It's Over Anakin, I have the high ground!Mario is brought back to life through an unholy Toad ritual to defeat a cybernetically modified Bowser who captures citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom and mutates them into his unwilling servants. The major plot twist is that Bowser himself is a brainwashed minion of Luigi, who previously killed Mario out of envy and decided to become the new ruler of the land. Also Peach isn't really a useless Dumb Blonde but acts like one to repress the memories of her parents dying at the hands of Bowser.
