I dunno, is Deranged Animation subjective? I don't really see how anyone can make a case for a lot of the examples not being deranged...
My tropes launched: https://surenity2.blogspot.com/2021/02/my-tropes-on-tv-tropes.htmlThe description basically says What Do You Mean, It Wasn't Made on Drugs? Up To Eleven.
Video Game Census. Please contribute. That's just plain incorrect. What Do You Mean, It Wasn't Made on Drugs? is about the actual audience speculation that a creator used drugs. Though that page still needs an audience reaction banner, it is not subjective, and it can be tuned up to eleven.
Cosmic Deadline, if it's not already in this thread. See this thread for the reasoning.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"According to the first sentence, it is "A common form of Ass Pull or Writer Cop Out..."
Both of these are YMMVs

Why is Ass Pull a YMMV?
I mean, the title & description are harsh, but basically it boils down to "critical development happens without foreshadowing". This isn't any more open to dispute than the average "objective" trope.

Pretentious quote || In-joke from fandom you've never heard of || Shameless self-promotion || Something weird you'll habituate toEpileptic Trees. Its a fandom reaction trope.

YMMV:
- Alternative Character Interpretation
- Character Alignment is marked, but not the individual alignments
edit:
Also, Ensemble Dark Horse
and Rooting for the Empire appears to be entirely an Audience Reaction Trope.

Esoteric Happy Ending states pretty clearly that it's an audience reaction trope.
edit: as does Why Would Anyone Take Him Back?.

she her hers hOI!!! i'm tempeOTP. i've seen it used in a work page at least once, when that should really be taken to TroperTales. One True Pairing.
also, Portmanteau Couple Name and Fan Nickname should get fan-speak banners. they're both in the Fan-Speak index but don't have the banner.
Why is Parody Sue listed as fan-speak page. Of all sue tropes this is the most concrete one.
It's also kind of contradictory when the banner says "No examples, please." and the page has some 20 folders with examples. So which one is it?
Regulated fun - the best kind! I don't make the rules, just enforce them with an iron fist.Banner on Parody Sue has been changed.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyThere was also talk of making a new Trivia banner for tropes that are to be moved to that section. Should we list those here as well?
Regulated fun - the best kind! I don't make the rules, just enforce them with an iron fist.Fetish Fuel needs some sort of clarification. I'm assuming since there is no main page, only troper tales, that it doesn't go anywhere on the wiki? Or am I wrong, and it can go on YMMV?

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Yeah, we're pretty much not interested in Fetish Fuel outside of Tales; it is way too small-group a focus. I mean, most of the stuff could be just something one guy finds hot. Anyway, listening to some guy drool on about his fetish is just boring or annoying for people who don't share the kink. Which is going to be most readers.
Full respect, of course, for people to be as kinked as they want to be. Go Team Kink!
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyOkay, I'll put something to that effect at the top of the Fetish Fuel page, if that's okay with you.
EDIT: How's that?

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Worth a shot. Seems like one of the pages you can't say anything about that won't raise a ruckus with at least some people, but it probably needs saying, if it can be done without dissing anybody.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyEDIT: Nevermind, Trivia doesn't have a banner yet.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Ah. In that case, Actor Allusion and Shout-Out need one.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Why does everything with "Sue" in the title seem to have the fan-speak banner now? Can someone fix that?

Crown Description:
YMMV is for items that are reactions of the audience to works and tropes that need a significant judgment call to tell whether they exist objectively or not. Should these items become members of YMMV? Note: Audience Reactions need to be subjective, emotional responses and things that are likely to cause arguments and disagreements. Merely being outside a work or inside an audience don't make things YMMV
