This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

Could you please change the ''[[TotalWar Medieval 2: Total War]]'' link on the Gush.LestPlay page to a Medieval II: Total War ( ''VideoGame/MedievalIITotalWar'' ) link instead.
Also, could you please add links to Illuminati: New World Order and Delta Green to the pre-existing examples in the Tabletop Games folder of the Church of Happyology page.
I'd be super happy if you could go to Fifty Shades of Grey and move the Nightmare Fuel entry to Accidental Nightmare Fuel. Also, please add this:
- Canon Sue: Ana not only gets to date a super-hot man. She also gets promoted from secretary to editor one week after being hired, even though she spent more of her working hours emailing Christian than actually working.
- At Live-Action TV, please remove the My Babysitter's a Vampire example and add Disney to the "shows with their own pages" index.
- From here:
- My Babysitter's a Vampire rewrite goes to Disney.
- At DC Animation, please double indent Darkseid for Superman animated and then add Brainiac below.
- Nagash goes to Tabletop Games (before the 40k examples).
Accidental Nightmare Fuel says this:
@Austin: Not sure if that constitutes a removal reason.
@Mister Noh: Added the first, the second doesn't exist.
@jormis: Both done.
@Michael: Did the addition, didn't the Nightmare Fuel edit because of My Timing Is Off's objection.
@ACW: Did all of this.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThanks, but please move Nagash before the Warhammer 40000 ones.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsYo, I'm working on filling out proper linking to my webcomic White Dark Life to make sure it's up to standards. I've run into a problem though since I can't add Artemis to the list of Horny Devils. I just need someone to add something like
- Artemis from White Dark Life is the highest ranking succubus in hell and the wife of Dark Matt after the Timeskip. Unlike most other examples on this list, she prefers to use more chaste methods of life draining though she is indeed capable of draining life through sex. A fact which terrifies her immortal husband once she starts demanding more children.
Thanks.

The issue with the Snapped entry on Fan Works is that with the fic gone, there's no way for the cleanup thread to determine if the character actually meets the trope criteria.
Did the Monster.Tabletop Games and Horny Devils edit (plus a post edit to get a link).
The Snapped entry was already approved by the thread; the fact that the original work is gone doesn't invalidate that judgment.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPlanet of Hats has a genuine instance of Chekovs Gun in this strip (panel 6). Can an admin please add it to Chekovs Gun?
(It's also an instance of Chekhov's Gun - I'm quite clear on the distinction.)
Uh, what is the 6th panel there?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHe meant panel 5. You can check dialogue by panel in the transcript. I would like to say that I think Main.Chekovs Gun should be a redirect to JustForFun.Chekovs Gun since it is a gag page.
- Ensign Chekov appears in Planet of Hats, "I, Mudd" pointing out something had happened to his gun in panel five.

Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Whoops, misremembered the second addition to the "Morality Tropes" folder of No Real Life Examples, Please!.
The other entry for NRLEP is SortingAlgorithmOfEvil, not ... of doom. Sorry about that.

Please add Mick Taylor rewrite to Film P To Z and Ivo Statoc rewrite to Comic Books (please also wrap a Big Bad around "primary villain"). Thanks.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsDid the last requests. Chekovs Gun will have to stay where it is; the confusion is the joke of that page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhat confusion?

- Critical Dissonance: For the film version, as it made over $260 millon in the box offices, but was panned by critics, with a 46 out of 100 with Metacritic and a 25% Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Edit request for Barack Obama.
Raised by Grandparents: Barack was raised by his grandmother for much of his life. Sadly, she died the day before he was elected President for the first time.
The fantasy RPG videos that play in my head are amazing.Nope. That's about him as a real person.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Critical Dissonance is when general audiences and critics disagree about the quality of a work, not just critics panning any commercially successful work. A work can be commercially successful and still be reviled by audiences and critics alike.
@crazysamaritan: The Chekovs Gun <-> Chekhov's Gun one. One letter off.
@ACW: Added the pothole.
@Blazer: I dunno. A bit more focus on the audience reception instead of the box office one might help.
@King Lyger: Eh, no; the page is more focused on image/oratorial aspects.

That is done.
