Owl House: The Lost Archives

  • This is an anthology hosted by Tinella Nosa, and it tells of a few characters each with a story of her own about adventures they had and with unanswered questions about them.

Drabbles Of Writing

  • Recommended by: HarryP22h
  • Drabbles of Writing has written multiple AU fics for the Owl House Fandom, most notable of which is the Four Years AU, where it takes Luz much longer than expected to find a way back to the Human World, while she and the rest of the cast grow up together in the Boiling Isles. A Slice of Life AU with angst and humour galore, it has received consistent updates and ratings. The other AU fics are also fun to read.

Moring Mark

  • Recommended by: Awesomo3000
  • Known for creating the Witches Among Humans AU series, he has also released multiple AU Owl House fan comics on his Tumblr page and some exclusive ones on his Reddit account, all scenarios ranging from hilarious to sad to heartmeltingly adorable. The writing for the characters and the comedy is so authentic, each comic feels like it was plucked right out of the show itself. There's plenty here for Lumity shippers too.

Tree of Light by Miki_13

  • Recommended by Lord YAM
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: She was the Titan. The Isles were her and she was the Isles. And she divided time in two segments: the time where all could hear her if they cared to listen... and then the time he came.

The Owl House S1: Amity’s Plight By Jurnee Jakes.

  • Recommended by: OverlyActiveImagination
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Amity Blight is Hexside's top student. A teen witch of the highest degree, but her world starts to crumble when a human enters the picture. Soon the entire Boiling Isles is thrown into chaos and Amity must navigate new magic, emotions, and even what she thought was a secured future in both the family business and the Emperor's Coven. Retelling S1 of The Owl House from Amity's POV.
  • Comment: A very well-written and descriptive story focusing on Amity as she progresses through the events of the first season of the canon. The author expands on the setting of the Boiling Isles and fills in the gaps between Amity’s appearances in the episodes, adding in stories of her home life, school life, and social life as she grows as a character.
  • Part 2: Amity's Light - Everything in Amity's life has changed since Luz Noceda, a human, came to the Demon Realm. Her goals, her values, and even her loyalties have been tested. But there's a growing darkness on the Boiling Isles that will threaten everything that Amity knows and loves and send her and her new friends on an adventure she had only ever imagined. (Ongoing)

  • Comments: Acts as an incredibly accurate prediction of how Luz would react to Amity kissing her and how Eda would support her, wanting to see Luz happy.

Love Duel Series by 77xfire

  • Recommended by: Crosshot & Shuffollower
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis:
    • Love Duel: When Amity's mother finds out that she's dating Luz, she forces her to cut ties with the human. This causes the youngest Blight to do something desperate. Meanwhile, Hunter gets a day off as a reward for his recent accomplishments, and tries spending it as a normal person, and not the Golden Guard. Takes place before "Yesterday's Lie".
    • Tomorrow's Truth: To Amity, Luz has been a major source of joy in her life. Someone who could make her smile no matter what was going on. But when Luz arrives at her door in the middle of the night in tears, Amity has to be the one to bring a smile back to her girlfriend's face. Sequel to Love Duel, takes place after "Yesterday's Lie".
  • Comments: Created as a way to fend off the hiatus of Season 2, the series explains in its own way how progress on the portal to the human realm goes, how Odalia would react to her daughter dating a human and how everyone reacts to Luz having to go home for good. Definitely eases the impatience from waiting for the show to return.
  • Now has a tropes page. Part of the Fourth Light Series.

The Girl from Earth by JL3017

  • Synopsis: Luz has been on the Boiling Isles for close to 4 months at this point. She's made a lot of friends, and has affected the Demon Realm in ways many would have never expected. This has led to an increased curiosity amongst many about Earth, and there is only one place to get high quality information! Join Luz and her friends as they learn about the human realm from everyone's favorite human! Includes fascinating topics such as cultural discussions, war, and religion as well as light-hearted topics such as video games, music, and memes. Oh god the memes. Oh and also Lumity, because how can you not have Lumity?
  • Comments: A wonderful fic where everyone on the Boiling Isles slowly find out just how different Earth is from their home, as well as how far behind they actually are.

Blight No More by TheBrcklayer

  • Recommended by SuperYoshiFan02
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Pride, that's what her name used to stand for. Until even that had been stripped from her. Thrown out into the cold, and she found herself on the doorstep of the Owl House. Or the one where Odaila disowns her youngest and Eda's all too happy to pick up the slack and give this poor girl a proper parental figure.
  • Comments: A fanfic where Amity becomes fully integrated into the Owl House crew earlier than in canon, with all the heartwarming moments and angst that come with that.

I'd Be Your Memory by the_sentient_duck

  • Recommended by SuperYoshiFan02
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Camila is adamant that Luz cannot return to the Isles. But Luz has a secret weapon: her and her friends’ memories of her summer there, projected onto their TV with Gus’s illusion magic and Adrian’s mirror. Will it be enough to change Camila’s mind?
  • Comments: A "Let's Watch Our Show" Plot fic with a unique spin.

No Dejaré de Quererte by the_sentient_duck

  • Recommended by SuperYoshiFan02

  • Comments: A nice fic where everyone on the Boiling Isles gets to reunite with their deceased loved ones, for better or worse.

Kikimora's Best Self by SilverlockSmith

  • Recommended by ScroogeMacDuck
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Synopsis: Destiny on the Boiling Isles takes a sharp left turn when Kikimora, Emperor Belos's neurotic and much-disrespected Personal Assistant, is accidentally granted a vision of the future. She never asked for this. Really, she didn't. But if the choice is between death by Draining Spell and allying with the Owl Lady, she'll just have to grin and bear it… a.k.a. the Kikimora redemption fic no one else got around to writing. I like a challenge.
  • Comments: A fast-updating, plot-focused fic with a great handle on all canon characters' characterization, cool worldbuilding that adds depths to the Isles while feeling like it fits in with canon, and a clever canon divergence at the end of Season 1 which avoids The Stations of the Canon, but still manages to clever integrate plot points from Season 2. (Some of the knock-on changes, like Eda and Lilith switching bodies instead of switching the cruse, so that Lilith is currently stuck as the Owlbeast would honestly be worthy points of departure in their own right.)

Be Here When I Wake? by genVicron

  • Recommended by ScroogeMacDuck
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: The Collector never really stopped referring to mortals as spiders, he just swapped the "ew" for "aww." It took King far too long to really understand what that meant. How much more time he had just didn't feel normal yet.
  • Comments: A wonderfully bitter-sweet post-canon look at how King grapples with his insanely long lifespan and slowly outliving his family — adding the idea that adult Titans hibernate for years at a time for extra angst as he fears even missing the chance to say goodbye to Luz. Really breaks your heart in Chapter 1. But stick around for Chapter 2… you just might get that heart fixed.

An Exercise In Understanding by Lollytea

A Hybrid She Remained by Zomble

  • Recommended by: ghidorahultima

  • Synopsis: Luz, instead of returning to her human form after defeating Belos, remains a Titan hybrid. This fic talks about how she deals with it and the inevitable dysphoria from having her body changed completely.

Dear Jehovah by GayAngst4TheSoul

  • Recommended by: ghidorahultima
  • Status: In-Progress
  • Synopsis: Moving to Connecticut presented new experiences, conflict, and self-discovery that was unforeseeable for the devoutly religious Blight family unit. The personal discovery of Amity's potential homosexuality stirs internal conflict as she grapples with her feelings against the backdrop of deeply ingrained homophobia. The struggle is not merely about self-acceptance but also about reconciling a newfound understanding of her sexuality with the teachings she grew up with. TLDR; The Blight family slowly find themselves outside the cult they grew up in. Written and told from the perspective of unrealistically detailed diary entries.
  • Notes: Although just a few chapters in, this is quite a good fic. Nice use of the modern AU, and all the characters feel in-character, especially Amity. More than worth your while.

Welcome To The Family Jewels by The Nug King

  • Recommended by: Urbenmyth
  • Status: Complete, sequel fics ongoing (and accessible from the link)
  • Synopsis: Father stares down at her in pure disdain. “Thank you, Odalia. But I see little use for a half-witch Oracle who can’t even predict an imminent tragedy. The Blight family have run a successful abomination business for generations. Without any talent for abomination magic, Odalia struggles to make a place for herself. To the misfortune of everyone around her.
  • A tragic character study of the most hated woman in the Boiling Isles, detailing Odalia Blight's moral descent with genuine sympathy but without ever excusing any of her actions. Strongly recommended.

    Alternate Universe
The characters are written into a different world/universe than the one they are typically from.

A Treason of Thorns by legionworldproject

Hunter then wakes up in a strange future without any memories of the previous seven years, and he is now in an arranged marriage with Amity and Luz is being held prisoner. He embarks on a quest to overthrow Belos once more and begin a new age.

The Silent Stars Go By by Alkrolyd

  • Recommended by Troper Mashup
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: A post-apocalyptic future fic set in the Boiling Isles, in a world where several catastrophes over the course of (presumably) centuries have rendered almost all life extinct aside from Hunter, immortal due to his Grimwalker status, and horrific magical creatures that hunt him down. Flashbacks reveal that King was captured and experimented on by an organisation known as the Faction Parallax, corrupting his mind. He used his newfound ability to create life-forms from magic to create an array of monsters known as the Horde of Tragedies, which proceeded to overrun the Demon Realm.
  • Tags: Gen Fic, Dark Fic, Flash Forward Fic, blood, gore, angst, violence, Tragedy, Thriller, Mystery, Strong language and descriptions of a physical disability. It also has a Recursive Fanfiction in the form of the fic Beneath the Shrieking Sea, though the latter has questionable canonicity with regards to the original story. It also has a prequel written by the same author, The Long Night of Solace.

The Long Night of Solace by Alkrolyd

  • Recommended by Troper Mashup
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: A prequel to the Silent Stars Go By, this fic takes place around six years following an event known as “the First Cataclysm”, which began the apocalypse that the former presents. It follows Luz and Hunter as they travel to Eclipse Lake in search of some kind of deterrent to the “Arcanomorphs”, creatures created by King that absorb magic.
  • Tags: Gen Fic, Dark Fic, Flash Forward Fic, angst, hurt/comfort, Tragedy, violence, strong language, panic attacks and an overall depressing tone.

The Good Witch by coffee666

  • Recommended by TheArcher
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Luz Noceda was a normal high school freshman by day, but by night, she was the creator of the webcomic "The Good Witch Azura" Luz's comic was fairly popular, but it wasn't until she saw her rival, Amity Blight, wearing a fan made Azura t-shirt that Luz realized just how special her comic was.

The Sky Pirate's Magical Odyssey by FoxOnPie

  • Recommended by RutherfordDingo
  • Status: Dead
  • Synopsis: Luz Noceda was a young inventor who always had her head in the clouds, even for a third-rate sky pirate. Nothing she did in her world could get people to appreciate her inventions, but maybe she'd be able to get some recognition in a world that, oddly enough, was the exact opposite of her own. Owl House with sort-of steampunk!Luz.
  • Pairings: Luz/Amity, Emira/Viney
  • Comments: The story takes the original show and adds an element of Magic Versus Science to it by having Luz be a Gadgeteer Genius from a steampunk world, and it works surprisingly well. Luz's original problems still exist here, and the addition of her being a clumsy, one-armed inventor further add to the appeal of her character and the way she interacts with the setting.
  • Also on AO3.

Ghost Of You by RainbowJeff

  • Recommended by: RacattackForce
  • Status: Complete
  • Pairings: Amity/Luz
  • Synopsis: Luz found the Boiling Isles almost two years later. Amity is an anomaly, too powerful for her own good. Mistakes happen.
  • Comments: An odd, slightly macabre story that immediately begins with an older teenage Amity, who in this story has strong and difficult-to-control power, arguing with a likewise older Luz. Who Amity had killed minutes prior and must now deal with being haunted by until the duo can come to terms with the incident. More fluff that you'd expect ensues.

Emperor Belos: Great Dictator, Average Father by FoxOnPie (Links for AO3, and fanfiction.net)

  • Recommended by RutherfordDingo
  • Status: Dormant; last updated May 2021
  • Synopsis: Many people thought that a marriage between a human nurse and the almighty dictator of a magical world was doomed to fail. Well, Camilia Noceda and Emperor Belos got married despite the naysayers, and after eighteen years, they are still divorced. At least their daughter always has fun with them, whether as a regular face in the crowd or as the princess of the Boiling Isles.
  • Comments: The story takes the popular Fandom-Specific Plot of Emperor Belos being Luz's father and plays it completely for laughs, It's a borderline Crack Fic or Parody Fic, but it works so well because of the witty dialogue and the ridiculous situations the author puts the characters through.

Immortal Devotion by Rohad, Tripower

  • Recommended by SandwitchZebra
  • Status: Complete
  • Pairings: Amity/Luz, Boscha/Willow
  • Synopsis: The god of light, joy, and the summer sun, is an unusual choice for a warrior to pick for their patron god, and it isn't just other mortals who are curious about her reasoning.
  • Comments: Heavily inspired by Norse mythology, as many of the traditional characters are either the warriors of Boneshaven or the gods of legend, with Luz taking the role of Baldur (Baldur being her name given by mortals) and Amity being the jarl of Boneshaven, who dedicated her battles to Baldur before she got to know the god personally. Despite the fact that some characters are gods, they still have surprising depth, and even the non-god characters play a major part in the emotional beats of the story. Certain characters also have personality and familial overhauls. Trust is a heavy theme of the story. It is almost completely done, with a single chapter to go. All in all, come for the concept, stay for the feels and atmosphere.

Disney's The Owl House by MasterCaster

  • Recommended by Shoobedobah
  • Originally just a concept/franchise bible.
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Synopsis: Here's something I thought of involving what if Owl House debuted as a Disney film back in the 1990s? Here I describe how I think the movie's plot would've been like and the legacy that would follow.
  • Comments: Quite honestly I didn't know where to put this fic at first because it really didn't fit into most categories, but I figured Alternate Universe fit it best, even though it's an AU fic in a much more meta sense. I like the idea of Owl House being a full on traditional animated '90s Disney film, and I hope it causes more stuff like this to show up eventually. Love to see Amphibia get this treatment!

Learning How to Be a Princess by TheReal_LetsGetIt

  • Recommended by RacattackForce
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Synopsis: 14 Years ago, Camilia Noceda fell into a mysterious rip in Space-Time, falling through and into the Boiling Isles, specifically into the arms of Emperor Belos, changing history as we know it. Naturally, they fall in love and "consummate" their love on the last night Camila will be in the Isles before returning home. Finally, years later, Camila decides it's finally time for Luz to meet her Father. Join Luz as she learns how to be a witch and use magic but most importantly, Learn How To Be a Princess...
  • Comments: One of the more genuine explorations of the popular "Dad Belos" plot, the fic manages to deftly merge the episode ideas that the show has already presented with its own original building mythos. It's fun to see the rippling effect that Luz being a secret half-witch princess with phenomenal (and currently uncontrollable) magic power has on everything, as her new abilities have a tendency to make situations escalate more than they do in canon.
  • Has a tropes page.

Or, the Blight siblings end up at a conversion camp, and make a few friends along the way. If only there weren't so many old cat ladies determined to let them live life to its gayest. Fusion Fic with But I'm a Cheerleader.
  • Comments: Characters from The Owl House in a setting and plot inspired by But I'm a Cheerleader sounds like a weird combination, but works pretty well. Cute and funny AU with plenty of heartfelt moments, and a lot of canonical elements are worked into a magicless universe well.

Chasing after an owl that stole one of her only outlets from that life leads her to the Boiling Isles, where she’s pretty sure she’s forever lost her chance to be normal, but she supposes she can handle being weird instead. Or, a Swap Fic where Amity is the Human, and Luz is the Witch. Humor, drama, fluff, and a considerable amount of changes to the story as we know it.
  • Comments: The story depicts Amity as the opposite of Luz in the show: she speaks her mind, struggles to learn magic early on, and chose to stay with Eda permanently after running away from her family. Nevertheless, she's ecstatic to learn magic and even more so to finally be with people who accept the person she is.

HomeLuz AU by Swainart

  • Recommended by: The Witchfinder
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Synopsis: What if Luz grew up without a family?
  • Comments: This AU is actually based off the Darker and Edgier early concepts of The Owl House, down to the designs. For instance, Luz is a far older and far more cynical homeless Broken Bird unlike the peppy Genki Girl she is in canon. Amity is likewise older and has issue galore. Other characters have mostly minor changes, however (i.e. King is far more demonic-looking). Quite an invigorating read, and a nice glimspe into What Could Have Been.

  • Comments: This is an alternate take to what happens at the end of "King's Tide"/ the beginning of "Thanks to Them", revolving around Camila making the Hexsquad feel at home, Hunter making amends with his past by owning up to Vee, and Luz readjusting to life on Earth and preparing for her upcoming quinceañera. Plenty of comforting from everybody.

  • Synopsis: Young 10-year old Philip "Pip" Wittebane, suspicious that Caleb has been hanging out with the Witch Evelyn, secretly follows his older brother to the Boiling Isles... only to fall through a Time Pool that takes him to the present day, specifically The Owl House Season 2. After being rescued by Luz and taken to the Owl House, Pip vows to find Caleb in this strange new realm and return home. Will the Wittebane brothers ever reunite? And will Pip be able to overcome his prejudice against witches and demons? Or is he doomed to become the very thing he fears the most?

  • Comments: The webcomic's first chapter is fully dedicated to how Caleb and Evelyn first met, and how they created Flapjack together. It may not be the canonical version, due to occurring when all of them were much younger than what's implied, but it is sweet to see it might have gone. It also has the best depiction of Philip Wittebane as a young child. Not pure innocence, but also not pure evil either. He's the perfect balance of being sweet and a brat, and you will root for him to overcome his prejudices and avoid the Bad Future that would await him otherwise.

  • Comments: Full of intricate worldbuilding, breathtaking illustrations, well-researched medical facts, and immersive prose, this fic is perfect for those who want a different, slightly weirder take on Luz's arrival in the Boiling Isles.

  • Synopsis: Between picking up the pieces in the wake of the Day Of Unity and its aftermath, reconnecting with Raine, helping King come to terms with his newfound identity and being there for Luz as she navigates a life split between the Boiling Isles and Connecticut, Eda Clawthorne has a lot on her plate. Taking on another, seemingly-impossible project at this point, especially one that seems particularly ill-advised, is probably not the wisest decision. But then, Eda has never been one to take the easy path in life. And she made a promise. AKA - The one where Eda takes it upon herself to give The Collector a second chance, and faces the challenges that go along with it. Canon-divergent after King's Tide.
  • Pairings: Eda/Raine, Luz/Amity
  • Comments: An extremely well written fic that explores an alternate take on the events of season 3. Delivers both Hurt and Comfort masterfully. The extensive use of call-backs to the series is well done and creates a sense of continuity between everything. The characters are wonderfully portrayed, and their interactions feel true to the show. Special mention goes to The Collector themselves who the author manages to portray just as well despite having minimal information to work with as they drafted the fic before "Thanks to Them" aired.

Warning: Contains cursing and intense scenes.
  • Comments: It's the typical "OC main character with their own story" deal. It seems to blend The Fighter with The Wild Wind Warlock but if the protagonist was an Avatar. The story not only stands out for being completed (in a year, no less) but for its plot, making Viney a main character, and embracing Luz's Dominican heritage.

  • Synopsis: Luz Noceda is a fanfic writer and Witchchick128 is her biggest reader/commenter. Over the course of three years, they become online friends, battling Luz's real life loneliness, and even attempt to write a fanfic together.
Amity Blight is a fanfic reader, her favourite writer being GoodWitchLuzura, who just wants a real friend and to be able to be good enough to write her own fanfiction. Luckily, after three years, she has a best friend in Luzura, who's even helping her write a fanfic, together.
Simultaneously, Luz has to move across the country and go to a new school, and make new friends. As she expected, she manages to make a rival, this one being Amity Blight. So, she has to make her way through high school trying to avoid Amity (even while weirdly wanting to be friends with her) who is irritated with her enough to make it both of their problems.
Little do Luz and Amity know, their paths have already crossed...
  • Comments: A human AU that started out with a Secret Identity tone, it evolves into something more as it gives everyone some problems to deal with, King and Hunter having a Dark and Troubled Past before Eda adopted them, and touching on things like vitiligo and gender fluidity. The story is also responsible for inspiring the Boscha/Vee crack ship, of which a few stories about them were inspired by this one.

  • Comments: A story where a witch is adopted by humans and becomes friends with Luz and she discovers for about herself on the Boiling Isles, very cute. Cute fanfic where the main character is like Luz's little sister rather than a love interest. The concept of a baby witch accidentally being adopted by humans is very nice. • Synopsis: Luz Noceda is a spirited, energetic girl with a vibrant imagination and a cheerful attitude. Through her adventures on the Boiling Isles, she’s really come into her own as she strives to become a witch, make new friends, and follow her dreams so that she can live her best life. There’s been difficulties of course, but one can’t deny that she’s done very well for herself in this strange, sometimes scary new world where she can truly be herself. Luz Noceda is a quiet, somewhat withdrawn girl who nevertheless has a good heart and an earnest desire to improve herself. Her start at the Reality Check Summer Camp was unfortunately rather rough, but despite the bullying and lack of friends, she’s still managed to adapt very well, earning the adoration of camp counselors and finding happiness in change while still holding on to what makes her herself. But... wait. That doesn’t make sense. Luz could only choose one of those paths. Surely only one of them could possibly be the truth. ...Right?
  • Comments: A very intriguing fic with an interesting premise that hooks the reader into its main plot with a mystery right in the beginning. Makes creative use of Reality Check Summer Camp as a setting. While it is OC heavy due to the nature of the setting; they are all wonderful additions to the cast. Later chapters really make you feel for Lus.

Luz will find justice for Belos' nephew and be the best Golden Guard she can as she hunts down the villainous owl lady to take her portal to find a way home and bring about the day of unity.
Lilith would do everything in her power to get Hunter out of the castle after finding out the truth of the Grimwalkers and the day of unity, even reuniting with her sister and faking his death so the boy could be stashed away in the human realm. When Belos reveals Lucy, his newest Grimwalker, she must dedicate herself to protecting and caring for this child in any way she can when Belos places her under her tutelage.
Camila feels like a failure of a mother, her daughter running off into a storm into certain death rather than be with her. In her grief she finds her life forever changed by the new mysterious family that moved into the old house in the woods.

  • Comments: Starts off by slowly depicting Willow and Skara going from forced enemies to frenemies before becoming friends and being set up for something more.

Lumity Doing It (Right This Time) by Anonymous

  • Recommended by: The Nitpicking Troper
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Pairings: Amity/Luz (Aged-Up, 16/17)
  • Synopsis: Amity could have sworn she was dreaming; her Luz wanted to be intimate with her. The girl’s mind swirled at the thought of being looked at in that way, held, touched, caressed, teased, loved. She could swear she was about to swoon, when her brain yanked her back from the clouds. Had she really thought this through? It’s one thing to have a little fun alone, but with another person? With Luz, a human, nonetheless? Was she ready? (Or, after an accident, Luz and Amity decide to have their first time; it's as awkward and adorable as you'd expect.)
  • Comments: An ongoing series, starting with the titular fic. As the synopsis suggests, this is a smut/lemon series, but what really draws me in with each story (and keeps me coming back to them) is how true to their characters the author keeps both Amity and Luz; despite the more mature context, they're just as adorable and precious as a couple here as they are in canon, and there's plenty of humor and emotion (both light angst and fluff) to hook in readers who are equally interested (if not moreso) in reading a genuine and sweet love story rather than a pure smut fic. The author is also open to constructive criticism and suggestions for things to include in future stories, should you have any of either to offer.

Bard Luz by GoreMiser

  • Status Complete
  • Pairings: Luz/Skara, Boscha/Skara, Luz/Amity
  • Synopsis: (First Story) Turns out, the Boiling Isles has bullies just like the human realm. When feeling her lowest, Luz finds help in the strangest place.
  • Comments: Imagine what would've happened had Amity remained a bully by the time Luz enrolled in Hexside, then Luz fell for someone else. Though a short series, it shows some love to Skarluz which is very small in demand, but this author supports fully.

whatever this is, it isn't love by nikki

  • Recommended by: Troper
  • Status Complete
  • Pairings: Camila/Eda
  • Synopsis: It was supposed to be easy. They were supposed to have fun in the scant handful of hours Camila had between work and parenting Luz. There wasn't supposed to be any feelings. So why did Camila's heart race every time she thought of Eda?

This fic is based off of the author's "Camileda" comic created a year prior.
  • Comments: Really holds up to its tag of being "21% smut by volume": when the story doesn't focus on Camila's inability to say she loves Eda or her other relationships with family and friends, a good chunk of the story shows the various ways these two women physically show their affection. The fic can also count as an Alternate Universe Fic due to Luz's father being alive, divorced from Camila and they share joint custody over her.

Nothing Left Unsaid

  • Recommended by: Shuffollower
  • Status: Complete
  • Pairings: Luz/Amity
  • Synopsis: A collection of stories exploring Luz and Amity. From before they meet, to key moments that helped define their love for one another. Parts are written out of order, but are placed in the series chronologically.
    • Part 1: It All Feels The Same: Amity Blight, Hexside's top student and captain of the grudgby team, has a reputation for being calm, cool, and collected. But behind that mask lies a desire for connection, something beyond reach.
    • Part 2: An Otter (with a sad past): Luz Noceda, resident bundle of sunshine and goofball extraordinaire, is widely loved by her found family in the Boiling Isles. But behind that bright smile lies a dark past.
    • Part 3: Unspoken Words: “Oh my god!” Luz slapped her hands to her cheeks. “We’re dating! Why didn’t anyone TELL ME?!” She wailed.

Eda looked completely flabbergasted. She took a step back and then threw both hands forward.

      “HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW?!”

Or the one where Luz doesn’t realize she’s in a relationship with Amity until about a month later.
  • Comments: Giving an in-depth look on both Amity's friendship with Boscha and Skara & Luz's being bullied a year before the events of the series, the first two stories set up much of the drama in the third. We're shown just how insecure Luz can be in an altered beginning to her relationship with Amity and how far the Blight will go to keep her closest friend in ages by her side.

  • Synopsis: Luz and Amity do some smooching. Alternating POV each work/chapter, starting with Amity. Stories are not in chronological order, but are theoretically in the same continuity.
  • Comments: Each story shows Amity and Luz as they learn how to make each other happy as their relationship grows. A majority of them tend to include ear kisses due to the whole "witch ears being like cat ears" thing, also building on Luz's interest in paranormal romance.

  • Comments: I came across this fanfic by chance while I was browsing new arrivals, and it is quite simply one of the well-written fanfics of ANY fandom I've found online. The descriptions are vivid and transport you to this world, and the story, a Disney show by way of a police procedural, is intriguing. As of Chapter 2, the fanfic suddenly becomes one of the most incredible, edge-of-your seat suspenseful fan-works I've ever read. The connections to other fandoms start showing up, the mystery deepens, and major characters are actually, and mercilessly, Killed Off for Real. Suffice to say, only two chapters in and so far it's nothing short of fantastic. It really does feel like what would happen if Disney Television Animation did a TV-14 series.

It was only with the help of a magical artifact, some sort of portal, that allowed her to escape by transporting her to safety. But now she has to deal with another problem, where the Nine Hells was she?
  • Comments: An interesting idea that combines the show with the kind of stuff it normally makes fun of to a certain degree. Luz as a Wizard manages to be engaging while not straying too far off from her original character, and the early shake-ups from the show are very nice to see.

When her plans to take a relaxing trip and find herself are suddenly thwarted by an owl stealing her luggage and leading her to a fantasy world of Magic and Demons, she decides to stick around and become the first (mostly) human witch. After all, in a world of monsters, what's one more?
  • Comments: A truly marvelous idea that blends both universes well and, despite admitting alcohol was involved in its creation the Authors still do their best to have the story live up to expectations and given that this takes place before Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) we may get to see how some of the Boiling Isles residents react to Earth's Titans, also the story makes clever use of Luz's situation for some additional story arcs.

  • Comments: Despite being written in a script format and having some spelling and grammar errors, as well as a few minor plot holes, this fanfiction crossover is captivating to read. The narrative presents thrilling adventures, engaging action/fight scenes, endearing chemistry or relationships among the main protagonists and the characters, and compelling drama. What sets this fanfic crossover apart is its commitment to the original worlds' lore, skillfully blending them as the story unfolds and expanding upon them to create a unique storytelling experience.
