I'm one of the tropers who cleaned up the Alinne Moraes page, so I can do the same for the others pages. I'm familiar with a lot of these actors and shows. I'll try to start doing it tomorrow.

Yeah. One, "you're welcome, mods" is backseat modding. Two, the over-the-top Troper-To-The-Rescue 'tude died when SA mocked us for it back in '12. Three, it's about as funny as Lowtax was. Tone it down.

I admit this report did amuse me for how ridiculously excited it was, and of course plagiarism sucks, but I do recall Robert getting in trouble for rudeness towards other tropers before, so I agree it should be toned down.
v I'm pretty sure a good three quarters of this site is vying for that "resident Deadpan Snarker" position. And I'm not excluded. :P

I dunno. Call me contrary but if you’re worried more about “tone” than something that could get the site sued or DMCA’d into oblivion then you’ve got a spectacular case of misplaced priorities. Copyright infringement is no joke.

Alright, this is getting popcorny and argumentative - requesting a lock

I took the liberty and scrubbed most of the plagiarized images from the first post, right now I'm currently leaning on cutting a few pages due to "lack of content and only 1 or 2 item(s) in the Filmography section".
Notably the pages for Juliana Alves, Marina Ruy Barbosa, Monique Alfradique, José Mojica Marins note , Bruna Marquezine, Grazi Massafera note , Isabella Santoni, and Ingrid Guimarães, each with 1 or 2 items in the filmography section after the plagiarized contents are pulled.
Is that, uh, okay with you guys? No objections if I send them to the cutlist? I don't want to unintentionally erase a page one of you is in the process of salvaging

^^^^ Well, it's not as though there's a dichotomy here. Robert is obviously right to report plagiarism, but that doesn't mean no one can take issue with the attitude. Mind, I don't personally see it as a big deal.

A troper by the name verissimoallan
made a ton of Creator pages for Brazilian / South American actors and celebrities, with his (?) numerous edits dating back to circa 2019. Many of these are stub-pages, although some of his pages do have content ... which is fine and dandy, we all love South America, don't we? Yes, we do...
But what we don't love, is PLAGIARISM, and that's precisely what verissi had done. Here be a checklist:
Note that ALL those pages, according to the edit history (whose figures are in the single digits, save for some clean-up efforts and tweaking), are all made by the same user, (check his (?) edit history here
) with some of the plagiarized content dating back to 2018.
Alinne Moraes narrowly avoided plagiarism because when verissi made her page in late-2019, he literally slapped entire paragraphs of text from the actress' wikipedia page onto her trope page. But since then two other tropers made additional edits and removed whatever plagiarism traces.
Yep, there's a content thief hanging out in this website, and they have been doing this ever since 2018. Thought we wouldn't catch it, we did.
