So, as a counterpoint to the other thread, this is where we talk about entries that we find incredibly amusing and intelligent. To start us out, I present the entirety of Real Life, which had me cracking up when I first read it.

I like how the Griefer page had to be locked, but not before three examples were added. What a sad page.

From Compound-Interest Time Travel Gambit (emphasis mine):

A strange case of banking and time travel is possible in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Link has the ability to rewind time 72 hours before a certain point in-game time, and predictably, when he rewinds time he loses all of the money he accumulated during that 3-day period. Fortunately for Link, the hub city's bank is apparently temporally insured, since the banker stamps Link's account balance on his hand, and this stamp never fades or disappears with the rewinding of time. Realistically, this should mean the complete destabilization of the city's economy, since the money deposited at the end of the 3-day cycle technically does not exist at the beginning of the cycle, but most people are probably more worried about the moon falling out of orbit than they are about time-travel based banking scams.

[up] That saving system was way too weird for me to wrap my head around, but I immediately understood the Fridge Logic behind that banking system. I could not have said it better myself. [lol]

Certain Nemesis Uruk names can invoke this as well, with certain Fail O'Suckyname selections.

From Comic Books:

Alternatively, Mysterio, the trickster, as the Evil Genius and Vulture, an old geezer with the terrifying power of flying, as the Dark Chick.

Someone has an excellent sense of sarcasm.

OK, Too Spicy For Yog Sogoth gave me quite an interesting mental image. Picture Cthulhu picking up a guy and popping the poor schmuck into his mouth. Then immediately after his eyes grow wide. Suddenly a tea kettle noise sounds off and the creatures eyes turn bloodshot red, the images of mushroom clouds form in them, and he spits them out with Blazing Hellfire Inferno Sauce visuals. The guy gets up, dusts himself off, and simply shrugs in indifference as Cthulhu searches for the nearest body of water, while howling "OHGODWHYITBURNS!!!"

On The Score, I really want to imagine a stuffy college professor throwing this out there in the middle of a lecture:

  • Diner Brawl: In a skit before "Fu-Gee-La" a Chinese restaurant owner starts a fight with two men whom he suspects to be "bitch-ass niggers".

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.

I found this on Doctor Who's Radar page:

When Tom Baker appeared in-character on Swap Shop (in a special feature available on the "The Hand of Fear" DVD), he managed to sneak one in while being interviewed by a caller who kept stammering:

Child: How big... how long... how big is your...!

Tom Baker: (glances up towards the camera with a shocked and offended expression)

Child: ...Police Box on the inside...

I laughed so hard.
