A hero isn't a hero because he's perfect. He's a hero because he's strong enough to do the right thing despite his imperfections.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Just passing through for a roll call.
Four-year old girl cries over US elections.
Just felt posting it.
Hi again,
I decided to fill my page with info
I decided also to change my current story-idea in my head, cuz some stuff loses its luster over time
Hopefully, if I ever get into the animation business, this concept might be pitched or something:
In a not so distant future or something, a not-so-evil but sociopathic researcher-smart guy-whatever was assassinated by a group of dimensional invaders, for his research will inadverdently reveal their existence
However, said guy survived, who absorbed lots of dimensional energy and used his expertise to turn himself into a henshin hero to fight said invaders
I decided to borrow a snake motif and telekinetic abilty from an the earlier story, though I think it would be nice to have him modeled on a basalisk
I thought of him using two snake-theme guns but then it would be nice to have a gun that can transform into a sword
Did I mention whenever the battle escalates, he can transform into a giant humanoid monster a la Ultraman
I also wanted to have a second hero but female, also from my earlier concept, along with her scorpion motif
But I thought of a new origin, since she was a recently released entitiy that copied the various features of diff. women to gain her own form, as well as some source of humor due to her unfamiliarity with the current world
She is, more or less a reincarnation of a female middle eastern hero (hence her scorpion motif)who vowed to fight if ever the invaders attacked again
She can also grow into a giant humanoid monster as well
Pls don't complain if I'm ripping off, copying etc other shows, but tokusatsu IS a world full of cliche storms, and it still manages to be awesome
By the way, vandalize my page, pls and thank you
Be nice to the security guard and don't be ALAYERnote , or the Internet will rip you a new one.

Hi guise. Been a while since I last posted.
@judasmartel: Hey, how's your fan fic going? Also, I concur with your post about Philippine TV and how bland it is compared to TV in other countries.
Philippine cinema on the other hand is actually getting better IMO, both in technical quality and storytelling, despite a growing trend with movies about unfaithful relationships.

Sidestep that, bro.Got bored so I did some research about the original PPG for a while. I really want to introduce the Powerpuff Girls to the new generation of kids, because even with the advent of the Internet, not every Filipino kid who has TV at home has an internet connection.
I'm actually afraid I might trip into the pitfalls that plague writing for Philippine TV, because I tend to add some familiar Philippine Soap elements in my draft except not the "weak heroine, bitchy yandere rival" archetype. While my PPG fanfic definitely has potential, I don't want it to be just another Soap Opera with action elements, either. If anything, I want to be as successful as Encantadia or Vhong Navarro's Lastikman.
In my latest draft:
- Mojo Jojo was once Utonium's assistant and best friend, until exposure to Chemical X turned him into the Mad Scientist monkey we know of.
- Fuzzy Lumpkins is a foreigner-turned-Kapre.
- Bubbles averts the Rich Bitch trope, Princess plays it straight. The former is more about the prestige of being one of the last members of an ancient family in the Philippines, while the latter is more about Screw the Rules, I Have Money!.
- Bubbles' powers involve the water element, but later upgrades to Sonic Scream when influenced by Him, and then to Magic Music after Training from Hell with Makiling.
- Still haven't decided about Princess yet, but her Chemical X powers should revolve around money (maybe Humongous Mecha?) or psychic powers.
- I liked Blossom the most, though I fear I just made her overpowered. She looks like a female Archer with Unlimited Flame Works and abilities with the bow and the kali knife. She gains ice powers due to Him's influence, then discarded it in favor of Holy Hand Grenade after her training with Maria Cacao.
- Buttercup, without a doubt, is the most badass girl in the show. As such, she's a melee specialist with Razor Wind and Sword Beams at her disposal. She turns into a female Berserker from Him's influence, but discards it for lightning powers after her training with Maria Sinukuan.
- The RRB... Now, I don't want to fall into the trap of writing them as shipping material for the PPG, but everyone wants a good ship so...
- HIM should be the Final Boss of the show, an ancient evil that can only be defeated with equally ancient powers. He's powered by evil, so any negative thoughts would actually make him more powerful. So really, the only thing that can defeat him is a positive disposition.
@Philippine cinema Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles was the biggest thing for a while, as it's the first green screen film in the Philippines. I actually found a Philippine version of Left 4 Dead awesome, and Tiktik delivered just that vibe to me, though there are actually accusations of it being a rip-off of Spartacus, but who the hell has ever watched Spartacus, anyway?
While the PPG as a Fighter, Mage, Thief trio definitely works, I wanted to play a better Sword and Sorcerer dynamic between Bubbles and Buttercup while Blossom ends up as a Magic Knight.
So, what do you think?
"Just begun"? Are you sure?
Seriously, though, I though it's been a while already.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Yeah, it's actually been a while. This one is the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.
I am just gonna do this quick.
Even though I revised/edited my story (yet again, I could stick with dimensional villains.
For starters:
- Their name I will derive from the Latin word of usurper, cuz it sounds cool
- Their [1] may or may not have a motif of a mix of steampunk, Victorian/Frankenstein-esque technology and futiristic
- The Big Bad used to be powerful, but now exerted a lot of energy to drastically weaken the Mechanical Lifeforms before the story began
- They are composed of:
- a warrior who is fanatically loyal towards the Big Bad yet doesn't do or fight, kinda like the Leo Zodiarts and/or Damaras
- a Dark Action Girl who is prone to wearing disguises, who spends more time on Earth to spy and have fun, may or may not be Axe-Crazy
- a somewhat older looking but nonetheless good looking lady who acts as a strategist and is in charge of of making MOTWs
- a robot who looks after the weakened Big Bad, pilots the Supervillain Lair and is in charge of making Mecha-Mooks, yet is unnaturally calm

Good evening to you all! I pity the child... Who's the psychotic fuck that killed him?
The Southpaw has no brakes!okay, time to talk about One-Winged Angel
Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger had mecha vs mecha insted of mecha versus giant monster
Tokumei Sentai Gobusters had mecha vs mecha with motw parts
If my version of One-Winged Angel involved the Monster of the Week using a Transformation Trinket to turn into giants with altered designs/looks, new powers and weapons, would it be any different to the Super Sentai version?

There's this superstorm headed for the PI in a few hours...
Hate to say this, but:
Brace yourselves, a foul storm is coming.
The Southpaw has no brakes!Hey. I live somewhere in the deep, deep and dark and scary jungle that is called Mindanao.
The rain started hours ago here. Currently it's only moderately strong, and there's more wind than rain. Here's to hoping that it stays that way.
To the waking world I say,"Aha!"I have friends and family in Cebu and Bohol, my home provinces, so even if I'm now Manila-based... Yeah.

Sidestep that, bro.And a happy New Year!
To the waking world I say,"Aha!"um. 16 year-old from Marikina here. i've been lurking for a while now... just wanted to say hi.
so much to do, and yet... here, it feels like one cannot do anything but lie here and sleep forever.
strangely I think I am trying to picture him like a hero BUT he is trying to hide his coldhearted socioapthic self as much as possible whose attitude is seemingly reminescent of Sentai Sixth Rangers, cause a hero needs to be a positive role model and he has a small phobia of being a Scrappy through experience
