soldiers apart with speed and precision. Afterwards, the residents of Veldt are left speechless, while Kora declares that they have to fight back, before finishing off a wounded enemy with a gunshot.
- In a bar on Daggus, one bounty hunter seemingly gets the drop on Kora. She expertly pins him to the counter and slams a knife inches from his face.
- In a brief sequence, Nemesis is seen slicing up Mooks with her blades on what is presumably Motherworld. The red flashes really emphasize the heat that the blades are giving off as well as the speed of her swings.
- Darrian Bloodaxe running up a crane and launching off of it to attack a gunship with a spear!
- And that's not pure CGI or wirework. Ray Fisher really made that jump.
