My Hero SCP

     Chapter 1: The Invincible Boy
  • Izuku and Katsuki's Establishing Character Moment, where they rescue a Quirkless kid from being bullied and Izuku tanks the leader's Shock System Quirk, revealing that he isn't Quirkless himself in this story, but rather has an impressive Healing Factor.
  • Shortly thereafter, the two friends charge at the bullies with their Quirks active. The result is compared to first a steamroller, then a freight train.
  • The introduction to Vigorshy, the first of the SCP-based heroes, as he teams up with Kamui Woods to take down a giant villain. Once Vigorshy confirms the villain's skin is thick enough that he can't be damaged easily, but would still feel pain, Vigorshy goes all out with his razor-sharp claws.
  • Izuku's Quirk shows that it's about more than just healing when he encounters the sludge villain. When the blob monster tries to invade Izuku's body, it reacts by sealing off his windpipe and esophagus, preventing the sludge villain from getting anywhere before All Might shows up.

Chapter 2: Dawn of a Hero
  • The sheer struggle between Elle-Ate and the sludge villain shows awesomeness on both sides, with Elle-Ate managing to hold the villain off Katsuki (while exposed to heat no less), and the sludge villain barely gaining any ground against her.
  • When we see how effective Foresight's Quirk is, you can tell she's much more badass than her SCP counterpart.
  • Izuku proves that he's not just brave, reckless, or confident in his Quirk (in fact, he later admits to All Might that he wasn't even thinking in regards to his Quirk). He's smart too, easily figuring out the sludge villain's weakness in his eyes and exploiting it using a makeshift slingshot.
  • Once All Might deals a powerful blow to the sludge villain, Elle-Ate follows up by launching her body to grab all the little pieces and re-contain them.

     Chapter 3: Training Days
  • Just the fact that Junko can navigate the cluttered Dagoba Beach. While blind no less!
  • Izuku quickly becomes more proficient in One For All than in canon. Not only does he learn Full Cowling much faster than canon, but he's able to control 12% of One For All by the time of the UA Entrance Exam.

     Chapter 4: The Practical Exam
  • Just before the practical for the entrance exam, Izuku berates Tenya for thinking the worst of everyone and even asking why he wants to be a hero. When Tenya replies that he hopes to do right by his family's legacy, Izuku counters that legacy means nothing at UA.
  • Tenya is blown away by how fast Izuku is as he races into the exam zone.
  • Unlike in canon where Izuku struggled and didn't even get a single villain point, here he dominates in both villain smashing and rescue work.
  • Yuga is no slouch either, actually working alongside Izuku to help save other examinees who got caught up in the wreckage of robots.
  • One For All hits singularity early, letting Midoriya awaken to Toshi's Maximize Quirk during the entrance exam, making it easy to wreck the zero-pointer to save Ochaco.
  • When Izuku gets his acceptance letter, it's revealed that he got the most points in both villain and rescue categories, making him the class valedictorian.

Chapter 5: First Day at UA
  • Gran Torino reveals something interesting, apparently One For All hit singularity even before it passed to Izuku, with All Might having awakened Danger Sense at some point in his career.
  • A small moment for Toru... She's actually visible! Seems in this universe she has full control of her Quirk, letting her appear and disappear at will.
  • During the Quirk Assessment Test, Midoriya is asked to demonstrate with the ball throw... And easily shows how well he's improved in his control of One For All, sending the ball flying (with a shockwave to boot) over 700 meters away. It's enough to impress even Aizawa.
  • Izuku continues to dominate in the tests, a far cry from the problems he had in canon. From acing the 50-meter dash, to showing a grip strength of 560 kilograms, to flying over the standing long jump.
  • The others students are no slouches in this regard, showing off not only impressive physical capabilities but just how well they can control their Quirks. Even Yuga shows little of the discomfort his Quirk gave him in canon.
  • Since Aizawa doesn't erase Izuku's Quirk like he did in canon, he instead finds out about Aizawa's identity through a bottle of eye drops, and uses that combined with his intellect and knowledge of heroes to deduce that Aizawa is Eraser Head.

Chapter 6: Into the Mind of a Villain
  • Once again Aizawa uses his Quirk to break up a fight between two students, stopping Katsuki and Shoto from beating each other up, then giving a lecture on how violence in school is only permitted during mock battles.
  • Despite winding up in last place on the test, Minoru scores decently enough that Aizawa chooses not to expel him, since he shows obvious potential for growth.
  • Tenya confirms that he had taken the recommendation exam but failed, only to succeed using the normal entrance exam, which is arguably tougher.
  • When Yuga showcases his costume, he shows some insight by stating that his cape was designed to be easily removable in case it got snagged, having researched enough to know such a feature was necessary if he wanted such flair.
  • During the mock battles, Katsuki gives Tenya a run-down on just how powerful Izuku's Regeneration is, then states that Tenya is no match for him before going off to try and hold Izuku on the lower floors.
  • Just as Izuku and Ochaco are coming up with their strategy, Izuku senses something and instinctively dodges Katsuki's opening attack. All Might notes this behavior is abnormal for someone who can heal rapidly and realizes Izuku has awakened Danger Sense.

Chapter 7: Unstoppable Force, Immovable Object
  • As Yuga points out, the title of the chapter really sums up this first fight between Izuku and Katsuki.
  • Izuku makes good use of Confusion Fu, fighting Katsuki so effectively that he doesn't know his position relative to Tenya, making it unlikely the latter will get to him before Ochaco will get to the simulated nuke.
  • A flashback shows that in the friends' youth, Izuku tried to help Katsuki out of a deep ravine, breaking his ankle in the process. However, by this time Izuku's Quirk had kicked in and healed it before Izuku could realize, making him think it was just a sprain.
  • Katsuki still uses his special grenades to enhance his explosions against Izuku, not as a "punishment" for "lying" his way into UA, but more as a Desperation Attack to try and keep Izuku out of the simulated villain hideout while he goes to support Tenya against Ochaco.
  • Izuku makes a bold play of his own, using Katsuki's own attack to hide his escape and capture him.
  • Despite Tenya having removed any loose objects in the room with the nuke, Ochaco still makes use of her Quirk to battle him... By taking off her helmet and having that be affected by her Quirk as a make-shift projectile.
  • Izuku and Ochaco make a controlled Tag Team play to secure the nuke, with Izuku using his Super-Strength to knock down a support pillar from outside the building, which Ochaco picks up using her Quirk to clear Tenya out of the way while avoiding getting the nuke in the crossfire.

Chapter 8: Class 1-A, This is the Starting Line
  • Izuku's stalking of Katsuki during the mock battle is compared to a Mook Horror Show by Mashirao.
  • Instead of Tenya like canon, it's Ochaco who gets the MVP of the battle for her quick thinking and ingenuity.
  • Momo picks up on the fact that Izuku was coaching Ochaco into taking the mock battle seriously just by how she aimed her final attack at Tenya, something even All Might missed.
  • Shoto makes good use of his Quirk and actual teamwork with Mezo to win his mock battle, impressing even Katsuki.
  • An off-screen one for All For One, but his very evil is enough to frighten even Serpenshia, who is otherwise The Dreaded among villains for the hypnotic aspect of his Quirk.
  • During the scene introducing Shigaraki, we also get to see a new figure, later revealed to be Sliming Sadist, one of the Crimson Children and half-brother to All For One. And he immediately shoots down the ideology All For One has instilled in Shigaraki in an effective manner.

     Chapter 9: The Class Representative
  • Foresight winds up as a spanner in Shigaraki's planned invasion of the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, having a vision of the attack just from looking at a photo.
  • When voting for class representative, Izuku gets five votes in this story! Two more than canon. He then vindicates the decision when Danger Sense picks up on the UA infiltration and is the one to get the entire cafeteria into order, rather than Tenya like canon.
  • While Death Arms is introduced as the first Quirkless hero in this story (unlike canon where he had a Super-Strength Quirk), he's still very much a hero who let's his Object of Power do most of the work. Agent of J shows just how effective a Quirkless hero can be without using superpowers, instead relying on the lessons of her digital teacher, Miss J.
  • An off-screen one for new hero Mechacain, who already put his Quirk to use against Habit Headgear, disabling one of his arms through the effect of Pain Return.
  • During the fight with Habit Headgear, we get to see Endo Hound's Quirk, Amnestic Breath, in action. And it proves to be very effective at dealing with the villain.
  • As Shigaraki is planning his attack on the USJ, the second of the Crimson Children, Stranglehold, makes herself known, as well as showing where she got her code name when she gets Shigaraki's attention to berate him for thinking of life like a video game.
  • Their half-brothers Banananasher and Heart Piercer are also there, and the fact that Kurogiri knows them all by name shows just how infamous the four of them are in the underworld.

     Chapter 10: Proving Yourself
  • When the proto-League of Villains makes its debut in the USJ, Aizawa is not impressed. After all, this time he has backup.
  • Even better, while then-member Tesla was able to short out the external communication, that was planned for using insulated interal communicators.
  • The Shooting Squad gets curb-stomped thanks to a triple attack from Eraser Head, Endo Hound, and Serpenshia. It takes them less than half a minute to leave all three down for the count. The three heroes then move on to easily mopping up the mass of villains.
  • As Kurogiri notes that Agent of J is supposed to be a homeroom teacher for the general studies course, he wonders why she was chosen to aid in rescue training. And then he remembers her wife, Foresight.
  • As Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru face down a group of water-themed villains, Minoru notices smoke coming from Izuku's hands. He's just awakened the third of the One For All Quirks, Smokescreen.
  • We learn that One For All hit singularity yet another generation earlier than canon. Turns out Nana Shimura awakened Smokescreen in the past.
  • While speaking with Toshi, Nezu notes that Izuku was once able to track a serial killer using just fifteen seconds of video footage. He supplemented that with news feeds and online posts, but that is still impressive.
  • Nezu lays out to Toshi all the various facets of Izuku's Regeneration Quirk, making it clear just how impossible to kill the kid it seems. Toshi realizes that Izuku's body is perfect for awakening all the Quirks attached to One For All.
  • When dealing with the water villains, Izuku starts by running across the water so fast he hydroplanes. He then begins running in circles to create a whirlpool, following by a shockwave-generating uppercutting to entrap the villains in a waterspout. Tsuyu and Minoru follow up by throwing Minoru's sticky spheres into the new whirlpool to make sure the villains can't go anywhere.
  • Minoru's own Badass Boast.
Minoru: "Suck on that! You guys may be scary, but we're willing to face our own fears!"

     Chapter 11: Life Isn't a Game
  • A small moment, but Momo put a little more thought into her costume than in canon, having magnetic clamps on the back of her top in case she needs to use her back to create something with her Quirk.
  • Denki proves to be a bit stronger, or at least more resilient, then he is in canon, only going stupid upon overloading for a few seconds.
  • Endo Hound hits Shigaraki with a full blast of her Quirk as he rushes in to try and take out Aizawa. The effect is so strong that it regresses Shigaraki's memories back to his childhood.
  • Much like how Aizawa avoids canon injuries due to having backup, Thirteen is spared getting hit by her own Quirk thanks to Agent of J distracting Kurogiri whenever he tries.
  • For all that Shigaraki is blowing his chance, even Sliming Sadist admits to his father, the supreme villain Crimson Death, that it's more because the heroes were just that well-prepared, rather than any personal failures.
  • During the battle, Shigaraki manages to hit Izuku right in the head with Decay... Only for it to turn out that Izuku's skull is actually resistant to a power like that. Even Izuku is surprised, having literally not known his skull was that indestructible.
  • When Shigaraki accidentally lets Izuku go in a panic, Izuku takes advantage of that fact, plus some observation of Shigaraki's Quirk, to break his pinkie fingers in order to disable it.

Chapter 12: The Meaning of Plus Ultra
  • All Might proves that he's in far better shape than Shigaraki had been led to believe, taking out the rest of the villains in the center of the USJ faster than blinking. Heck, despite still feeling sore in the wound All For One dealt him, All Might only feels some minor pain, with the Nomu unable to even break skin.
  • When All Might gives a speech about why heroes need to use violence, and why it's celebrated by the public while villains are hated for doing the same, it causes a revelation in Shigaraki, who starts to understand Sliming Sadist's breakdown on his flawed ideology.
  • In canon, All Might needed 300 blows to deal with the first Nomu, saying in his prime it would have only taken five. Here he proves it, effortlessly bringing the Nomu to its knees in just five powerful blows.

     Chapter 13: The Day
  • When Tesla tries to take on Agent of J, he first gets stymied when it turns out her hero costume is designed to resist various environmental hazards, including electricity. Tesla then tries to kill her physically, but he's not used to fighting without his Quirk, while Agent of J is a master martial artist. She successfully takes him down with a simple judo throw.
  • As Shigaraki and Kurogiri manage to escape, Shigaraki looks back at Izuku, realizing he may have found a true nemesis in the budding young hero and decides Izuku needs time to grow stronger.
  • Back at the bar, Sliming Sadist manages to manipulate All For One into taking over as Shigaraki's teacher, making use of All For One's own emotional manipulations to do it.
  • We now know why All Might is far stronger than he was in canon... Someone was able to heal his extensive injuries after his fight with All For One. Later we'll learn it was the hero Depestilous, an old friend of All Might's.
  • Toshi notes that this attack only managed to galvanize the students' resolve to become heroes, and help them take the job seriously.

Chapter 14: My Reason to be a Hero
  • As the students get back into their training, they manage to ace a simple exercise given by Serpenshia, involving dealing with a desperate gunman. It results in him blinded by smoke, bound by several of the students, and having his gun disabled by Katsuki.
  • Serpenshia notes that the reason he switched from being a prison warden to being a teacher is because most of the prisons he worked at were getting full, showing just how effective hero society is.

Chapter 15: UA Sports Festival, Let the Games Begin
  • When Shoto makes his declaration of war against Izuku, Izuku accepts the challenge. But also points out that Shoto won't get very far if he keeps insisting on only using half his Quirk.
  • He already proves why during the obstacle race, using his greater strength and control to crack the ice created by Shoto's Quirk. Just by jumping on it.
  • Katsuki and Izuku take advantage of Shoto trying to tie up the others using fallen robots to blaze ahead of him, forcing him to hurry after them.

Chapter 16: Race to the Finish
  • When Inko and Mitsuki were in school together, Inko would ward off Mitsuki's bullies by threatening to use her Quirk to pull out their teeth. Now we know were Izuku gets it from.
  • Toru winds up doing a similar tactic to one Izuku used in canon, grabbing a piece of metal from the robots and making use of it during the obstacle race.
  • Izuku plays leapfrog (even more than Tsuyu, who just uses the ropes) to hop from pillar to pillar during The Fall.
  • Credit to the creators of the race, they made landmines with enough of a blast wave that even Izuku and Katsuki are stalled by it.
  • When Izuku spots Shoto skating across the minefield in an effort to make it to first place, Izuku refuses to let him do so by half-assing it, stopping him by triggering all the mines with a literal Rider Kick! (Okay, so it's actually called the Chuo Smash, but it's still basically a Rider Kick.)

Chapter 17: Cavalry Battle and a New Power
  • Izuku's team in the cavalry battle this time around consists of Katsuki, Tenya, and Ochaco. And right when Juzo uses his Softening Quirk, Tenya and Ochaco combine their Quirks to turn their team into a makeshift rocket. Ibara's attempt to grab them from there is thwarted when Izuku throws in Smokescreen.
  • Mayumi shows her talent as a support course student by making copies of her Object of Power, the Gyrfalcon, to distribute to her team and target some of the other teams besides Izuku.
  • In the past, former One For All bearer Lariat managed to deal All For One a temporary loss.
  • Speaking of Lariat, Izuku unlocks Lariat's natural Quirk Blackwhip, and it quickly proves to be effective at keeping the other teams at bay.

Chapter 18: The Fight for Ten Million Points
  • Shoto puts a lot of thought into his team. Rather than focusing on how many points they're worth, he tries to build a team that can take Izuku's headband and moot the difference in points. Even when stymied by Izuku awakening Blackwhip, Shoto takes it in stride and has his team switch targets, planning on settling things with Izuku in the next round.
  • Fumikage is no slouch in the strategy department, making clever use of Mina's acid to bypass the sheet of ice Shoto covers the field in.
  • Denki shows just how powerful his Quirk is when he manages to generate enough electricity to short out Mayumi's Gyrfalcon, something Mei notes is possible but very difficult.
  • Momo manages to save her team at the last second when Izuku snatches Shoto's headband, using a grappling hook to grab another team's headbands to make up the points.

Chapter 19: What It Means to Have Everything
  • When Shoto pours out his backstory to Izuku, he still points out that it doesn't give Shoto an excuse to half-ass it as a hero. When Shoto asks if Izuku is mocking the pain he went through, Izuku reminds him that Shoto still excepted his father's recommendation to UA, rather than take the normal entrance exam just to prove he didn't need any help.
  • Izuku explains all about his training at Dagoba Beach, and Shoto's is shocked that it was actually rougher then his father's training. Even Endeavor admits that All Might's lessons only made Izuku stronger, while Endeavor fears he may have inadvertently made his son weaker.
  • All Might notes that Izuku's talent for analysis had actually filled up half the cells in Tartarus Prison, and brought down the Church of the Broken God via the arrest of the villain Scrapyard, whom the Church worshipped.
  • After their talk, Izuku makes his own declaration of war on Shoto, to force him through his mental block and awaken to his true potential as a hero.
  • While Minoru still manages to get the girls in Class 1-A to dress in cheerleading outfits, he does it by being honest about his desires rather than trying to trick them. It actually convinces Momo to try it out.
  • Despite his promotion to the hero course basically set in stone at this point, Hitoshi still wants to do well enough in his battle against Izuku to prove he deserves it.
  • Hitoshi is able to rile Izuku up enough to use his Quirk on him... But instead of freezing, Izuku is only slowed down. It turns out his brain is working around the Brainwashing by creating new neural pathways.

     Chapter 20: Only One Weakness
  • Izuku is able to break out of the brainwashing on his own, without the vestiges of One For All, by focusing One For All into his entire arm to break it, then relying on his healing factor to recover the damage.
  • When Hitoshi tries to use his Quirk a second time, Izuku responds not with an angry quip, but with an attack. And he wisely waits until the attack is already done to call out its name, ensuring Hitoshi will still get hit despite managing to freeze Izuku in place.
  • During the fight with Shoto and Hanta, the latter gets frozen in a glacier when Shoto accidentally goes too far. Izuku promptly smashes it to shards to prevent his classmates from getting too cold from its mere presence.

     Chapter 21: First Round Brackets
  • Mayumi vs Denki. Denki actually comes up with a clever way to win by subtly subverting Calling Your Attacks, yelling the name of an attack that had earlier shorted out the Gyrfalcon while actually using a lower voltage. He was clever enough to know that Mayumi wouldn't fall for the same trick twice. Aizawa even notes that it's a strategy heroes often use when there's no danger of civilians getting caught up in collateral damage.
  • Tenya vs Mei. Having been warned of Mei's scheme earlier by Mayumi, Tenya spurs Mei to show off her support gear in a genuine fight, rather than turn the battle into a glorified showroom. When Mei does so, she actually comes within inches of beating Tenya. He barely manages to maintain enough momentum to knock Mei out of the ring.

     Chapter 22: Fight On, Uraraka
  • The entire fight between Ochaco and Katsuki. Both sides giving it their all, which is acknowledged by Aizawa, Regenizard, and even Endeavor.
  • Despite what one particular heckler thinks, Katsuki knows Ochaco isn't weak just from the fact that she can tank his explosions without slowing down.
  • Even after her body gives out, Ochaco still tries to stay in the fight. Katsuki makes sure the audience knows what he thinks of this.
Katsuki: "You see that, you prejudiced bastards!? That right there is a real hero! One who refuses to give up, even when her own body tells her she can't go on! You still think I'm just picking on her!? That she's so weak that she needs help making it this far!?"
  • Endeavor's talk with Izuku? It's not about being a stepping-stone for Shoto. Rather, Endeavor wants Izuku to beat some sense into his son. To teach him that he needs to stop letting misconceptions hold him back mentally.

     Chapter 23: Fan the Flames
  • During the fight between Izuku and Shoto, Izuku shows just how much more powerful he is than canon, being able to use more than just his easily breakable fingers to smash through Shoto's ice. He's able to throw punch after punch without stopping, even healing quickly from the ice splinters or the hypothermia. It gets to the point where Shoto thinks his only chance is Victory by Endurance.
  • When Izuku launches into a jump kick, Shoto manages to trap the extended leg in ice. Izuku just responds with a spinning lariat to break himself out.
  • Shoto manages to get off his Heaven Slaying Ice Wall (albeit too tired to call out its name), only for Izuku to completely shatter it with a Shockwave Clap.
  • Shoto changes up tactics to try and hit Izuku with a close-range blast, only to get pulled in helplessly with Blackwhip, letting Izuku nail him in the solar plexus.
  • During the fight, Shoto realizes something... Izuku's powerful enough to end the fight quickly, but is almost toying with him. Izuku clarifies that he's actually trying to rile up Shoto to get him to stop holding back.
  • What finally triggers Shoto's mental block to shatter? Izuku reminding him that his fight isn't with his father, but Izuku himself. It's enough to break through to Shoto at last and allow his flames to be unleashed at full power.
  • With Shoto no longer holding back, Izuku responds in kind, using powerful wind surges from his blows to counter the flames. Even better, he powers through the flames, Shoto getting freaked out by Izuku's skull as he leaps through the intense heat, quickly healing to end the fight with his signature Shibuya Smash.

     Chapter 24: Ida's Brother, the Semi-Finals
  • The fight between Tenya and Denki proves to be a quick one. It's by no means a curb-stomp, since Tenya's organic combustion engine is connected to his nervous system, but he still edges out Denki to take the win.
  • While speed is not really his specialty, Izuku proves to be able to match Tenya during their fight, both of them moving so fast the stadium needs to rely on high-speed cameras just to keep up. It ultimately ends with Izuku's Chuo Smash colliding with Tenya's Recipro Burst.
  • Izuku manages to come out stronger from the clash with little more than an easily healed twisted ankle, then strikes back while Tenya's engine cools down from the Recipro Burst, ultimately taking the win and reaching the finals.
  • Both Izuku and Katsuki manage to make their opponents in the semi-finals (Tenya and Fumikage respectively) surrender, setting the bar up there for the final fight.

     Chapter 25: Midoriya vs Bakugo
  • Aizawa and Yamada note that neither student is going to give an inch during their fight, and right off the bat the prove it with a flurry of blows too fast for the eye to see.
  • Katsuki quickly realizes that trying to knock out Izuku is an effort in futility, and so tries for a ring-out instead. Unfortunately for him, Izuku makes good use of Blackwhip to prevent that, pulling himself in to nail Katsuki with a clothesline.
  • Katsuki gets so excited by the fight that he feels confident in showcasing his ultimate attack, the Howitzer Impact. Izuku responds in kind by using his own version of All Might's United States of Smash, called the Rising Sun Smash. The two attacks create a massive shockwave with how hard they hit.
  • When the smoke finally clears enough for Midnight to see what's going on... She declares Izuku out of bounds. Turns out Katsuki just barely managed to push Izuku over the line with his attack, winning by the skin of his teeth. Katsuki is beyond excited.

     Chapter 26: Peace Sign
  • Just as the build-up promised, Hitoshi is officially promoted to Class 1-B, with Monoma getting shunted down to general studies.
  • In general the class gained more internship offers than canon, with Aizawa noting that everyone got offers in at least the double digits.
  • Izuku winds up getting 5,000 offers for internships, the highest of anyone in the class, showing just how many pro heroes he impressed with his performance. And he only got second place!
  • Shoto is no slouch, gaining 4,000 offers. That's even more than Katsuki, who actually won the sports festival. Shoto only made the top eight!

Chapter 27: The American Hero, Regenizard
  • When Tony first meets Izuku for the internship, he shows Izuku a picture of how scrawny he used to be before his Quirk kicked in, letting him turn into the badass hero he is today.
  • Toshi's plan to train Izuku? Actually train him, in order to make One For All stronger by improving Izuku's base strength.
  • Thus far Izuku has only lost once due to a ring-out, but Regenizard acts as the perfect Wake-Up Call Boss, showing just how far Izuku has to go before he's ready for hero work.
  • When Stain is meeting with Shigaraki, he gets annoyed by Shigaraki's lack of real motivation. As he tries to draw his blades, he gets wrapped up in Stranglehold's cloth. She then proceeds to berate him for his actions.
  • Katsuki is also learning more about humility under Mirko, who pulls no punches in making sure Katsuki improves his overall combat skills.
  • Just the variety of heroes Class 1-A gets to intern with, most of them based on SCP objects. Heck, we even get to see Detective Void, the most well-known Youtube channel for SCP-related content and the inspiration for most of the other Original Characters during this arc.

     Chapter 28: A Naive Vision
  • Regenizard, Swift Sculpt, and several other heroes decide to track down Stain in Hosu, making use of their superhuman toughness or inability to be physically damaged or killed to bypass his affinity for blades.
  • When Stain accuses Shigaraki of being as "fake" as the heroes he's killed, Shigaraki uses his Quirk to destroy one of Stain's swords, then gives an epic rebuttal, accusing Stain of being little more than a criminal playing at vigilantism. It's enough to get Stain to back off and take back his accusations.
  • Tenya manages to catch Stain off-guard just as he's about to kill Native, hitting the Hero Killer with a shoulder tackle before grabbing Native to get him out of danger.
  • When Tenya reveals himself to Stain as Tensei's brother, Stain notes the look in Tenya's eyes. It's not one of vengeance, but determination. Stain immediately realizes he's looking at a true hero, albeit one still training.

     Chapter 29: Hero Killer, Stain
  • Both in the previous chapter and this one we see snippets of the fight against the Nomus that Shigaraki unleashed on Hosu. Many of them showcase powerful abilities.
  • The reason why Tensei went into retirement in spite of the fact that Depestilous could have healed his legs? To send Stain a message that his ideology is flawed. The very idea of it sends Stain into a Villainous Breakdown as he struggles to comprehend reality.
  • Despite being enraged at Tenya for pointing out all the flaws in his ideology, Stain restrains himself, not wanting to kill a genuine hero. It turns out his does have self-control, which is awesome in itself.
  • Just as Stain has paralyzed Tenya, leaving him to wonder how to deal with Swift Sculpt, he gets sucker punched by Izuku, who was able to hone in on Stain's hostility thanks to Danger Sense.
  • Immediately afterward, Izuku utters a Pre-Asskicking One-Liner that reminds Stain a little of All Might.
Midorang: "There's no need to worry... I'm here now!"
  • With permission to engage Stain, Izuku shows the results of his training. Stain still manages to draw blood (he is more experienced, after all) but his Quirk is useless since Izuku quickly heals from the paralysis due to his own Quirk.
  • Stain gets another shock when he gets ambushed by Shoto, who showed up with Infablaze.
  • Despite being outnumbered, and his opponents knowing the mechanics behind his Quirk, Stain still isn't concerned he could lose, and for good reason.

Chapter 30: The Meaning of a Hero
  • As Tenya recovers from getting paralyzed by Stain, and with some words of encouragement from Swift Sculpt, he finally starts to feel comfortable stepping into his brother's legacy. You can just tell the moment the new Ingenium is born.
  • In canon Tenya, Shoto, and Izuku struggled a bit with Stain. Here they practically have him on the ropes, though his skill and experience does let him keep up.
  • When Tenya's Engine starts to overheat, he asks Shoto to frost it over to cool it down. Stain tries to intercept, only for Izuku to intercept him. Turns out Bulletproof Human Shield can work when the projectiles are knives rather than actual bullets.
  • By the end of it, Stain winds up completely entangled in Izuku's Blackwhip, pinned down by the Invincible Hero's weight.
  • One truly epic moment comes from a side hero named Firebird, whose Phoenix Quirk, like the name implies, let's her come Back from the Dead if something kills her. Like a confused Nomu that has no concept of such powers. One entanglement from Hanta later, and Firebird roasts the creature until it falls unconscious.
  • When the winged Nomu attacks, it's not Stain that takes it out. It's Izuku, knocking the creature unconscious with a heel drop to its exposed brain. The sight of it actually impresses Shigaraki.

Chapter 31: Aftermath, the League Forms
  • During an earlier chapter Midnight notes that she handed off a case she was on to Vlad King due to information from Foresight. In this chapter Kurogiri confirms Vlad King's mission was a success (we later learn he was tracking down Himiko Toga).
  • Detective Void shows why he's such a good conspiracy researcher... He actually alters his theories to fit whatever evidence he finds. And he passes off this knowledge to Toru.

     Chapter 32: Everyone's Internships
  • Minoru learns a new trick training under Elle-Ate. He can now create a string with his sticky spheres to use them like a yo-yo and grab things.
  • Kyoka gets to take a much bigger role in the hostage situation under Golden Mask and her sisters, using her Quirk to stun the gunmen.
  • Much of the main plot of the chapter, Tsuyu's internship with Selkie, remains intact, meaning all the badass moments from canon can apply here. Especially Selkie's fight with Innsmouth.

Chapter 33: One For All, All For One
  • During the rescue training with All Might, Izuku makes good use of his newly awakened Float Quirk to reach the center of the field first.
  • Credit to the One For All users besides Nana Shimura, they clearly were smart enough to bring backup that knew about All For One and could potentially deal with him, even if only All Might was ever able to truly defeat him.
  • All Might himself fought alongside Endo Hound, Serpenshia, Depestilous, and Regenizard. They managed to give All Might the opening he needed without losing their Quirks. That is hardcore.

     Chapter 34: The Final Exams
  • During the written portion, even Mina and Denki, who normally struggle academically, find themselves easily able to answer all the questions.
  • Instead of All Might being pitted against Izuku and Katsuki because of their issues with each other, he's pitted against them because he's the only teacher who can challenge them. These two are just that strong, even without their Quirks.
  • Round One, Red Riot and Sugarman vs Cementoss. Unlike in canon, the two come up with a clever strategy beyond just trying to barrel through unlimited cement walls. Instead, while Red Riot keeps Cementoss occupied on the ground, Sugarman takes to the rooftops (the buildings are made of steel, not concrete) and attacks Cementoss from above for the first capture of the exam.

     Chapter 35: Beyond Recommendation

     Chapter 36: Class 1-A's Resolve
  • Round Five, Captain Sparkle and Uravity vs Thirteen. Captain Sparkle reveals internally that he sees his "sparkling" personality as just Kayfabe and actually takes his hero training very seriously, actually pulling off an effective Batman Gambit to trick Thirteen and give Uravity an opening to pin her.
  • Round Six, Chargebolt and Alien Queen vs Nezu. Chargebolt manages to find where Nezu is attacking from by thinking of the most Boring, but Practical position he can given the industrial environment.
  • The duo then work together with a simple yet brilliant plan. Alien Queen melts through the debris until they reach the crane's control box, which Chargebolt then shorts out. This gives Alien Queen enough time to climb the crane and cuff Nezu, giving them the win.
  • Round Seven, Earphone Jack and Anima vs Present Mic. Earphone Jack shows better gear in being able to block Present Mic's Voice, giving Anima an opening to send a colony of bugs after him.
  • Round Eight, Tentacole and Invisible Girl vs Snipe. Just like in canon, Invisible Girl takes advantage of her invisibility to sneak around Snipe's peripheral vision while Tentacole fakes a surrender to keep his attention.
  • Round Nine, Cellophane and Grape Juice vs Midnight. Cellophane actually manages to protect himself as well as Grape Juice, taping his visor shut so Midnight can't trigger it open to put him to sleep. This means he's able to contribute more, taking advantage of Midnight getting caught in the Grape Rush attack to tie her up for the capture.

Chapter 37: The Final Match, Defeat All Might
  • Much like in canon, All Might shows just how powerful he is when he stops holding back. Good thing Midorang and Dynamite were already off the main road when All Might obliterates it.
  • Midorang proves no slouch, pretty much breaking even with All Might during a tug-of-war with Blackwhip as the rope. Even when he loses the struggle, Midorang has enough presence of mind to launch Smokescreen before getting slammed into Dynamite.
  • The two friends manage to pull off an epic win, Dynamite keeping All Might's attention while Midorang throws out a Rising Sun Smash with as much of One For All as he can handle. All Might is so strong it merely disorients him, but that's still enough of an opening for Dynamite to slap the capture cuffs on him.
  • We get to see two new villains looking to join the League, Foxfire and Operatic. Foxfire is already infamous enough that Operatic recognizes her immediately.
  • And Operatic himself admits that he's Quirkless, relying on an Object of Power to be an effective villain. Regardless, he's still talented enough to be on the Crimson Children's radar.
  • The new villains just keep on coming. Dabi is familiar, but there's also Vector, Graffiti, and Ableblade. And Sliming Sadist has a few more ideas in mind.

Chapter 38: Singing to the Sky
  • Shigaraki is not afraid to berate Dabi for his bad attitude, stating the League of Villains is here to be villains, not play at social reform.
  • When Aizawa notes that Class 1-B had to take the same type of final exam as Class 1-A, Bakugo ponders the mental gymnastics it took to counter Hitoshi.
  • We get to see the lead-in to the movie chapter, especially with how All For One learns about Wolfram.

     Chapter 39: Two Heroes
  • In the flashback, we see Tony and Toshi working together to deal with the two villains who robbed a casino. Regenizard even shows he has his own special moves named after reptiles, such as the uppercut he delivers red-suited villain called the Salamander Slam.
  • Dave apparently has much more self-control in this story, not only agreeing with the decision to scrap the Quirk Enhancement Device, but understanding why it was scraped.
  • When Katsuki got his invite to I-Expo for his victory in the sports festival, he debates on whether to bring his best friend (Eijiro) or his girlfriend (Itsuka). The two arm-wrestle to decide and Eijiro wins.
  • Izuku makes a run at the villain course at the expo, and does phenomenal with a time of 12 seconds.
  • Despite One For All running out in Toshi's body, there's enough left to finish Izuku's training. And even then, his baseline with Maximize ensures he won't be a pushover even after retirement.
  • When All Might realizes Kyoka is listening in during the hostage situation, he makes the arguably smart decision to send his students to shut down the security instead of trying to escape to safety. After all, where on the island is safe at the moment?
  • Even Tenya realizes that the only way to get to "safety" on the island would be to somehow get to the airport and get off the island, a hard ask when the villains are in control of the security network. Trying to climb the building to shut down the security is clearly the easier option.
  • When the gang gets blocked on the stairs, Melissa notes the nearby security door leads to an open area. Minoru figures that's the better option. They'll be facing villains either way, but an indoor forest is better for combat due to being more open and having better cover.
  • When dealing with the hacked security drones, instead of relying strictly on Denki's electricity, they use smoke bombs from Momo along with Izuku's Smokescreen to jam the drones' optical sensors, then have Denki take out the central IFF.
  • As Izuku is helping Melissa get to the top floors, he gets another awakening from One For All. Two in fact, both of which are awesome. Not only does he awaken to Ancestor Speak, letting him hear the voices of the vestiges of the previous One For All users, he also awakens Fa Jin and uses it to smash through the exterior wall to get inside the upper floors.
  • Melissa notes that Nana Shimura awakened Fa Jin in addition to Smokescreen. Which doubles as an off-screen moment for All For One since he was fighting a hero with essentially four Quirks... And still killed her.
  • So far we've seen proof that Izuku's skull is indestructible, but a sudden ambush from Swordkil proves Izuku's spinal column is also indestructible, preventing the villain from decapitating Izuku.
  • We learn that Sam is not just some random assistant looking for a bigger pay cut. He's actually a secret mobster working for the long defunct Chicago Spirit, which makes his planning of the I-Island invasion make more sense.
  • Wolfram shows his experience as a mercenary when he realizes that trying to kill Izuku is an effort in futility, and so opts to simply contain him instead.
  • Dave shows why he was All Might's first sidekick, trying his best to keep the Quirk Enhancement Device out of Wolfram's hands by tackling Hacker to the ground.
  • Izuku manages to break out of Wolfram's metal trap. When Wolfram creates a metal wall to separate them, the impact crater from Izuku's punch let's him know that won't slow him down for long. And then Izuku just floats over it... Wolfram starts to think Izuku is the second coming of All Might (to be fair, he's not entirely wrong).
  • The fact that Wolfram is able to last as long as he does when only using a prototype of the Quirk Enhancement Device, showing amazing power even while it's burning out. Talk about determination.
  • The epic combination of punches from both All Might and Izuku, using both their signature punches. Detroit Smash and Shibuya Smash combined are more than enough to bring Wolfram down.

     Chapter 40: One Final Favor
  • Both Crimson Death and Izuku do independent research and manage to uncover a few secrets regarding Shigaraki, including the fact that All For One stole a Quirk from a former subordinate and gave it to Shigaraki.
  • Class 1-B has been working hard to keep up with Class 1-A, who have been getting stronger for a while now.
  • Despite getting such a late start in the hero course, Hitoshi manages to pass his final exam with flying colors.

Chapter 41: The Pussycats and the Kid
  • Turns out Lunch Rush isn't just in charge of the school cafeteria. He's the home ec teacher too.
  • Izuku managing to dodge Pixie-Bob's sudden attack mid-rant thanks to Danger Sense. It's that precise.
  • Class 1-A already proved Genre Savvy enough to know when they were going to get hazed, so when they're getting set up to be sent into the Beast's Forest, they don't even wait for Pixie-Bob to use Earth Flow. They just leap right off the cliff.
  • Izuku nails the first earth construct with such force it breaks Pixie-Bob's scanner, prompting her to acknowledge the famous Dragon Ball Z meme.
  • Once again Foresight proves a Spanner in the Works for All For One's plans, this time being given information about the training camp and her Quirk letting her know it's going to get attacked.
  • Overall, Class 1-A proves to be much stronger than canon, reaching the camp in five and a half hours, way faster than their canon time.
  • Despite being much stronger than canon, Izuku still winds up getting laid out when Kota punches him in the balls.
  • Minoru proves to have a much better attitude than canon during the hot springs scene. When he spots Kota at the top of the wall, his response is to berate him for endangering his life rather than being there at all. And when Kota falls from the wall (due to spotting Mina without her towel on) it's Minoru (rather than Izuku) who saves him. As Mandalay later points out, Minoru might have just earned some brownie points with Aizawa.

     Chapter 42: A Child's Logic is Flawed
  • Izuku's Quirk training basically involves taking advantage of the stockpiling aspect of Regeneration, which in turn improves his base power in addition to his control of One For All. This shows when he unleashes a powerful Shibuya Smash that likely would have sent Tiger flying had he not had the reflexes to dodge it with Pliabody.
  • While also a funny moment, the fact that Hitoshi can keep up with Himiko enough to practically scramble her brains with his Brainwashing is pretty awesome.
  • The fact that Dabi keeps up his worldview in spite of all the signs that he should stop (including Banananasher personally overseeing the attack on the camp) is actually pretty impressive, if completely stupid.

     Chapter 43: The League Strikes
  • Izuku obviously stuck in the mind of Shigaraki enough for him to warn the rest of the League about him, since Graffiti knows him just by sight.
  • Graffiti does have the potential to defeat Midorang since Chalk Walk could leave Midorang stuck as a chalk drawing to slowly suffocate, but Midorang doesn't give him the chance, blinding him using Smokescreen.
  • Mudman gets in on the action, using his Softening Quirk to prevent Graffiti's from working properly.
  • When Magne makes her attack, Rule counters by shrinking down her weapon. She then dodges when Magne tries her Quirk, instead drawing in Dragon Shroud. With his own Quirk fully active.
  • Vlad King notes how much Class 1-B has improved, to the point where they can handle villains way more experienced than the ones that attacked the USJ.
  • Vector and Operatic already show great synergy, combining Vector's Quirk with Operatic's Object of Power to create an effective knockout gas.
  • Midorang's Big Damn Heroes moment saving Kota from Muscular shows just how unkillable he can be, surviving a blow from Muscular that could have reduced an entire boulder to dust.
  • Unlike canon, Foxfire notes that none of the Pussycats had been captured at the point when Midorang started fighting Muscular. With the League unprepared for the training camp this time (Monoma wasn't able to get any information on it) the students had more time to train and are able to easily fend off the attack.
  • Once Midorang learns how Muscular's Quirk works, he distracts the villain by talking about the death of Water Hose (who Muscular killed months ago) before delivering a sharp Groin Attack. It works because there's very little muscle in that region of the body, just bones and nerves.
  • Mines gets in a solid blow of his own, using Twin Impact to strike Muscular in his already damaged eye. Battle Fist follows up by grabbing him with her enlarged hands and slamming him into the nearby mountain to trap him.
  • Credit to Muscular, even with how outmatched he is against a more powerful Izuku Midoriya, he still holds out to the point where Dynamite steps in to help speed up the process of bringing him down.

     Chapter 44: Heroes of Tomorrow
  • Dabi's attitude is so bad that Twice's two personalities actually start agreeing with each other about how bad he is. That's a whole new level of dickery.
  • Cat Noir finds a work around to Twice's Doppelgänger Attack by taking advantage of their lack of bio-electricity, using her Static Quirk to light up the entire forest.
  • Graffiti shows he's not a one-trick pony when it comes to using his Quirk. If he can't turn his victims into chalk art, he'll make some of his own and bring it to life.
  • Vector and Operatic get confronted by Real Steel and Creati, who were smart enough to wear face masks designed to hold back the deadly COVID-19 virus (in our reality the most recent pandemic and one of the most devastating).
  • As if the fact that both villains are actually outmatched by the two trainee heroes wasn't enough, things get worse for them when Tsukuyomi shows up with a feral and just barely under control Dark Shadow. Who quickly blocks Vector's attempt to slow the Jet-Black Hero down with a simple rhino virus.
  • When Himiko transforms into Red Riot hoping to confuse Moonfish, she gets a surprise when her Quirk evolves, allowing her to perfectly copy Red Riot's Hardening Quirk, letting her break one of Moonfish's teeth. That immediately shifts the battle in her favor. Her next choice? Midorang.

     Chapter 45: The Counterattack
  • Due to Dark Shadow being a sentient Quirk, it's naturally difficult to control. Yet Himiko is able to pull it off when she transforms into Tsukuyomi.
  • When Tsukuyomi joins the fight against Moonfish, he, Froppy, Uravity, and Himiko (transformed into Dynamite) manage to break all of Moonfish's teeth, rendering him temporarily harmless (it's been established in canon that his teeth can grow back over time).
  • All For One is so infamous amongst villains that Himiko was able to learn about him despite being a villain for only two years at most (her career started in middle school).
  • When Ableblade moves to confront Midorang and Dynamite, he immediately tries to bisect Midorang. It fails, once again, due to Midorang's indestructible spine. Midorang immediately counters with his open palm strike.
  • Ableblade then barely manages to dodge another attack from Dynamite. While he was expelled from UA, the fact remains that he passed the entrance exam just like his opponents, and it shows.
  • While Kurogiri arriving to try and complete at least part of his master's mission is quite foolish, it's not like he didn't think it through, bringing a fifth Nomu with him for backup.

     Chapter 46: Sudden Departure
  • When Dabi tries to point out UA is going to lose trust with the public, Vlad King retorts with the fact that their students are practically mopping the floor with more experienced villains is only going to make the people trust UA more.
  • Banananasher shows just why he's a feared villain in spite of his goofy name and appearance when he grabs Dabi with the intent of disposing of him.
  • Midorang blocks a second strike from Ableblade by hardening his muscles using Maximize.
  • Mindblank manages to scramble Twice's brains with his Quirk. And considering Twice was never all there to begin with, that's saying something.
  • Midorang and Dynamite manage to one-shot the chainsaw Nomu.
  • Graffiti manages to partially trap Midorang and Dynamite just enough to allow him and the rest of the League to escape. Even then it fails, as Dynamite manages to grab him, ensuring that if Kurogiri warps Graffiti, he'll warp Dynamite with him.
  • Mindblank solves the above issue by brainwashing Kurogiri, not only ensuring he's captured much earlier than canon, but forcing him to warp Midorang and Dynamite to the League of Villain's hideout. But not before tossing Midorang one of the GSP marbles from his own Quirk training so the pro heroes can find out where it is.
  • Despite being caught between two hero students that have already proven his superior, Graffiti still manages to escape and contact the rest of the League.
  • Tenya's Dare to Be Badass speech when he rallies the class to help Izuku and Katsuki.
Tenya: "We are the next generation of heroes. Ultimately, the safety of this world will someday fall on us. And our teachers have decided there's no better time than the present to give us the experience we need to do it right."

     Chapter 47: Call to Kamino
  • We've already seen that Banananasher is just as intelligent as he is brutal, and here he shows it by making sure to eat several flame-retardant materials to make sure Dabi can't roast him alive.
  • Just the way Banananasher completely destroys Dabi's motivations, pointing out that it would only give him short-term satisfaction before his father and brother bounced back to retaliate, stronger than ever.
  • Monoma. Copies. All For One. That is all.
  • Well, to give a bit more context, through Sliming Sadist's instructions, Monoma copies All For One and uses it to take a certain Quirk from All For One (the villain) called Virtual Reality, and replace Shigaraki's Decay Quirk with it. All For One tries to resist, but Monoma pulls it off anyway.
  • The kicker? Virtual Reality is Shigaraki's... Or rather, Tenko's... True Quirk. With his true power restored, Tenko not only retakes his old identity, but finds his identity as a villain. Introducing the true leader of the League of Villains... Infinite.
  • All this causes All For One to remember what it's like to feel fear. That in itself is just awesome.

     Chapter 48: The Heroes Raid
  • The plan to warp the heroes into Kamino for the raid is Simple, yet Awesome. Midorang just tosses the GPS marble into the nearest empty parking lot. Instant backup.
  • While most of the villain hopefuls are dumb enough to try to take on some of the world's greatest heroes, Infinite spots two that are smart enough to just get the hell outta dodge, Cockatrice and Jackie. Infinite is so impressed at their intelligence, and their skills, that he hires them on the spot and helps them escape the dragnet.
  • Gustav does what he can to insure All For One can fight for as long as possible. Despite knowing that pushing too long or too far will cause him to become brain dead, All For One is determined to fight to the end. Credit to the villain to end all villains, that is badass.
  • Gustav is a scientist and soldier for the Chaos Insurgency, yet he knows he's no match for Midorang and his friends. Yet he aims to give it everything he has regardless.

Chapter 49: Secret of the Nomus
  • In spite of the odds, Infinite chooses to Hold the Line to keep Midorang at bay so his new League can escape.
  • Considering Gustav isn't as skilled a scientist as Dr. Garaki from canon, the fact that he's able to make (as we'll learn) seven Nomus amongst so many failures is impressive. Even better, one of those Nomus is still Kurogiri.
  • Ingenium shows impressive forward thinking regarding his armor, making sure to keep the joints covered using Kevlar.
  • Uravity prevents all of Gustav's attempts to use the tables for cover by levitating them into the air, including one that had his assault rifle, limiting his options.
  • During their fight, All Might manages to give All For One pause when he reveals that he knew Tomura Shigaraki was actually Tenko Shimura, his mentor's grandson. He then lays out logically that everything that happened to Tenko is All For One's fault, not his own.
  • All For One was smart enough not to kill Tenko's family himself then alter Tenko's memories, knowing doing so would cause Tenko to kill him once he learned the truth. He even admits all Tenko would need to do was destroy All For One's life support.
  • The shaking from the above fight gives Gustav a chance to get to his assault rifle, only for Midorang to moot that by using Smokescreen. By the time Gustav is able to fire, only Midorang is there to tank the bullets.
  • Despite being Quirkless, Gustav is skilled enough to dodge two powerful attacks from both Dynamite and Ingenium.
  • Uravity makes use of her own Quirk to overwhelm Gustav and knock the rifle out of his hands.
  • Just as Gustav is about make one final play before getting arrested, that being to erase his work so it can't be reversed, we get a Big Damn Heroes moment from an old enemy of his from his home reality.
Lawrence: "Long time no see. Doctor Buck sends her regards."
  • Gustav tries to hit the self-destruct in his lab, but Midorang prevents that by grabbing him using Blackwhip.
  • When a sudden rain of spikes comes in while Miss J is downloading the Nomu research, Midorang manages to deflect them... Only to learn they came from Infinite's Quirk.

     Chapter 50: Nemeses Collide
  • In a parallel to Izuku and Ochaco saving each other during the entrance exam, we get a flashback with Toshi and Junko doing the same thing with each other.
  • This time Elle-Ate gets in on helping deal with her insidious half-brother All For One.
  • Most of the Nomus created by Gustav are rejects, yet even those are strong enough to take on heroes like Endo Hound or Serpenshia, if only due to sheer numbers.
  • Red Riot and Tsukuyomi join their friends in facing Infinite, and actually manage to hold up quite well. Granted he's still getting used to a power he lost for years, but considering how quickly he relearns his abilities...
  • The dual ultimate move strike from both All Might and Midorang as they prepare to attack All For One and Infinite respectively. Both United States of Smash and Rising Sun Smash hit hard, with enough force to create twin hurricanes.
  • Infinite manages to escape, if barely, by virtue of being younger and stronger. All For One, however, goes down for good.

     Chapter 51: Towards the Future
  • Even after all the craziness that happened, and with One For All's primary purpose now over, Toshi decides to continue his role as a teacher. After all, Izuku still needs his training.
  • With All For One good as dead, Infinite and his team make ready to take his place and address the power vacuum created.

     Chapter 52: Odd Future
  • Just the sheer variety of anomalous amenities included in the Heights Alliance dorms. They've got a fridge that constantly stocks itself with fresh groceries, an instant fast food delivery service, the Infinite Pizza Box, and the Pan-Dimensional Vending Machine.
  • The epic ending to the in-universe movie "Tears of Blood", showing the strength of the main female lead.

     Chapter 53: Your Ultimate Move
  • After seeing how powerful the Rising Sun Smash can be, Izuku changes how he fires it. He makes use of his legs to aim the attack upward, causing less collateral damage overall.
  • It might have taken some time, but Mei and Mayumi manage to recreate the Full Gauntlet Melissa made, letting Izuku have one on each hand.
  • In general the class improves by leaps and bounds, to the point where Aizawa is confident they won't have to worry about "the Crushing".

     Chapter 54: The License Exam
  • Infinite shows a lot more Pragmatic Villainy, deciding not to attack the Provisional License Exam since they wouldn't be able to affect much. Not to mention they don't have Himiko...
  • Thanks to Danger Sense, Izuku is able to pick up on Yo's real personality. Katsuki by extension due to noticing Izuku stiffen up and a good look into Yo's eyes.
  • As the traditional Crushing of UA starts, Izuku immediately prevents it by using his whirlwind kick to knock away all the balls thrown at Class 1-A. He even catches a ball on his leg and knocks it into an opponent's weak point.

Chapter 55: We Won't Be Crushed
  • We see Infinite make good on his promise to recruit new blood into the League as we see the first of the recruits, Yule Man. Just the fact that Yule Man is an elderly and experienced villain is impressive since the only other villains we've seen past their thirties were Crimson Death, Sliming Sadist and All For One.
  • After dealing with Ketsubetsu's initial attack plan, Shoto gets the class out of the line of fire using a giant ice sheet that he's able to control enough to levitate.
  • Izuku quickly manages to deal with Camie when she appears, even tagging one of her weak spots with Blackwhip. He also completely dissects her Quirk just based on how he could only spot her using Danger Sense and was only able to physically detect her when he unleashed Smokescreen.
  • When Camie tries to introduce herself, Izuku defies Talking Is a Free Action by throwing another high-speed ball. The ricochet nearly costs Camie another weak point, but she's able to dodge at the last minute.
  • As more examinees try to gang up on Izuku, he easily deflects the incoming balls using his spinning lariat. He even gets his first point this way.
  • Once again, the class makes use of communication devices, in order to avoid dealing with examinees that can copy their appearance. Hanta even made sure to have every do a mic check upon meeting to make sure they were properly synced.

     Chapter 56: Our Determination
  • The next new recruit for the League is Daybreaker, a Shiketsu dropout. What makes him so awesome? He dropped out in his third-year, meaning he already has the experience and training a villain his age normally wouldn't have.
  • As Momo leaves to help some of their other classmates, she leaves behind a special flammable paper to trick the Seijin students.
  • Tsuyu makes use of her ability to hold objects in her stomach and another parting gift from Momo, a high-powered drill that she uses to puncture the nearby oil tankers. This gives Shoto the ammo he needs to knock out all the Seijin students at once.
  • Most of the battle against Saiko Intelli happens the same, with one exception... Momo comes up with the idea to have Kyoka listen through the floor instead of the walls, circumventing that part of Saiko's strategy.
  • Mezo listens in the wall instead, but his ears are more durable and aren't damaged in any way from the overly loud radio meant to inhibit Kyoka.
  • Katsuki may be a Genius Bruiser, by Eijiro and Denki prove they're no slouch in the brains department. Denki immediately picks up on how Seiji used his Quirk to create the blobs on the street. And Eijiro realizes that Seiji hasn't scored any points yet due to the fact that none of the blobs have their weak points visible.
  • Izuku, Hanta, and Ochaco use a clever scheme to pass the first trial. Izuku makes use of his incredible speed to act as a decoy, while Hanta and Ochaco use their Quirks to entrap the students gunning for him.

     Chapter 57: First Round Ends
  • For all the goofy powers in MHA that can still cause serious damage, it's truly awesome to see Bad Humor, who can weaponize ice cream.
  • Yo quickly realizes that if his class continues to try and target Izuku and Class 1-A, they're only going to fail the exam. So he leads his team to target everyone else dumb enough to continue the futile assault.
  • When Seiji tries to give Denki a "The Reason You Suck" Speech, Denki points out that the exam proctors are obviously able to hear everything they say. He then gives Seiji a scathing speech of his own.
  • He follows it up by using one of Katsuki's discarded gauntlets (which are even stronger due to the cauterpillers it houses) and then hits him hard using an electric current channeled through a metal disc he embedded in the wall. Bonus points for Seiji foolishly thinking that earlier shot was meant to attack him.
  • Just as Seiji tries to get his second wind, he gets a one-two punch from Eijiro and Katsuki.
  • In an effort to rally the rest of the class, Yuga fires his laser into the air. Suddenly, the Crushing of UA becomes the Crushing of... Well... Everyone else.
  • During the training camp Koda makes friends with a black bear who has a Quirk of his own, and a stray tabby that also has a Quirk. Both become his animal partners and show their great power during the license exam.

     Chapter 58: D-Class Reporting
  • Infinite's declaration when Guilt complains about becoming a Joke Character.
Infinite: "Here at the League of Villains, we don't only let villains join if they're good. We take them in... And make them good."
  • Izuku convinces the remaining examinees to work together during the rescue scenario, and they do indeed start coming up with a solid plan.
  • The Kayfabe going into the second round is more realistic, in order to insure the examinees will take the rescue as seriously as possible.
  • Camie shows some amazing insight when she realizes this exam is likely going to involve more than just rescuing civilians.

Chapter 59: Tales From One Foundation to Another
  • Waldo's history certainly makes him seem like a grade-A badass of a villain.
  • Vigorshy casually slices Gustav's gun in two. With just the claw on his index finger.
  • It turns out Izuku's spine is indestructible down to the cartilage discs between the bones.
  • Waldo manages to infiltrate the Oldest House (the headquarters of the SCP Foundation). As we'll later learn, this is no easy feat and he's the only one confirmed to have done so.
  • In this version of the mock hostage/murder scene, Izuku is actually able to pick up on the fact that All Might "revealing" himself to still be alive was in fact Kayfabe as part of his character, just from how well he knows him.

Chapter 60: Deliberation of the Overseers, Exam's End
  • Next up to join the League of Villains is Gorefield, an experienced mafioso who, while not having a truly strong Quirk, does make due with what advantages being part-cat can give him and a variety of combat gadgets.
  • We get our first real look at the O5 Council... And the leader of them is none other than Jesse Faden. She even comes with the Service Weapon.
  • Just the sound of the Quirks from the other Council members lets you know that in a worse-case scenario they are a Badass Crew that can protect the Oldest House should anything try to bring it down.
  • Sumire shows the effectiveness of her Quirk when she uses it to blind some of the attacking "terrorists".
  • Rather than argue and fight each other, Inasa and Shoto work together. Not only does Shoto find the means to unleash both sides of his Quirk simultaneously, but he also combines it with a windstorm from Inasa to successfully entrap Gang Orca.
  • Camie puts her Glamour to use in order to infiltrate the fake villains and use their own weapons against them.
  • Gang Orca manages to escape the giant tornado... But his charge gets blocked by Izuku just as the exam ends.

Chapter 61: Rise Up, Heights Alliance
  • The next recruit for the League is Herr Chirurg, a genius medical expert who was blacklisted due to wanting to push his Quirk (the source of said medical genius) to its absolute limit.
  • Thanks to the teamwork established by the examinees, all one hundred of them manage to pass.
  • All For One has just enough strength of will to stay alive for a bit longer, even if he knows he can't keep it up forever. But facing his inevitable death, he does gain a sense of clarity, which he speaks to All Might about.
  • Surprisingly, we get two League recruits in this episode. Gear Woman is a former yakuza member who can liquify her body, and while in that state she can control any machine. She largely does this with a combat robot specced to resemble her body. As for the yakuza family she comes from? It's none other than the Shie Hassaikai, since it's revealed she's both Overhaul's adopted cousin and Eri's mother!

Chapter 62: Congratulations, Toshi and Junko
  • We see Wolfram and Innsmouth as they manage to escape a prison transport bringing them to Tartarus. Turns out that while Wolfram lost the Quirk that All For One gave him due to burnout, he still has his original Quirk, Metalbend.
  • During the reception, Depestilous, Regenizard, and Serpenshia bring back their old band, while Junko proves that even a blind person can tear it up on the dance floor.
  • As Innsmouth and Wolfram are welcomed by Infinite with open arms, the newly completed League of Villains raises a toast, declaring themselves the dark beacon that will protect lesser villains from those that would exploit them, and call the heroes of the world to action.

Chapter 63: The Big Three of UA High
  • Infinite shows he's just as smart as Izuku when he hears about a yakuza family distributing a Quirk-enhancing drug through Marshall, Carter, and Dark and immediately suspects the Shie Hassaikai. Giran confirms he's right on the money.

     Chapter 64: Make My Story
  • Despite Mirio's greater experience, Izuku is able to keep up using his greater array of Quirks. Including Fa Jin, which can exploit a weakness in Permeation.
  • When Mirio decides to fight Izuku one-on-one, he barely wins via Victory by Endurance. That's how narrow the gap between the two of them is.
  • We see the first of the restored Nomu open their eyes, showing Gustav's research has been successfully reverse-engineered. A victory for the Foundation.

Chapter 65: Interview the New Heroes
  • And then it turns out the person in question is Toxic Chainsaw, who shows off his Tool Arms Quirks to escape from the Oldest House. With nowhere else to go, he seeks out the League of Villains.
  • It turns out Yuga was helping during the USJ, disabling a few of the villains attacking by targeting their joints.

     Chapter 66: Yakuza and Tricksters
  • Throughout the entire meeting with Overhaul, Infinite manages to remain calm and rational, though you can tell he's gritting his teeth when Overhaul starts to badmouth his chosen family.
  • You get the sense that the League doesn't take Overhaul seriously, laughing off his idea of getting rid of heroes.
  • Overhaul does manage to ignore Guilt's Quirk, even though it's implied the League has helped him improve his willpower, just by being a sociopath. Even then, he admits he felt the effect buzzing in his brain, to the point where a few more seconds could have even made him succumb.
  • Overhaul destroying Foxfire's arm finally gets Infinite to drop the facade, and he easily overpowers Overhaul with missiles created by his Quirk. Said constructs prove immune to Overhaul's power.
  • As Overhaul calls in backup, said backup gets decimated by the League. Graffiti, Gorefield, Daybreaker, Yule Man, Ableblade, and even Bad Humor all get kills in.
  • Izuku gets to step into an alternate version of the Persona 5 world as he joins the agency of Valjean, who shows that the rest of the main crew from said video game are his own sidekicks.

Chapter 67: Starting the Work Study
  • Each of the Shadows, Valjean's team of student heroes, have badass-sounding Quirks, all based around their canon counterparts' elemental affinities.
  • We get a montage of each hero the class is doing work-study with, with the implication that each speech is being said simultaneously, including the final stamp of approval.
  • Nezu admits to having deliberately hooked up Class 1-A with hero agencies investigating the Shie Hassaikai, though not with the intention of sending them directly after Overhaul, just his network. Though both he and Aizawa are certain Izuku at least could take on Overhaul and win.
  • While in the bullpen, Izuku takes Seeker's investigation and uses it to profile Overhaul's modus operandi. It's so thorough that Valjean notes that Izuku might as well be an Expy of Sir Nighteye.
  • In spite of the clear intimidation factor Overhaul presents, Infinite is not ready to give in and starts coming up with an effective plan, starting with making use of Jackie's Quirk.

Chapter 68: Her name is Eri
  • Arsene proves that just because he's no longer in a reality where he's a phantom thief doesn't mean he can't act the part, snatching Eri away from Overhaul before he can even try to intimidate Midorang and Lemillion. Completely baffled, Overhaul can do little more than play it off like he was looking for his runaway daughter.
  • Overhaul manages to show both that he's not a villain to be messed with unless you're either incredibly strong or have a death wish... And that he doesn't always kill those that fail him if they show they have talents worth keeping in his organization. Just ask Bobbles and Laughs. Well... Bobbles at any rate.
  • Necronomicon proves just how potent her Quirk is when she's able to properly break down Eri's Quirk without even seeing it in action.

Chapter 69: To Erase a Quirk
  • We see some of Class 1-A working together to help deal with a duo of giant villains that had started brawling with each other. It ends with Midorang and Tsukuyomi tying both of them up and Milady conking them out with her psychic powers before Uravity deals the finishing blow.
  • Midorang has successfully learned how to access 100% of One For All.
  • Valjean shows off his Chain Link Quirk to tie up the giant villains.
  • During negotiations with Overhaul, it becomes clear real quick that Infinite is in total control of the situation, with Vector being the only other person in the room aware of it.
  • During the sudden riot Fat Gum and his team try to break up, Red Riot uses his Hardening Quirk to protect Uravity from what seems to be a bullet.
  • However, Ingenium realizes that's not a normal bullet. Earlier another such bullet rebounded off his armor and into the crowd. Just the fact that the "bullet" didn't leave a normal impact on his armor told Ingenium all he needed to know.
  • As Red Riot unleashes his new Unbreakable form, Ingenium takes the chance to get the civilians out of the line of fire while his partner holds off the blade villain.

     Chapter 70: A Disease Can't Be Beneficial
  • Points for Jackie using her Quirk to outwit Nemoto. Because of that, Vector and Infinite are able to lie to his face about possibly betraying the Shie Hassaikai.
  • Infinite proves he's just as smart as Izuku, easily deducing a facet of Overhaul's character (the fact that he's a germaphobe) just from observing him.
  • A small moment, but Depestilous using his Quirk to restore the unfortunate thugs merged into cars by Overhaul is pretty impressive.
  • Another Quirk countering another, but it turns out Izuku can easily heal from Eri's Rewind. Even his skull only winds up bleached.
  • Waldo manages to make off with Eri right under Seeker's nose. Considering Seeker's Quirk can pick up on criminal intent, that's very impressive.
  • Even then, such a scenario was planned for by Valjean, who made sure Eri had a tracker on her.

Chapter 71: The Raid Begins, Chamber the Eight Bullets
  • With a few days to prep for the raid, the students train as hard as they can, to the point where Yuga starts to feel something burning inside him.
  • Toshi calls up Sasaki to let him know that Endo Hound will be joining the raid.
  • Crimson Death has every confidence that Eri has enough power to help the heroes bring down Overhaul.
  • The heroes start dismantling Overhaul's operations away from his HQ, to trick him into thinking they don't know where he is.
  • As the raid begins, the students are given full authority to arrest and yakuza they bring down, showing just how much the pros trust them with that responsibility.
  • Void's plan to circumvent The Mob Boss Is Scarier? Prove that he isn't, by successfully arresting him.
  • Even using a copy (which he doesn't know yet), Overhaul is still able to perfect his Quirk-erasing formula. What he doesn't know? Eri is actually inside that room, hidden by Waldo's Quirk.
  • As Katsukame emerges to defend the entrance, Zorro moves in to counter him. This is the first of several instances of the main Shadows being counters to the Eight Bullets.
  • Necronomicon's not left out, being able to track Mimic no matter where he is in the hideout.

Chapter 72: Suneater, Rising With the Dark Nuclear Thunder
  • During the early parts of the raid, we see Grape Juice and Cellophane easily take down several grunts by sticking them to walls. Earphone Jack and Invisible Girl put their own skills to use as well. Captain Sparkle gets his own victory when he blasts another grunt's concrete wall.
  • Foresight and Sir Nighteye use their Seer abilities to detect the hidden pathway to Overhaul's main office. Once Sir Nighteye opens it, Foresight immediately takes out three grunts hiding just inside.
  • Sugarman, Midorang, Red Riot, and Dynamite all blast down a large wall created by Overhaul's Quirk.
  • Just as Setsuno thinks he's free to wail on the police since they don't want to risk losing their guns to his Quirk, he gets stopped by Arsene. Turns out his Quirk is perfect for countering a petty thief that can literally steal anything solid.
  • Arsene then proves how powerful his Quirk is when he warps the police and most of the heroes past the Garbage Trio, letting them move on.
  • Johanna unleashes her full nuclear assault to blast her way through Hojo's Quirk.
  • Tabe's attempts to eat his way through Suneater's attack proves useless when Captain Kidd unleashes an electric attack right in Tabe's mouth.
  • Arsene puts the final nail in the coffin once Setsuno realizes he's the only one of his group still standing. Turns out for all his talk about the Garbage Trio being willing to fight to the death, they didn't last long enough to try.
  • Even better is Arsene's retort to Setsuno's ideology, straight outta Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.
Arsene: "You're not the only one chained to hell. Each of us here has stared into the abyss at one time or another. The difference is, when the abyss stared back at you... You blinked!"

Chapter 73: Red Riot, the Psychic Spear and Frozen Shield
  • Infinite and the League killing a number of the yakuza grunts actually starts to avert The Mob Boss Is Scarier.
  • After Rappa breaks through Red Riot's Unbreakable ability, Goemon proves an effective shield by icing over Rappa's shoulders.
  • When Goemon tries his hand at offense, Tengai is able to block the ice attacks.
  • Unfortunately, his barrier is no defense against Milady, who proves the ultimate spear thanks to her psychic powers.
  • Red Riot manages to push through his pain, aided by Goemon icing over his injuries to numb them, and manages to hold against Rappa's attacks without budging.
  • In spite of the cold created by Goemon's Ice Age ultimate, Milady is able to weather it without issue.
  • Just when Tengai thinks he's effectively blocked Red Riot's punch, the Sturdy Hero points out he wasn't even putting that much effort into it, only buying time for Fat Gum to make his own attack.
  • Even better, Red Riot is still standing as the chapter ends.

Chapter 74: Heights Alliance vs The League of Villains
  • It turns out One For All has a unique feature to it that was in place before it was even One For All... The ability to be shared with multiple people, thus sharing strength. And as it is now, that means Midorang can share all his Quirks with anyone he mixes his blood with. Including Regeneration. Cue Red Riot getting his wounds healed.
  • The fight between the League of Villains and the newly renamed Heights Alliance:
    • Red Riot vs Wolfram. Wolfram starts pulling metal pipes out of the walls as Red Riot hardens up to block the attack.
    • Creati vs Toxic Chainsaw. Creati fends off Toxic Chainsaw's trademark weapon by creating armor from her body (via a new costume made from genetic fibers).
    • Froppy vs Innsmouth. Unlike their last encounter, Froppy is able to beat Innsmouth easily due to how strong she's been getting.
    • Grape Juice vs Jackie. Despite Jackie's sex appeal, Grape Juice is able to ignore it and pin her to the wall with his sticky spheres.
    • Freezerburn vs Vector. It's practically a curb-stomp with how easily Freezerburn can destroy almost any pathogen Vector can control due to extreme temperatures.
    • Anima vs Gorefield. While Anima himself is no match for Gorefield, he does have backup in the form of Bugsy the bear and Felix the tabby, both of whom are powerhouses.
    • Dynamite vs Ableblade. A near draw, the two enjoying their fight together.
    • Tsukuyomi vs Daybreaker. Again, an even match, with Daybreaker even admitting Tsukuyomi is a Worthy Opponent.
    • Alien Queen vs Magne. The duo find time to compliment each other during their fight.
    • Sugarman vs Bad Humor. Despite being buried in ice cream, Sugarman is able to eat his way out without issue, even growing stronger for it.
    • Tentacole vs Waldo. Tentacole's extra sensory organs are able to see through Waldo's anti-memetic aura, and his reaction speed is enough to counter Waldo's teleportation.
    • Chargebolt vs Herr Chirurg. Chargebolt delivers another curb-stomp due to Herr Chirurg being vulnerable to electric shocks.
    • Tailman vs Gear Woman. Both are martial artists and both have advantages that keep the fight even.
    • Cellophane vs Twice. Cellophane has Twice on the ropes due to tying up all his clones, until Gear Woman gives Twice a pep talk that helps him take control of his mind, and thus his Quirk.
    • Invisible Girl vs Cockatrice. Since Cockatrice can't see Invisible Girl, he can't freeze her in stone and keeps getting blindsided.
    • Ingenium vs Yule Man. Ingenium's speed is enough to outright Yule Man's ice blasts.
    • Captain Sparkle vs Operatic. At first Operatic has the upper hand... Until Captain Sparkle suddenly experiences a Quirk mutation that lets him fire his lasers from his hands.
    • Earphone Jack vs Graffiti. Earphone Jack is able to track her opponent through the walls and injure him even while a chalk drawing by sending vibrations into them.
    • Uravity vs Foxfire. Uravity is able to hold her own against Foxfire's illusions and claws, while striking back with a variety of floating projectiles.
    • Midorang vs Infinite. Their battle is so strong the electricity from them nearly eclipses the other fights.
  • Even when Cockatrice accidentally hits Midorang (he was sweeping the area with his Stone Vision trying to hit Invisible Girl), Midorang breaks out in only a few seconds. Cockatrice is shocked, since it normally takes five minutes for the stone freezing to wear off.

Chapter 75: Fire and Light, Lemillion's Ignition
  • Necronomicon manages to expose Mimic to Eraser Head using an attack that's a perfect Shout-Out to her All-Out Attack animation.
  • Rock Lock gets to show off his own Quirk to catch Mimic as he falls to the ground.
  • Because of his near constant drunken state, Sakaki is able to evade Danger Sense.
  • Carmen shows her own skill when she takes advantage of the high proof alcohol Sakaki is drinking to light him up. Not only does the sudden confusion nullify Sakaki's Quirk, but Carmen shows great control by engulfing him without immolating him.
  • When Nemoto starts to open fire on the heroes, they just No-Sell it. Midorang just heals from the wounds, Lemillion and Arsene phase through the bullets, and Carmen turns them to slag in midair with her fire manipulation.
  • When Nemoto tries to use his Quirk instead, he gets interrupted by Cendrillon, who blinds him to disorient him, thus making him unable to concentrate.
  • Nemoto is able to collect himself and try a Breaking Speech on Cendrillon regarding her deceased sister... Only for her to complete the sob story he was weaving without missing a beat because she'd long moved past it.
  • She gives another Shut Up, Hannibal! moment when Nemoto tries to lay all the blame on her, since he's a Hypocrite for removing other people's lies while keeping all his own. She then blasts Nemoto with the full force of her Quirk.
  • Lemillion gets in an early hit on Overhaul and Chronostasis, albeit he only nicks the former.
  • When Chronostasis tries to hit Arsene with the Quirk-erasing bullet (the perfected version, mind you), his bullet gets hit out of the air by a MTF agent named Bridgette, thanks to her Quirk which gives her incredible good luck.
  • Earlier in the fight Overhaul blew away most of Midorang's torso (with the exception of his indestructible skull and spine, but Overhaul brushed that off as him slipping). When Chronostasis tries to fire a second Quirk-erasing at Bridgette, Midorang regrows his upper body almost instantly, arm-first, and uses Blackwhip to tie up Chrono's arms and stop him from firing.
  • Midorang's Badass Boast once he learns that not even Overhaul can kill him.
Midorang: "I won't be letting you get off another shot! You've already fired your last drug, Overhaul!"

Chapter 76: Invincible For a Reason
  • Red Shift was included in the raid, and uses some of Overhaul's blood to briefly turn into him just long enough to repair the hideout and make it easier to navigate.
  • Midorang draws first blood against Overhaul with a powerful headbutt that leaves the villain's legs staggering.
  • Lemillion takes advantage of still having his Quirk to knock down Chronostasis, who barely manages to play possum while trying to find Eri so Overhaul can retrieve her.
  • Once Kurono finds Eri being handed off to Sir Nighteye, he manages to use his Quirk to hit both him and Arsene. Fortunately, Valjean pulls a Big Damn Heroes moment and chains up Kurono.
  • Overhaul tries to take advantage of Kurono's strike to kill Arsene and Sir Nighteye. While he does get Sasaki, Arsene had already started triggering his Quirk, and had just enough time to become fully intangible when Overhaul attacked.
  • Midorang makes use of Smokescreen to keep Overhaul from targeting his attacks, turning his normal berserk attacks into a weakness.
  • When Overhaul fuses with Nemoto, the pure malice nearly overwhelms Danger Sense.
  • In order to combat Overhaul's fused form, Midorang shares One For All with Lemillion. This in turn lets Midorang borrow Permeation. The duo make great use of this to frustrate Overhaul.
  • When Overhaul tries to make use of Nemoto to make Eri feel guilty and come back just to avoid anyone else dying, Eri pulls off a Shut Up, Hannibal!, stating that Overhaul never needed a reason to kill anyone, just an excuse. The best part? It was her mother that inspired her to do this.
  • Eri even accuses Overhaul of betraying her grandpa (who keep in mind Overhaul still sees as a surrogate father). The very idea of it sends Overhaul into a rage, insisting that he was only doing what was best for both the oyabun and the Shie Hassaikai.
  • What's even more awesome is that Overhaul can do nothing to pull a Shut Up, Kirk!, since Nemoto's Quirk was active throughout Eri's entire "The Reason You Suck" Speech, meaning all of it was 100% true. Overhaul flips out.
  • When Overhaul accuses Gear Woman of turning Eri against him like a common hero, Midorang retorts thusly.
  • Lemillion declares their intent to save everyone Overhaul intends to hurt or kill before slamming his fist into Overhaul's face.

Chapter 77: Break Through the Limits
  • Zorro is able to use a wall of wind to block a powered-up Katsukame.
  • Just as the Quirk booster given to Katsukame starts to go into effect, his attempts to suck in Zorro's vitality is turned against him when Zorro creates a vacuum to temporarily halt his breathing.
  • With Ryukyu easily overpowering Katsukame and Nejire Chan blasting him from behind, Zorro delivers the coupe de grace with a powerful whirlwind.
  • Midorang is able to get Eri close enough to Overhaul to undo his fusion with Nemoto.
  • Angered by Midorang accusing him of not understanding heroes or villains, Overhaul decides to take Midorang's advice to take something by force. Namely, Midorang's life, which immediately proves useless as his attempts to kill Midorang are stymied by Eri's new confidence helping her to finally control her Quirk to a degree.
  • As Overhaul declares that he needs Eri to return the yakuza to its glory days, he namedrops a few people from the Yakuza series. Infinite, however, says Overhaul can't hold a candle to any of them. After all, they were all Anti-Heroes or Anti-Villains, while Overhaul is just straight-up evil, having never helped a single person for altruistic reasons.
  • When Zorro realizes that One For All can be shared, including both parties' Quirks, he gets the bright idea to have the entire Heights Alliance share One For All to deal with Overhaul's fusion with Katsukame. Midorang goes for it with an epic line.
Midorang: "Let our blood be bound! As one for all and all for one, and Heaven bless the land!"
  • Overhaul's claim that only he knows how to use Eri's power to its full extent is Instantly Proven Wrong when the Heights Alliance appears, all of them charged up with each other's Quirks, and Midorang himself kept stable with Eri's Quirk. Overhaul was in fact only inhibiting her with his abuse, but when Eri is calm and mentally stable, she can accomplish amazing things. Overhaul is shocked, since he still sees Quirks as a disease, and diseases shouldn't react to emotions (which in itself is factually incorrect). He suddenly remembers Vector's words that she can't manipulate Quirk factors, because they're not a disease.
  • The UA Smash. That is all.
  • As if getting hit by nineteen right hooks wasn't painful enough, Overhaul gets hit even harder when Midorang unleashes his Rising Sun Smash, while channeling the vestiges of the previous One For All holders!
  • The last thing Overhaul sees before he loses consciousness is Eri, admonishing him for not repaying the oyabun's kindness by taking care of her like he wanted, before splitting him from Katsukame. Painfully.
Overhaul: "All I ever wanted was to repay the boss's kindness for taking me in off the streets... But he also warned that I kept taking things too far...Oyabun...I'm sorry... I only wanted to make your dream a reality..."

     Chapter 78: Polaris
  • Valjean manages to avert Chronostasis's Dragon Their Feet moment from canon.
  • Much like in canon, the League pulls off a skilled interception of the police convoy transporting Overhaul to prison. The major difference is that this time they don't kill anyone, making the moment even more awesome.
  • Foxfire show excellent intimidation when she uses her new arm to freak-out Overhaul just by grabbing his face and implying the new arm is even stronger than her old one.
  • Infinite then does something different than canon. Rather than outright destroy Overhaul's hands, thus robbing him of his Quirk, he implants a delayed effect from Virtual Reality that will destroy Overhaul's hands the next time he uses his Quirk. Meaning he gets one chance to revive his boss.

     Chapter 79: The Living Anomaly

Chapter 80: Children of the Future
  • When dealing with the kids, Inasa, Camie, Shoto, and Katsuki huddle up. While the leader of the kids thinks they're nothing special, the discussion they hold proves otherwise. It really shows how the four of them have clear heads and can reach a goal without resorting to violence. Also, they ignore the kid's taunts even though he broadcast them loud enough for them to hear, showing they can reign in their emotions.

     Chapter 81: Aoyama's Evolution
  • Even with how much control the kids have over their Quirks, Amelia notes they lack actual strength, and muses how evolution is working overtime to ensure humans can keep up with stronger and stronger superpowers, preventing global Quirk Singularity.
  • Once again the junior heroes work together to make a giant ice slide for the kids to show just how important experience is to Quirk usage. This time Katsuki even gets to join in by launching fireworks from his hands.
  • Koji's animal partners gain powerful attacks of their own, with Felix being able to briefly turn into a real tiger.
  • After some silly antics involving Yuga, Izuku learns why. Yuga's Quirk has evolved, letting him fire lasers from almost every part of his body, going from Navel Laser to Sparkling Laser.

Chapter 82: Preparing for the Culture Festival
  • Eri finds the strength to talk about the Quirk accident that claimed her father's life.
  • We get introduced to Gentle Criminal... Who somehow mops the floor with powerhouses like Mechacain (who can reflect damage done to him), Vigorshy (who has incredibly thick skin), Swift Sculpt (who has concrete-like skin), and Infablaze (who can literally turn into fire). Beyond the Impossible indeed.

     Chapter 83: Let's Make a Rocking Concert
  • Class 1-A is able to plan out their concert for the culture festival, with each person contributing something, such as Yuga and Izuku creating a makeshift disco ball.
  • Kyoka's singing. Just the sound of her voice seems to create a blinding light that leaves the class awestruck and is described as making the sun look like a candle.
  • Izuku starts to develop his Shoot Style (or rather, the Tohoku Smash), and it comes out much more powerful than canon.

     Chapter 84: Eri and UA
  • For Class 1-B's contribution to the culture festival, Hitoshi puts together a well-made mystery theater production, based on a screen-play he wrote back in middle school.
  • Instead of Nezu begging the police not to cancel the culture festival, All Might berates them for thinking in terms of security instead of peace.
  • The fact that the hero course has enough strength of will to not call out the other classes for unfairly blaming them for UA's problems.
  • Gentle lays out his plan for La Brava regarding infiltrating UA and stealing random documents (which they intend to shred afterward to avoid dangerous leaks). It's well-thought out to be sure.

     Chapter 85: Sudden Sighting
  • Izuku is able to recognize Gentle not long after bumping into him. Without hesitation (and using one of Hatsume's drones to deliver the dry ice he had ordered), Izuku declares his intent to stand in Gentle's way.
  • Despite Gentle's elastic barrier, Izuku is still able to come within inches of striking Gentle.
  • Gentle tries to rebound Izuku away to stall him, only for Izuku to stop himself in midair using Float. Gentle immediately realizes he and La Brava need to leave.
  • When Gentle tries to argue that his infiltration wouldn't harm the cultural festival, Izuku points out just shutting down the security will prompt a cancelation.
  • With no time to continue his arguments, Gentle opts to instead try to keep Izuku in place by dropping an I-beam from the construction site their in. Unfortunately for him, Izuku is able to catch it using Blackwhip rather than his own strength.

Chapter 86: Love and Peace, Not One or the Other

     Chapter 87: Hero Too
  • The entirety of the titular song was included! And still enough timing for the accompanying narration.

     Chapter 88: Starmaker
  • While also a somber moment, the fact that All For One is dead for good means the world can move on from his evil. That alone is an awesome moment.
  • The battle against the seventh Nomu, culminating in Elle-Ate dealing him an appropriate defeat considering he's a Blood Knight. She just touches him and forces him into a state of tranquility.
  • Having failed to tame Gigantomachia the first time, the League of Villains decides to temporarily disappear and train for a couple years, until they can be proper leaders of the underground.

Chapter 89: Second Year Summer Vacation
  • The opening is straight out of Persona 5 Strikers, only with Midorang in Joker's place. We also get a hint that he's somehow gotten a new power, able to jump with greater power than One For All or Regeneration could give him, even combined. He hints that it came from a new belt he obtained, and even mentions Sophia.
  • Returning to how the whole thing started, we see Midorang, Zorro, Arsene, and Captain Kidd get sucked into an Altered World Event and escape from mysterious guards via Arsene warping them below ground. It turns out the mysterious other world empowers Quirks too.
  • Once Midorang is introduced to the AI Sophia, we see what the belt from the intro is. Called the Zero Driver (or at least that's the name he ultimately settles on), it lets him use several new Quirks via Progrise Keys. The first of these is the Jump Quirk, which he uses against a member of the villain group Twisted Metal (a group of demolition derby enthusiasts who think nothing of holding their derbies in public places to cause collateral damage, and who were drawn into the Underworlds that make up the AWE by bonding them with mysterious spirits).

Chapter 90: Bully of the Church
  • In spite of the tension surrounding Alice at the TV studio, it's pretty cool to see that Midorang has gotten strong enough that Danger Sense can pick up on passive aggression instead of just outright hostility.
  • We see that Alice actually has a boyfriend. This means she's long gotten past the bullying she suffered in high school.
  • In addition, Sophia is able to detect the fluctuations in the AWE within seconds of them occurring.
  • As the team gets ready to infiltrate the Shibuya Underworld, Valjean gives them some exciting news... They've all been approved for weapons licenses. Only Futaba opts out, since weapons don't suit her like the others.
  • It turns out the Underworlds are well-designed, built so that only a specific sequence can be used to reach the end and averting the Dungeon Bypass. For example, while Midorang can survive machine gun fire, the ones guarding the main castle fire so fast it would be impossible for him to just run past them and tank the hits. And giant gates he'd normally be able to dead-lift are suddenly too heavy even for him.
  • According to Goemon, it took the Shadows some time to get used to the "Thieves' Highway", but Midorang figures it out through clever use of Jump.
  • The other Progrise Keys had apparently been stolen and scattered across the Underworlds, but it's not long before Midorang finds the second one... The Bullet Quirk, which lets him fire energy bolts from his hand. As if to catch two bugs with the same net, the Progrise Keys are being used as power sources inside the Underworlds, so grabbing them shuts down some of the power.
  • Necronomicon proves the power of her Quirk when she's able to hack her way into the second control tower even in an AWE.
  • The next key grants Midorang the Dash Quirk, which is pretty much a standard Super-Speed power.
  • The one after that is even better. The Wing Quirk, which combined with Float gives Midorang exceptional aerial control.
  • As the Underworld goes on high alert following the retrieval (or as the Underworld Monarch sees it, theft) of the Progrise Keys, Midorang is able to help the team escape by using a quick burst of Smokescreen.
  • This leads into the intro from the last chapter, except unlike Joker getting volunteered by his team, Izuku volunteered on his own. Alice even gets in on it, wanting to put a stop the shenanigans plaguing Shibuya.
  • Once caught up, we see Midorang putting his new Quirks to good use, even combining them with his fighting style. The fight ends with him using Wing and his Rising Sun Smash to clear out the entire Underworld version of Shibuya Crossing.
  • How does one expose the Monarch ruling the Underworld? Find out a Monarch's real name and you will break open the cage keeping the Monarch safe in their castle.
  • The Shibuya Monarch in this case is Aira Otohime, an old bully of Alice's. When Otohime hears a report from Valjean's agency, she thinks she's about to hear about Alice being targeted as a suspect for the rash of psychological breakdowns. The smile is wiped from her face when it turns out Otohime herself is the prime suspect, much to her shock and confusion (it's impossible for the target of an Underworld to enter said Underworld, unless they piggyback off an officially licensed hero that can enter).
  • Credit to Queen of Hearts, it takes guts to be a Quirkless villain without any real superpowers. Even Operatic and Heart Piecer rely on Objects of Power.
  • When Queen of Hearts rages at Snicker-Snack, the latter just doesn't care enough to even get mad. She's long moved past the bullying and become strong on her own. She proceeds to show how strong by easily overpowering Queen of Hearts, who is an accomplished athlete. Midorang finishes the job, appropriately, with his trademark right straight, the Shibuya Smash.

Chapter 91: Road Trip, Arrival in Sendai
  • This is the first chapter where Valjean mentions Reaper, who turns out to be the Arc Villain for this part of the story. His Mindscape Quirk is the source of the Underworld, created from years of built up spirit energy absorbed from the collective unconscious of the masses.
  • With the Underworlds being present in multiple locations, the O5 Council scrambles Japan's heroes into one massive task force, spearheaded by the Shadows.
  • As for how EMMA (who has undergone Adaptational Heroism in this setting) is able to connect to Underworlds? Someone created a bootleg that's identical enough in coding to access EMMA via backdoor. However, the connection works both ways, which is how those with a hero license can access any Underworld they aren't directly locked out of.
  • The Shadows' ride for their road trip? An anomalous camper called the Diner Dreams, which is Bigger on the Inside to accommodate parties of up to fifteen!
  • When we hear about Ango in Sendai, it turns out he was able to win a literary award on his own merits. His work in this reality is legitimately good, and there's actually no plagiarism involved.

     Chapter 92: The Serpent's Castle
  • Goemon explains why this world's version of "Prince of Nightmares" is actually a good novel. It plays with all the typical fantasy tropes... Before revealing that it was invoked by the main character, an Isekai protagonist thrust into the role of demon overlord, to keep a group of fanatical heroes busy while he opened trade negotiations with other countries.
  • Just as the second of the Quirky Miniboss Squad makes her appearance, Midorang once again defies Talking Is a Free Action to showcase a new Progrise Key... The Poison Quirk, giving Midorang more options for incapacitating villains via a poison-spitting tail.
  • When faced with a series of spy eyes protecting the path forward, Earphone Jack easily disrupts all of them with her ultimate skill.
  • Bobbles returns, taking Reaper's place in the Twisted Metal team lineup. And he proves he's more than a joke when he manages to escape the heroes after a pitched battle.
  • During the fight, Midorang grabs the next Progrise Key and gains the Breakhorn Quirk, which gives him powerful extending horns from his arms.
  • The final Progrise Key for this Underworld gives Midorang the Blow Quirk, which creates energy horns perfect for powerful charging headbutts.
  • The story gives a tangible reason for the team leaving to take a break after disabling all the towers... Once the three "proofs" are collected the castle unleashes a deadly miasma that takes hours to dissipate.
  • Much like how Queen of Hearts was a former member of the long defunct Church of the Broken God, the new villain Fine Print, real name Kiyomasa Niwatori, is shown to be a member of the Serpent's Hand. And he's just as impressive as Queen of Hearts since, while he does have a Quirk, it's not one suited to being a villain or hero. He is just as dangerous regardless.
  • That said, he's no match for Tempest, the hero he was trying to ruin. Not only does Tempest give Fine Print a "The Reason You Suck" Speech for only doing the bare minimum in terms of being a publishing editor, he uses his Quirk to trap Fine Print in a binding rune long enough for Midorang to take him down with his left hook, the Sendai Smash.

Chapter 93: Tanabata and New Meetings
  • In this reality Kuon Ichinose is replaced as a confidant for the group by Akira Konoe, aka Kamen Rider Zephyr. Yes, it turns out the legacy of both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider exist in this universe, and have been going on for centuries past the current seasons.
  • While Konoe still bought EMMA from Ichinose, he did something he never could in canon... He corrected the flaw that prevented EMMA from truly empathizing with human emotions.
  • He also mentions to himself about Izuku's heroic legacy, being a descendant of Kamen Rider Zero-One. Given Aruto Hiden's personality, it's not hard to imagine.

     Chapter 94: Snowfall in Sapporo
  • The villain in Sapporo proves to be more subtle than the previous two. Rather than outwardly trying to ruin their nemesis by affecting the people at large, this one just tries to influence the mayoral cabinet, as their chosen nemesis doubles as the city's mayor. It's not until the elections draw near that the city at large starts to get influenced.
  • In canon the Phantom Thieves getting Mariko's EMMA keyword through her mayoral speech was simply good judgment. Here, it was a deliberate ploy on Mariko's part. Since she knows she's being monitored by members of the conspiracy manipulating the AWE, she gives her keyword out by the thousands, knowing the Shadows and Heights Alliance will be there to overhear it and circumvent the monitoring.
  • The next Progrise Key gives Midorang access to elemental manipulation in the form of the Wave Quirk, which can create oceanic currents by generating water, perfect for surfing.
  • After that comes the Burst Quirk, which more or less lets Midorang emulate Dynamite via launching powerful explosives.
  • The third Progrise Key for the Underworld grants the Hurricane Quirk, which lets Midorang manipulate gale force winds.
  • Most of the arrival of the hee-horde of Jack Frosts is more funny than awesome, but what is awesome is that they're able to stall the heroes through sheer numbers.

     Chapter 95: Icy Chaos
  • We finally get into our first real villain from the Chaos Insurgency (Gustav doesn't count because for one, he came from an alternate reality, and two, he cut ties with the Insurgency to work for All For One). Ryudo Naruhodo, aka Arctic, is only capable of altering temperature, but it's still a more powerful Quirk than Fine Print's, and unlike both Fine Print and Queen of Hearts he's had actual combat training.
  • Mariko proves to be a skilled hero as well as a politician. Not only does she cause her rival to back down by pointing out that her resigning from office would allow her to focus more on her work as a hero, and thus be able to shut him down, she outmaneuvers Arctic by tying him up in a pointless search for evidence that his government practices are common to do a thorough background check on him.
  • As Winterhold, she proves even better, completely No-Selling Arctic's attempts to overheat her, distracting him long enough for Midorang to nail him with his uppercut, the Sapporo Smash.
  • With three incidents, the team is able to put the pieces together, starting to connect the whole incident to a centuries-old heist mystery called Case File No.638.

Chapter 96: Second Generation Chain Hero
  • It turns out Valjean never stopped hunting for his wife's killer. When his job as a detective was halted by political red tape, he turned to his hero career, which by law can't be tied up by Obstructive Bureaucrats.
  • While also a funny moment, it's pretty awesome that the Heights Alliance already has their own merchandise despite only being in their second year of high school.

     Chapter 97: Okinawa's Hassaikai Remnant
  • The fact that one hero could be so good at his job that he literally creates a tropical paradise from a tiny settlement. That's how influential Tropicana, aka Shuzo Ubukata, is.
  • Unlike canon, where Sophia couldn't detect the Okinawa Jail until it "woke up", here she's able to detect the Okinawa Underworld from just a faint signal.
  • Instead of Valjean, it's Izuku that picks up on the growing hostility of the locals via Danger Sense, tipping off the heroes that something is very wrong.
  • Even though this Underworld doesn't have energy towers to power it, it does have Progrise Keys. Midorang gets his own copy of the Search Quirk though the first one.
  • Next up is the Hunt Quirk, which lets Midorang duplicate himself to cover more ground.
  • Finally there's the Hard Quirk, which improves Midorang's durability.
  • The villain Octagon, a former member of the Shie Hassaikai and the first villain Reaper gave an Underworld too, managed to trap Tropicana by committing suicide in such a way as to bury his name so that Tropicana couldn't save the people of his town from the Underworld's influence. Considering Octagon is a follower of Overhaul, that shows dedication to his boss (it's established that all the previous heroes were investigating the villain groups the Underworld Monarchs were a part of).
  • Bobbles shows up again, and this time is successfully caught with no way to weasel his way out, with Midorang knocking him for a loop with his spinning lariat, the Okinawa Smash. The heroes even manage to use his phone to find Octagon's name, Akihiko Kanzaki, and undo the Underworld's influence.

     Chapter 98: Return to Kyoto
  • With how crazy Haru drivers, how did she even earn her license? Turns out she actually aced her driving test by being polite with the proctor and not driving like she was in a video game.
  • When Jyun Owada learned Valjean was not backing down in his investigation, he tried to make good on his promised threat on Akane's life. He was later sent pictures of his chosen assassins wrapped up in Valjean's chains. Coward that he is, he decided now would be a good time to go underground.

Chapter 99: The Force of Twin Chains, Osaka Bound
  • Akane, granted permission to use her Quirk by Zorro, does great as the hero Cosette, showing just how much she learned from her father.
  • Despite getting surrounded shortly after entering the Kyoto Underworld, the heroes are able to make quick work of the construct guards inhabiting it.
  • It turns out even with all the mental energy he's absorbed, Reaper needs a bit more power to fully flesh out an Underworld. So he draws a little bit more energy from the Progrise Keys, which is why they're power sources for the Underworlds' various functions.
  • The first Progrise Key for the Kyoto Underworld is the Electric Quirk. Self-explanatory.
  • Next up is the Scissors Quirk, twin blades that can extend from Midorang's wrists.
  • As if Midorang wasn't strong enough already, the final Kyoto-based Progrise Key is the Strong Quirk.
  • Valjean and Cosette work together to exact some karmic justice on Owada, aka Bishop, using their Quirks in a combination attack. Midorang quickly follows up with his open palm strike, the Kyoto Smash.
  • Moving to the Osaka Underworld, Midorang gains the Thunder Quirk, which creates powerful shockwaves.
  • The next Progrise Key grants the Power Quirk, which improves punching power.
  • Finally, Midorang obtains the Progrise Key for the Revolver Quirk, which fires spikes from both his wrists.
  • The Shadows and Heights Alliance get shocked when it turns out the Monarch of the Osaka Underworld is affiliated with the Meta Liberation Army. Even worse, it's Akira's father Mejo, who cheated death at his son's hands thanks to a Quirk that can revive him from any form of death other than old age.

     Chapter 100: Real Eyez
  • After Deathless finds out that the heroes have discovered he's still alive, he tries to get help from Re-Destro, only for the leader of the MLA to deliver an epic "The Reason You Suck" Speech and cut him from the MLA entirely.
  • Akira gives Deathless one hell of a verbal beatdown, too. It's clear he's done living in fear of his terrible father.
  • Akira transforming into Kamen Rider Zephyr is treated as just as much of a celebration as any other Kamen Rider. The Protector even acts as a Shout-Out to the original Kamen Rider's Typhoon.
  • Deathless created a robot designed to counter anything Zephyr could throw at him... But only from the front, as Midorang makes use of the Quirks he's gained to aid Zephyr in beating Deathless.
  • We learn how Korenosuke, Izuku's grandfather, got all those Quirks onto the Progrise Keys... He tricked All For One into doing it for him using some of the company's Humagears.
  • When Reaper and Ichinose unleash the AWE to its maximum, the heroes start going in full force.
  • Midorang keeps getting new powers. Next is the Territory Quirk, basically an organic web-shooter.
  • Ichinose, aka White Diamond, reveals her own Quirk, the powerful Diamond Laser, which is strong to create a shockwave to knock the heroes lower down in the Underworld in spite of Freezerburn blocking it with his strongest ice.
  • The next Progrise Key is the Pocket Quirk, basically a Hammerspace that can give Midorang whatever tools he needs for a particular job.
  • Finally, Midorang showcases the Fang Quirk, a powerful set of energy jaws strong enough to block Diamond Laser.
  • Reaper unveils the final Underworld in the heart of Tokyo, enacting his plan to exploit EMMA to find the location of his ancestor's hidden treasure stash.
  • The Tokyo Underworld has the final three Progrise Keys. First is the Fire Quirk, which Midorang uses to launch two Twisted Metal villains.
  • The second is the Blizzard Quirk, which he uses to freeze another villain.
  • Once the robotic defender of the EMMA server shows itself, Midorang makes use of the final Progrise Key. This gives him the Press Quirk, which makes him grow giant. Not as giant as a Gigantification Quirk, but giant enough to take on the robot. While Midorang grapples with the robot, the other heroes launch their own attack to bring it down.
  • At the end, Midorang tracks down Reaper back to Okinawa, knocking him out with a final knee strike to the villain's jaw.

     Chapter 101: Training is Needed
  • The entire six-chapter arc is basically one big love letter to One Piece's Return to Sabaody arc.
  • Indeed, throughout the arc we get to see just how improved the League of Villains is. Just their improved confidence is enough to give you an idea.
  • Even when faced with a gun, Vector shows no concern for the fake League that cropped up in the two years she and her friends were off the radar. When Operatic shows up the two of them put the fakers in their place.
  • When Infinite is confronted with his own fake, he's nonchalant about it. You can tell all the anger and hatred he once had for the world just faded. It feels like he's truly become a proper villain.

Chapter 102: We're the League of Villains, You Know
  • Not only did Kendo Rappa train Gear Woman for a few months, but once he learned he had nothing more to teach her, he sent her out to gain experience as a fighter and spent the rest of the last two years protecting the League's hideout from outsiders.
  • Two years of training has allowed Infinite to master his Quirk, sending the fake Infinite and his cronies reeling with a technique called the Virtual Catastrophe, which does a good impression of Conqueror's Haki. Infinite then muses how no one in the Heights Alliance would be so easily overpowered by it.
  • When we see Ableblade helping Foxfire deal with gropers, he's grown strong enough to slice a giant titanium robot in two.

     Chapter 103: Heroes Investigate
  • One Meta Liberation Army member named Undertaker keeps his Quirk on the down low by pretending to be Quirkless and using a gimmick of burying anyone he kills on the spot. It actually keeps people from realizing he and his brother are MLA agents since obviously such a group wouldn't employ Quirkless operatives.
  • Toxic Chainsaw completely retrofits the hideout so it can fly and turn invisible.

Chapter 104: Second Raid, Target the League
  • As the fake League makes their plans to start a hostile takeover, the real League and a whole mess of heroes start converging to ruin their plans.
  • One brave cop remains Defiant to the End when caught by the fake League and about to be killed, letting them know he's long called for backup and they'll be arriving before long.

Chapter 105: Midorang, the New Symbol of Peace
  • The fake Infinite (or as he's really known, Silver Tongue) may be a wimp, but he does have one thing going for him... A Quirk that let's people believe anything he says, which lets him trick dozens of villains into fighting on his behalf.
  • Among the heroes performing the raid? All Might, making one last heroic action before he officially retires.
  • Midorang's Dynamic Entry gives the world a taste of their new Symbol of Peace. The MLA agent Quagmire thinks he can take him (he has a Quirk that makes his body act like quicksand) only for Midorang to halt his attempt using the Blizzard Quirk.
  • Undertaker tries to use his own Quirk to take out Midorang in revenge for his brother... Only for All Might to coldcock him from behind with one strike.
  • Midorang then proceeds to block the fake League's escape using Territory, completely ignores Silver Tongue's Quirk due to still acting like Infinite (he spouts a bunch of falsehoods Midorang knows Infinite wouldn't say, including referring to himself as "Shigaraki" instead of "Shimura"), and knocks Silver Tongue out with one blow using absolutely no Quirks whatsoever.
  • When Midorang spots the real Infinite, he shows why he's the real deal by using a pseudo-digital barrier to block Midorang's attack.
  • The rest of the League of Villains then shows up to show the fakes how they really operate, before escaping in the chaos of all their teachers suddenly showing up out of the blue.

Chapter 106: Dropping the Old Guard
  • How does the Foundation deal with Crimson Death and a whole bunch of veteran villains? They deploy the Triple Moon Unit, and expy of SCP-3922. Check out the extended test logs for said SCP to get a good idea of how badass this unit can be. Heck, Crimson Death reveals that even All For One lost to this unit.
  • The veterans that taught the League of Villains are some of the best out there, and they give their all to let the League escape. Yet it's a testament to the heroes and police units that all twenty of them are ultimately caught and arrested, even Crimson Death himself.
  • At the end of it all, Infinite has found his true villain costume, one modeled after his video game namesake.
  • It's pretty awesome to hear the League of Villains, of all people, give a Plus Ultra, a saying normally attributed to All Might and heroes in general.

Chapter 107: Gigantomachia and the Deus ex Machina
  • After one failure and two years of training, the League is able to successfully defeat Gigantomachia, earning his loyalty.
  • The discovery of the Deus Ex Machina. Instead of creating an existential crisis on a societal scale, it creates vast opportunities for historical study.
  • After Infinite has his father Kotaro Shimura revived, he gives him one hell of a "The Reason You Suck" Speech, fully disowning the man from his life.
  • When Re-Destro kidnaps Giran, he and Infinite have a verbal spar over the phone. Even Re-Destro admits that ultimately Infinite comes out of that first confrontation the winner. Infinite then starts setting up a plan to end the MLA's fallacy of a revolution.

Chapter 108: Deika City, Red Shift Investigates
  • As it turns out, Destro did inspire one person in a constructive manner... Crimson Death, who used that inspiration to subtly manipulate society in such a way that Fantastic Racism took a nosedive, even if it didn't fade out completely.
  • Infinite explains the most important part of his plan... Do not become the bad guys. Thanks to Heavy Game and Seeker learning about Slidin' Go's affiliation with the Meta Liberation Army, the heroes were already investigating him, so Infinite's plan involves aiming all eyes at the MLA as the instigators of the conflict.
  • Sure enough, Mindblank and Red Shift are already investigating Deika City, with Red Shift encountering Curious. With Mindblank brainwashing Curious's media crew to keep all eyes on the fight, Red Shift manages to trick Curious into outing herself as an MLA member.
  • Even better, the citizens get tricked into being labeled as criminal rioters due to attacking a hero (they were attacking Red Shift, who they mistakenly thought was a member of the League). Cue Curious getting wrapped up in capture tape and arrested.

     Chapter 109: Mooks No More
  • Not only is Infinite's idea of not attacking the Deika City citizens throwing Skeptic for a loop, but he freaks out further at the appearance of the Combatants, who had just been revived and recruited and are now acting as a third attacking force.
  • Twice takes it further, using Sad Man's Parade to multiply the Combatants (who are in-universe Composite Characters with the combined memories and strength of their entire species) into the massive groups familiar to Super Sentai fans.
  • Meanwhile, Geten runs afoul of Foxfire, who reveals that her artificial arm is capable of channeling Infinite's Quirk. Cue Geten being on the wrong end of a Curb-Stomp Battle.
  • When Skeptic goes out to try and handle the situation directly, he gets shocked by the arrival of the Combined Combatant. And not only is it stronger than the one fought by the Gokaigers centuries ago due to having a few more Combatants to work with, but it's also more competent due to avoiding the in-fighting that left the last Combined Combatant wide open. Skeptic is so distracted trying to call for backup, and learning that's been outed as an MLA member, that he gets impaled and ultimately killed.

     Chapter 110: The Dragonslayer
  • The titular Mecha is a four-part Combining Mecha with Midorang piloting it using Press and powering it using the rest of his Quirks. It proves more than powerful enough to deal with Gigantomachia.
  • Infinite brings down the Detnerat tower in epic fashion. Instead of it being disintegrated, it's imploded using specially placed explosive spikes.
  • Infinite delivers an epic speech to Re-Destro that completely invalidates the Meta Liberation Army's goals.
Infinite: "Say your goals are met? What sort of people will be in power? How will society be run? Do you have any long-term goals beyond your meritocracy? Are your actions focused purely on Quirk ability? People have other talents, after all. The basis for a true meritocracy is that every facet of a person's ability is taken into account, and many people have talent far beyond their Quirks."
  • As for the League, they simply want to help build a world that is equal, even for villains. Oh yeah, and both he and Re-Destro are fighting the whole time they're talking.
  • Once Trumpet uses his Quirk to power up the Deika City citizens, Infinite breaks off from Re-Destro to begin a False Flag Operation. And it's an effective one, leading the MLA soldiers into an alley where there are no cameras and then having Infinite use his Quirk to disguise the League of Villains as the Heights Alliance. While the people see the change, the news feed doesn't. Thus the citizens are tricked into fighting the real Heights Alliance on camera, getting them labeled as rioters before they even realize the ruse.

     Chapter 111: Final Collision
  • Infinite is Genre Savvy enough to know that Midorang is able to unlock all the Quirks on the Zero Driver at once, and plans to use this to create an all-out fight between the two of them to show the MLA just how wrong their idea of Quirk liberation is.
  • Credit to Re-Destro. He's completely outmatched as Midorang and Infinite wind up destroying much of Deika City just as a consequence of their fight, yet he still decides to try and stop them both by using a power armor to push his Quirk as far as he can take it.
  • Jackie puts her own Quirk to good use, sealing away the secret that Re-Destro is the leader of the MLA and instead making it look like Trumpet is the MLA's leader. With his face obscured in the media due to his power armor, Rikiya still looks like a victim in the whole scenario who had his company misused.

     Chapter 112: Live Devil
  • Somehow the Network caught wind that Re-Destro is the real leader of the Meta Liberation Army.
  • Even with graduation just a week away, the Heights Alliance continues to train, ready to take their first steps as real heroes.
  • We get our first look at Stan Edgar, and he's already analyzed the Quirks on the Zero Driver and identified all the heroes they used to belong to. Especially since they all once worked for Vought International.
  • The O5 Council is already showing concerns regarding Vought and is taking steps to deal with the issue.

     Chapter 113: Everybody's Fool
  • During the interview framing device, Queen Maeve mentions a version of the events from I'm Your Pusher. This time around Iron Cast was able to see Great Wide Wonder coming and managed to duck before the collision. Though Great Wide Wonder still died due to hitting Iron Cast's butt at high speed, which snapped his spine.
  • As it turns out, the "reporter" is actually Melissa Shield, who was able to use sympathy to get Queen Maeve to hand over a sample of Compound V so that the Foundation could create an antidote.

     Chapter 114: The Pride
  • As opposed to the cold view on Celebrity Superheroes in the previous chapter, this one shows how awesome such a thing can be. Starting with Red Riot being the host of an obstacle course-type game show based on Ultimate Beastmaster.
  • Freezerburn is shown having plenty of creative control over his own biopic, speaking with the director and both giving criticism and sometimes getting decent justification. And the biopic itself actually sounds good.
  • Eri getting to act as a Magical Girl. That is all. Well, there's also Toshi getting to play a recurring character.
  • TV-Asahi is shown making a movie about the events of the Second Summer Vacation arc.
  • The main trio of the Heights Alliance (Midorang, Dynamite, and Freezerburn) introduce the world to a recent UA graduate who's just become a Hall of Famer. A hero named Robonoid, aka Kibo Idabashi.
  • Anyone on Youtube remember the awesome charity production of series main theme "You Say Run"? In this story various heroes across Japan do something similar, all lead by Earphone Jack.
  • In a feature movie starring the Heights Alliance, they actually pull off a good version of the MCU's "girl power" scene from Avengers: Endgame.
  • Ingenium does a commercial for a new Mountain Dew flavor called Quicksilver, which uses dragon fruit flavor. Don't lie, you'd love something like that.
  • As the heroes are attending the premier of their new movie "Champions of Tomorrow", Midorang learns that the new Antidote V has just been completed. Time to start taking the fight to Vought.

     Chapter 115: The Russian Incident
  • Edgar has the perfect way to keep Homelander from prying into his secrets... He lines his office walls with zinc so x-rays won't penetrate them.
  • The newly renamed Phantom Strikers join two Russian heroes, Soda Popinski and Baba Yaga, in targeting a Chaos Insurgency cell discovered in Moscow. The two heroes prove Mother Russia Makes You Strong, but the Japanese Phantoms are no slouch, dealing with soldiers and mechs alike.
  • The first introduction to the Chaos Insurgency's Special Task Group certainly leaves a good first impression, and with a few exceptions any fight against them is a spectacle.
  • When a giant battle mech intercepts the heroes, Arsene uses a new trick he learned, warping in backup in the form of Captain Sparkle, Invisible Girl, Mindblank, and Exosphere. The four of them easily overwhelm the mech.
  • It turns out that in this universe, Soldier Boy was captured by the Chaos Insurgency, rather than Russian forces. And they used him to reverse-engineer Compound V, which is how they made their Special Task Group.
  • Soldier Boy learns the hard way that Quirked humans can't be de-powered by his nuclear blasts (and to be fair, Johanna would be immune regardless), but he's still able to hold his own for a little while, even starting to break through Exosphere's Solid Air. It's not until Mindblank uses his Quirk that he stops raging.
  • Learning that Soldier Boy's team Payback betrayed him, Arsene starts channeling his counterpart Joker and gets the beginning of a cunning plan. He proceeds to warp Soldier Boy straight to Vought.

     Chapter 116: Rules of Nature
  • Cellophane, Chargebolt, Rocketti, and Welder are deployed for an international attack on the Chaos Insurgency. And we get to see just how multi-faceted Welder's Quirk is when he uses makeshift yet effective riot shields and sends a bomb back to its owner using one of Rocketti's horns.
  • Vought has started to get with the times, having their heroes use costumes made with genetic fibers. Translucent is certainly appreciative, given how his power works.
  • Just as the mission winds down, Cellophane is able to spot an invisible Translucent, and he and Chargebolt successfully capture him.
  • Edgar successfully tricks Soldier Boy into accepting a position on The Seven after Translucent's capture. The way it's written is so effective one reader even admitted to hearing the voice of Giancarlo Esposito, the man who plays Stan Edgar. He even gets Soldier Boy to lay off Black Noir.

Chapter 117: The Hot Wind Blowing
  • During a previous chapter we saw Hawks investigating the Praetorian. We now see the results of that investigation, stripping Praetorian of his hero license in spite of getting acquitted for multiple murder.
  • Gladiator agrees to an Enemy Mine, fighting alongside Infinite to beat the snot out of the Praetorian, who he despises. Infinite even manages to fool the Bastard's special Quirk sensors using an illusion from Virtual Reality.
  • Once the heist is over, Infinite repeats his trick with Overhaul to shut down the Bastard's Quirk, after he kills Salamander on false evidence of course (see the Super Crooks anime to know the trick in question). Cue the Bastard getting arrested by the Foundation for multiple murder with no way to escape or fight back.

Chapter 118: I'm My Own Master Now
  • We see something interesting with Translucent. It turns out super-abled humans can evolve into Quirked humans by burning out the Compound V in their bodies naturally, rather than having it removed either via nuclear radiation or Antidote V. Translucent's new Quirk is given the name Carbon Coating.
  • Homelander shows amazing self-control here. Not only is he able to handle most criticism thrown his way without retaliating, but he even points out to Iron Cast that he could have killed him for mouthing off at any time in spite of Iron Cast closing his eyes... By lasering him in the mouth instead.
  • We get into another battle against the Chaos Insurgency. This time with Ingenium, Earphone Jack, Gevaudan, and Mudman.
  • Herr Chirurg shows off a new Super Serum of his, triggering Ubermensch mode. It increases his power tremendously, though Gevaudan is able to match him with his beast form.
  • Ingenium takes on A-Train, and the two seem evenly matched... Until Earphone Jack and Mudman provide backup.
  • A-Train is so determined not to fail again that he starts pushing himself more and more against Ingenium, to the point that the Compound V in his body starts to naturally burn out. He manages to awaken to his new Quirk, Express Line, and starts working with the quartet to deal with the STG unit he was already targeting.
  • When The Boys make their way to Heights Alliance HQ, it turns out they employ dozens of sidekicks and support heroes.

     Chapter 119: A Stranger I Remain
  • When Homelander tries to talk A-Train out of turning himself in for the death of Robin (Hughie's late girlfriend who A-Train literally ran through by accident), A-Train shocks John by showing just how powerful his new Quirk makes him, breaking out of Homelander's grip and multitasking within a second.
  • Butcher has a solid plan for getting to Homelander... Through Edgar, by way of capturing Payback to take advantage of Edgar's deal with Soldier Boy.
  • When the women of the League of Villains get ambushed by Chaos Insurgents, they completely curb-stomp them. They also give Queen Maeve quite the run-around.
  • One STG member tries to shock Vine's vines with electricity, only for it to do absolutely nothing.
  • Queen Maeve realizes her fight against the League girls burned out her Compound V and evolved her into a Quirked human when she starts flying. After helping to deal with STG unit, she calls her new Quirk Olympian.
  • The Boys themselves each have a potent Quirk. Butcher can perfectly analyze any anomaly, Hughie can teleport, The Female gains an indestructible body, Frenchie can make anything chemical-based, and Mother's Milk grows stronger when fueled by revenge.

     Chapter 120: Stains of Time
  • Turns out Soldier Boy is capable of reigning in Homelander's more psychotic tendencies.
  • When confronting Mindstorm, Midorang easily powers through his mental attacks.
  • Froppy gets to show off a few more frog-based abilities, including Super-Senses and a long-range croak to alert her team.
  • Just as Froppy, Comicman, Plamo, and Grape Juice capture The Deep, they run into another STG cell. Comicman actually cleans house here, showing off just how versatile his Quirk is.
  • Froppy is no slouch in this fight, defeating a cold-themed villain (normally her biggest weakness) by spitting poison in his eyes. She then uses her tongue to pick up one insurgent and slam him into another.
  • With how terrible Deep is, the team doesn't bother finding a way to give him a Quirk. They outright De-power him using the Antidote V.
  • Just as Stormfront is making plans to turn The Seven into an outright villainous team... She finds out A-Train returned, with the moxie to mock her.

     Chapter 121: Red Sun
  • Stormfront finds herself without any allies when she tries to push for Blue Hawk to join The Seven over A-Train. Even Homelander rejects her idea on the grounds that A-Train is the more proven hero.
  • Hughie of all people performs a curb-stomp on the TNT Twins.
  • Red Riot, Alien Queen, Real Steel, and Lizardy are doing a charity live stream for their battle against the Chaos Insurgency.
  • Real Steel and Lizardy get to show off their new ultimate attacks. Real Steel practically becomes a reverse iron maiden, while Lizardy takes a page from Miss Fortune's book.
  • While Stormfront is no match for the heroes, she does manage to take out Lizardy's eye... For half an hour.
  • The four heroes mess up Stormfront six ways from Sunday, then shut down her powers using the Antidote V.
  • Credit to Edgar, he knows when he's losing and starts to make plans to pull his company away from superhero franchises.

Chapter 122: The Only Thing I Know For Real
  • Last chapter we learned that an MTF managed to arrest Gunpowder. Here we learn it was Bridgette's, and she proves to be a better soldier than Gunpowder could ever hope to be. Even better, her luck-based superpower counters Gunpowder's ability to count bullets by not only making an AK-47 conveniently jam but by conveniently having one bullet in her pistol's chamber despite seemingly having exhausted her ammo just seconds earlier. One shot to disarm Gunpowder later and the man is helpless as the rest of the MTF contains him before applying the Antidote V.
  • Spurred on by his imaginary friends, Black Noir succeeds in taking out an entire unit of the Chaos Insurgency's STG, even burning out the Compound V in his body to awaken his Super Regeneration Quirk.
  • When the rest of the insurgents move in, they're taken out by Dynamite, Sugarman, Jack Mantis, and Battle Fist.
  • Speaking of Jack Mantis, the Insectoid Hero is able to slice with his blades at such high speed they can parry machine gun fire.

     Chapter 123: Collective Consciousness
  • When Freezerburn's team deals with the next Chaos Insurgency unit, Vantablack and Spiral prove how potent their Quirks really are. Vantablack brings plenty of the material that serves as his namesake, while Spiral shows off a hidden ability that lets him create whirlwinds by spinning his body parts at high speed.
  • Starlight gets the chance to show off her new Photokinesis Quirk.
  • Tailman takes out three insurgents with one attack.
  • Freezerburn has come up with two ultimate attacks at the same level as his Heaven Slaying Ice Wall. The first is the Hell Slaying Inferno, which speaks for itself. The second is the Earth Slaying Catastrophe, which combines both his ice and his fire at intense power.
  • Soldier Boy gets a dose of reality when Black Noir proves he's actually grown stronger, especially since he's had twenty years to train while Soldier Boy was stuck in a freezer. Ben gets completely overwhelmed and de-powered.

Chapter 124: It Has To Be This Way
  • Homelander winds up getting his ass handed to him when the new Seven (Star and Stripe, Black Noir, Supersonic, Starlight, Queen Maeve, A-Train, and Translucent) lay into him as he's trying to reach his son's location.
    • Supersonic ruptures Homelander's eardrums and disrupts his flight.
    • Queen Maeve and Starlight strike him in midair.
    • Starlight fires a burst of light that sends Homelander crashing through the nearby trees.
    • A-Train clocks him over and over again at high speed.
    • When Homelander tries to retaliate, he hurts his hand punching Translucent, who then proceeds to deliver one hell of a Groin Attack on Homelander.
    • Black Noir gets Homelander in a painful arm lock while delivering a long-overdue "The Reason You Suck" Speech, coupled with admitting that he was partially at fault for Homelander's current mindset.
    • Finally, Star and Stripe makes use of her own Quirk to completely render Homelander's powers useless. While we don't see their fight, later events show it was a curb-stomp in Star and Stripe's favor.
  • Homelander is able to take a lot of criticism for his actions, but Midorang finally finds his Berserk Button... Saying he's not a hero.
  • Followed up by Midorang's Badass Boast.
Midorang: "Go ahead. I've survived worse."
  • Sure enough, Homelander doing exactly as he promised means nothing to a man who survived a nuclear explosion as a four-year-old.
  • And Homelander being able to survive any weapon known to man means nothing when his opponent doesn't even plan on killing him in the first place, and is strong enough that he doesn't even need to bother. Once Midorang points out that Homelander tried to kill a popular hero on live TV, he smacks around Homelander like a ragdoll before laying him out.

     Chapter 125: Merry-Go-Round
  • Somehow Duodecuple sneaks into Tartarus Prison (for reference, the only place harder to infiltrate is the Oldest House) and ropes Overhaul into a Deal with the Devil.
  • Boar already shows how much of a professional she is when she spots a mole among the police just by driving past a crime scene.
  • Yukiteru and Yuno already show great chemistry as they use both their Quirks and their Future Diaries in dealing with Boar. Heck, Yuki is the one to deal the finishing blow.

     Chapter 126: Attack on UA
  • In spite of Sheep's schemes to fully entrap UA High, the faculty is quick to shut down the initial attack, then get all but the hero course students to safety. Instead, the hero course students are given permission to aid the faculty in stopping the threat.
  • That said, it was clever the way Sheep was able to infiltrate UA. According to Nezu, it hadn't happened since the USJ attack years earlier. Heck, Nezu had the security increased since then, making Sheep's infiltration all the more impressive.
  • While Yuno and Yuki are able to get a lot of bombs, some still go off. Thankfully, Yuki is the only one caught in the blast, and he's tough enough to survive it multiple times.
  • Minene shows her conviction when she refuses to cut any sort of deal with Sheep and sticks to the game laid out before her.
  • Yuno shows off the true power of her Quirk. It doesn't just turn her into a Combat Pragmatist, she can literally turn anything she gets her hands on into an effective weapon.
  • Mudman uses Softening on all of UA High! And it's effective in disabling all of Sheep's traps.
  • Sheep is Quirkless and is staring down four Quirked humans, three of which can easily clean his clock. He still manages to escape with a barrage of smoke bombs.
  • Minene takes advantage of the confusion to make her own escape. After all, a known terrorist shouldn't be sticking around a school for heroes longer than she has to.

     Chapter 127: Fantasy Program
  • Turns out Sheep isn't as subtle as he thinks. Infinite figures out his plans the second he learned the elderly assassin attacked UA, and sets up a scheme to create a doppelganger with help from Monoma.
  • After weeks of police and heroes unable to pick up Takao's trail, Keigo pulls it off using his Investigation Diary just days after the game starts.

     Chapter 128: Seigi Sentai GO12
  • The first on-screen transformation of the titular Super Sentai.
  • Dog's attack on the Omekata, despite being one of impatience, is well-coordinated with Chicken.
  • Keigo spots the antidote to Dog's rage poison, carried by a bird under Chicken's control, and shoots it down for Yukiteru to grab. Just as Dog is about to stop him, Yuno blocks using her Quirk. As in, her skin touching her hero costume let's her Quirk turn it into armor.
  • Yukiteru follows up by getting the antidote into the water supply, shooting it using everything from the fire suppression system to the garden sprinklers.
  • Just as Dog confronts SeigiRed about his partner, the Red Sentai reveals that Chicken is now a viable target as well.

     Chapter 129: Two to One

     Chapter 130: Killing With Kindness

My Hero SCP One-Shots

     Miraculous Origin of Crimson Death
  • Jalil Kubdel's rise as Crimson Death. He gets together a skilled team of fresh Quirked humans (though at the time they wouldn't be called as such), tricks Marinette into designing him a supervillain costume, defeats Hawk Moth, and announces himself to the world.

Good Luck, Driver... Welcome to Twisted Metal
  • After the Anti-Climax Boss encounter with Calypso during the Second Summer Vacation arc, he gets an entire one-shot story all to himself.
  • When Billy Sparks (the boy who will become Calypso) figures out how to use his Quirk, the wishes he grants are already mind-blowing. He instantly creates a sweet treat for Needles Kane (the boy who will become Sweet Tooth), and makes it so that Axel can walk again. All by them just wishing for it. Mortimer even suggests Billy might be the most powerful Quirk user in existence.
  • The fact that Reaper thought out his plan to mitigate the possibility of Calypso screwing him over (that being, he developed most his of plan ahead of time)... And Calypso still finds a way to screw him over due to Exact Words (Reaper wished the Twisted Metal crew would help him find the treasure he sought, not that they'd actually find it).
  • As the chapter ends and Calypso realizes the childhood game he and his friends played is coming to an end, he gives this epic line straight from the video game itself.
"I am Calypso, and I thank you for playing Twisted Metal!"

     First Teachers' Meeting
  • A minor case, but it turns out in this universe Rei was a hero right alongside Enji. They even teamed up with another hero called Spinnerette.

     Whatever Happened to Doctor Garaki?
  • Dr. Clef inadvertently changes the course of MHA history by convincing Garaki to stop preaching about his Quirk Singularity Theory (which ultimately got him ostracized in canon and sent him right into All For One's hands) and put his brilliant mind to use in trying to avoid that scenario.
  • Turns out busting out Gustav wasn't Waldo's only excursion into the Oldest House. He did so a second time to steal Garaki's Nomu research.
  • One of All For One's nameless subordinates deserves a mention. When he hears Garaki is selling copies of Quirks as part of his research project, the thug shells out extra cash for a copy of Garaki's own Quirk, Life Force, to give to All For One. The Symbol of Evil rightly gives the man an extra large bonus on his next paycheck.

     Live for Life Without Hatred
  • First is the fact that the Earthen Heart style martial art survived for a good two thousand years.
  • The shifu really thought through her selection process, even trying to ward off those who had no morals in regards to fighting.
  • Related to the above, the fact that Salome somehow evaded this trap despite being part of the Indomitable Fist style, which eschews virtue in favor of strength.
  • Odion proves to be a powerhouse, beating both All Might and Regenizard during the course of the tournament. No easy feat even this early in their careers.
  • And then he goes on to deliver a hard curb-stomp to Salome for her evil, using techniques based on the Live A Live bosses. Both this and his spirit as a true hero prove he is worthy of being the next shifu of the Earthen Heart.
