  • A couple of MST3K memes have migrated into Transformers thanks to the Wiki, notably Dull Surprise.
  • Every caption for the Micron Gul was a quote from Gul Dukat. Since the name change to Guru, all the captions are references to The Love Guru... or so the first caption on top of the page claims, only for the subsequent captions being all references to a completely different Mike Myers movie, with the final one being just "We haven't actually seen The Love Guru, sorry".
  • The caption for the Micron Gob is "I've made a huge mistake."
  • The first image caption for Venus Frogtrap says "Feed me, Krelborn, feed me now!"
  • The caption for the Appliancebots quotes a song ("It's A B-Movie Show") from The Brave Little Toaster.
    • All of the image captions for the page on the Terrorcons also quote "It's A B-Movie Show"
    • And as long as we're on the topic of The Brave Little Toaster, the caption for the Techie Team quotes "Cutting Edge"

  • Likewise, all of Kup's captions are quotes from Grampa Simpson, due to Kup's reputation for telling stories about the olden days of the Cybertronian war.
  • On the page for the Circle of Light, every caption has a snippet of lyrics from "the Circle of Life".

  • The caption for Fall Guy (his name already being a reference) mentions that he has since been replaced by "very sus crewmates".
  • The image captions for “Thirst” are lifted from the works of Peter Chimaera, in particular the Trope Namer for And Then John Was a Zombie.
  • Batter Splatter’s first caption reads “I can show you the whirl…”
  • Chitter Click’s says “I am perfect and you will quote everything I say”.
  • The image caption for the Appliancebot known as Dickbot the blender guy quotes The Lonely Island's "Dick In A Box".
  • Ring-a-Ling’s captions all reference the One Ring.
  • Calamity Keys has two separate caption shout-outs- the one for the page image says “That's piano! Ah said pianee!”, while one for a picture of the toy quotes Calamity Jane.
    • The other piano-based BotBot, Grampiano, also gets a double one: The page image quotes The 5,000 Fingers Of Dr. T, while a caption further down asks her to “Sing us a song, Grampiano ma’am”.

  • There are two different transformers named "Servo", and both of their pages contain references to Mystery Science Theater 3000

  • Pink Key Pop’s top caption quotes “This song’s gonna get stuck inside your head!”.
  • The caption for Data Dump contains a rather recognizable “You twit”
  • The page captions on Glam Glare Fancy Flare quote the memetic line of “I love lamp”
  • Raddhaxx’s caption calls him “a computery guy.”
  • Dizzy Bones’s page image calls him “Not-So-Grim Fandango”, while a caption further down the page says that “Ironically, he’s not a fan of Bone Machine.”
  • The main caption for the episode "Too Many Kades" of Rescue Bots is a modified version of the "Too Many Cooks" theme song.
  • The captions for each of the Transformers movies are based on different films. The Transformers: The Movie uses quotes from A New Hope, Transformers (2007) quotes the 80's movie, Revenge of the Fallen quotes The Empire Strikes Back, Dark of the Moon quotes The Wrath of Khan, Age of Extinction quotes Jurassic Park, The Last Knight quotes Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Bumblebee quotes Bee Movie.
    • In a variation, Rise of the Beasts quotes the first episode of Beast Wars. The upcoming Transformers One movie has its page all set and ready to go with quotes taken from Robots.
  • Some characters have captions referencing the voice actors. Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime (Judd Nelson): John Bender, Yoketron (George Takei): Sulu, Hound (John Goodman): Walter Sobchak, Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy): not only Spock, but Star Trek in general, Daytrader (Steve Buscemi): Randall Boggs, Donny and Lenny Wosniak; Nitro Zeus (John DiMaggio): Motor Ed, and Wreck-Gar has "Weird Al" Yankovic lyrics.
  • The page for the G1 cartoon episode, "A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court" uses quotes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail to caption all but the last photo.
  • The image captions on the page for the cynical Riptide are all snippets of lyrics from Vance Joy's hit single Riptide ^note Even better is how it referenced a common mondegreen from the song.
  • The caption for Issue 21 of Optimus Prime is literally the phrase "Borat Voice My Wife".
  • The Dyson Vacuum Appliancebot's caption reads "James Dyson's Punch Out"
  • ROTF Ravage's captions are filled with references to other fictional cats, including Garfield, Felix the Cat, The Cat in the Hat, and The Cat Returns.
  • All of the captions for Fall of Cybertron are quotes from Fallout 3.
  • For the all-female combiner Victorion, the Torchbearers who form her and the issue of Combiner Hunters she debuted in, they're quoting Steven Universe quotes relating to the Gem's Fusion Dance for the former, and the theme song for the latter two (especially considering how the trio of female Cybertronians in the story - Arcee, Chromia and Windblade - roughly correspond to the Gems).
  • The various Breakaways all use the lyrics of "Breakaway".
  • The top image for Professor Princess from Transformers: Animated is captioned, "I'll get those Powerpuff Girls!"
  • The caption for the page image of Sideways has a Spongebob Squarepants reference, specifically to "Opposite Day": "He's Sideways! He's Sideways! You're Sideways! I'm Sideways! Are there any other Sidewayses I should know about?"
  • Several times on Optimus Prime's IDW continuity page, or at least the segment about his time as Orion Pax, quotes are used from Hot Fuzz (on account of his past as Orion Pax).
  • The Tomboy character Hank from the 2015 Robots in Disguise wants to sell propane and propane accessories when she grows up.
  • Autobot Spike's captions (save one) are all about Young Frankenstein, to go with the episode's Frankenstein references.
  • Sentinel Prime's IDW comics section eventually all became quotes of Richard Nixon's Head from Futurama.
  • Megatronia's page shows just how the wiki feels about the character by having the captions paraphrase My Immortal.
  • One of Blurr's captions on his G1 continuity page reads "I'm faster than Tom Kennedy on Split Second (1972) and ''Whew!! I could beat the Gauntlet of Villains in less than 30 seconds!"
  • All of Action Man's image captions are taken from "Ashes to Ashes"^note His predecessor's last words to him before Passing the Torch by Heroic Sacrifice is Waxing Lyrical from that song; Baron Karza, meanwhile, gets Dark Helmet captions on TFwiki and Darth Vader captions on the IDW wiki, and Rom gets Buzz Lightyear ones. Garrison Kreiger, meanwhile, gets Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
  • Nearly all of the pictures on RID!Fracture's page contain quotes from Handsome Jack as captions.
  • For his appearances in Robots in Disguise, Starscream's captions tend to quote DBZA Freeza.
  • Horri-Bull's page has quotes from Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
  • The Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) episode "Portals" has quotes from Portal 2. Appropriate, as they both involve the return of a homicidal robot from the previous installment.
  • Micronus Prime's top image caption wonders, given the Pokemon-ish nature the Mini-Cons got during the trilogy, if said nature makes Micronus Arceus. Micronus is by nature, being a Prime, also the first Mini-Con.
  • There's a planet named Garrus-9. Naturally, the captions mention calibrating.
  • The Jointron Brothers page lets readers know exactly what they're in for by starting off with a Speedy Gonzales quote.
  • Trickdiamond has the caption "Boop boop desu wa!", a robotic corruption of "Buu buu desu wa!" ("Wrong and wrong again!"), the catchphrase of a certain Dia Kurosawa. (That being said, Trickdiamond has a card suit Theme Naming with her fellow teammates, while for those not keeping tabs on the Love Live franchise, Dia Kurosawa has a Rock Theme Naming with her little sister Ruby.)
  • All the image captions on the page of the Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) incarnation of Ped are quotes for Mandark, since he and Ped are both voiced by Eddie Deezen.
  • The caption for the picture of Michael Dorn's page as well the Titans Return section of Fortress Maximus's page, centers Dorn being spoofed back on the South Park episode, Fun with Veal.
    • Speaking of South Park, Fortress Maximus also had a caption from a lyric of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's student musical, Cannibal! The Musical.
  • Hot Rod's page from The Last Knight references two fictional French characters in addition to having "French" styled quotes from The Transformers: The Movie. In addition, his main image caption quotes Hamilton, specifically Lafayette's lines from Aaron Burr, Sir.
  • Both pages of Oilmaster and Optimus Primal's Beast Machines toys quotes lyrics from "Monkey vs. Robot" by James Kochalka Superstar.

  • Every entry for every chapter of "The Dying of the Light" story arc from The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye has at least one image captioned by lyrics from the soundtrack to Hamilton ^note it used to be virtually all of them besides the main images which reference Zulu, the main inspiration of the arc, but with the reshuffling of various images and captions, the Hamilton monopoly ended, as Hamilton really took off in 2016, the same year Dying of the Light was released.
  • All captions for the live-action movie character Crowbar are quotes from Kro-Bar from The Lost Skeleton Of Cadavra.
  • Starting with the page for the episode "Graduation Exercises", image captions for Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) began developing a habit of using quotes from Dragon Ball Z Abridged through the end of Season 2.^note of RiD, not DBZA
    • The last episodes of Robots in Disguise use quotes from Revenge of the Sith, The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi.
  • Much like the image caption for the page for it on this very site, the page for The Transformers: Unicron and its issues features quotes from Avengers: Infinity War as image captions, since both stories are the defining Crisis Crossover stories of their franchise released in 2018 (and both are Series Fauxnales as their plots are concluded in Optimus Prime #25 and Avengers: Endgame, respectively).
  • All the captions for the G1 incarnation of Tidal Wave quote TheStolken's Duff McWhalen video.
  • The captions for the Beast Wars episode "Double Jeopardy" quote Saturday Night Live's "Celebrity Jeopardy" sketches.
  • Before it was deleted^note The page was created over a fan mistranslation of the 80's G1 manga, which was the only available version for a while. When Viz Media published an official, accurate translation, the page was promptly deleted., "Decepticon super science" gave us:

  • One caption for Darth Vader's page reads "I clapped when I saw DARTH VADER!"
  • The reason Shane McCarthy's photo has not been updated in years is because his appearance in said photo bears an uncanny resemblance to Richard Hammond. This lets them have a Top Gear related caption in his article.
    Caption: Tonight on Top Gear, Richard Hammond will drive a jet-powered dragster and a comic franchise into the ground.
  • The episode "B.O.T." has a man who looks a lot like Luigi. Thus, a picture of him is captioned:
    Giant turtles out to get him, creepy crabs are right behind.
  • After getting the trademark-friendly name "Shrute", Hairsplitter's captions became modified Dwight Schrute quotes.
  • The toys section for the Ghostbusters page contains positive captions centering the hype of the long awaited sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
  • Prime Skyquake's captions are Heavy quotes.
    • The aptly named Dispensor has for his toy caption: "POOTIS POOTIS POOTIS".
  • Ejector, the transformer who turns into a toaster, gets his main image captioned "Howdey-Doodley-Do"
  • The Beast Machines episode Master of the House has all of its images captioned with lyrics from the Les Misérables song of the same name.
  • All but one of the jungle planet Eukaris' images are captioned with lyrics from “Tarzan Boy”.
  • At least half of the image captions on Generation 1 Bonecrusher's page quote the infamous Batman story "The Joker's Comedy of Errors".
  • The image captions for Obsidian's toys reference the second BIONICLE film, Legends of Metru Nui. Probably because his design and color scheme bring to mind Nidhiki, one of the antagonists of that film.
    • One of the image captions on Generation 1 Ultra Magnus's IDW page is the phrase "Clean it all, it must be cleaned", the mantra of the Bohrok from said franchise's second year.
  • On his toys page, at least two of Generation 1 Jetfire's image captions are plays on the song Faith is for the Transient People.
    • Similarly, one of the image captions on the page for Space Bridge asks if the Space Bridge can be set to go to Gensokyo.
  • Rescue Bot Academy Whirl's image captions were originally Tiny Tina quotes (in a nod to her IDW namesake), before they were replaced with the more relevant (and age-appropriate) Harold the Helicopter.
  • Owing to their reputation within the fandom, the image captions for the various Runabouts and Runamucks, along with the articles for the Battlechargers and their spotlight Marvel story, are filled with quotes from Beavis and Butt-Head. For reference sake, Runabout is (usually) Butt-Head and Runamuck is (usually) Beavis.
  • The caption for the Shattered Glass version of Ark says the motto of MetsubouJinrai.net from Kamen Rider Zero-One, which is fitting considering both of those works involve the launch of a satellite named Ark.
  • Some of the captions for Tyrannocon Rex and JP93 from the Collaborative crossover with Jurassic Park are lyrics from "Weird Al" Yankovic's "Jurassic Park" parody.
  • The page for the Cyberverse version of Blurr is primarily filled with references to the 91st Strong Bad Email "caffeine". But this caption takes the cake.

  • The image captions on Generation 1 Hosehead's page are all quotes from Strange Brew.
  • Most of the captions on Rise of the Beasts Optimus Primal's page are references to Donkey Kong, mainly via quotes from the DK Rap but also referencing the Donkey Kong Country cartoon and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

• The page for the "Pirates" category opens with:

• Break, a Maximal Penguin who shares a voice actor and style of voice with a famous ninja named Naruto BELIEVE IT!.
• Mr Rice Guy’s page description says “There’s no more Mr. Rice Guy”
• The page for G1's Big Shot has a couple of references to a certain salesman with a love of being a [[BIG SHOT]]. A screencap of the character in Transformers Trading Card Game (referred to as "Top Shot") has "KRIS, YOU [LITTLE SPONGE]," and the Random Page button for his page has "NOW'S YOUR CHANCE!" instead of the usual "GO!".
  • An image caption on the page for Bankshot says "NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A [[BANK SHOT]]"
• All of the captions for toys of Cobra Commander are quotes from Blue Laser Commander from Cheat Commandos, Homestar Runner's parody of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. For those keeping track at home, that's a Transformers fan wiki, using Homestar Runner jokes which make fun of G.I. Joe, to make jokes about an official character that is clearly meant to be an iconic G.I. Joe antagonist.
• The caption for the Earth Federation states that it "Does not possess Gundams".
• The caption for Jetfire's image on the Void Rivals issue #1 page and the Energon Universe section of Jetfire's page have captions reading "I have to go now. My planet needs me." and "Note: Jetfire died on the way back to his home planet." respectfully.
