^ Not...not really? It's a legit audience reaction, and is just about finding an "unsympathetic" character sympathetic for reasons the creator didn't intend. Like Squidward.
Villain apologia is more of a Draco in Leather Pants thing if I'm being honest.

The first half of the re-write looks good. The rest is a little repetitive, so maybe condense that to just a line or two about Cozy Glow.
^^Leather Pants may or may not only applies to specific fan works. Enough people felt such it should be documented if it fits a trope. What about my revised entry do you feel is unfairly apologetic as opposed to legit criticism?
Should this be moved to Unintentionally Unsympathetic for Discord as it’s different than the parts he’s called out on and atones for? (I’ve argued against it as all the proposals too much complained about the intentional. Or are the unintentional parts too minor/nitpicky to count?) Or cut as all the issues are already covered under Broken Base and it’s too contentious to say who is/isn’t UU or US?
Is Overshadowed by Controversy warranted given near every discussion about the episode centers/devolves into this issue despite it being a minor part. (It’s about Twilight Sparkle’ final trial in proving herself worthy as princess of Equestria. Discord’s actions unwittingly set it off but after that it, and his other actions, is a b-plot that’s a fraction of the story. Would you know this was Twilight’s story given how much focus fans put on Discord.)

I am thinking that if folks are questioning whether such an entry belongs, they should remove it and post it on the discussion page. With a notice on the page history that the entry is now on the discussion page.

I find it sickening that all the current entries are favoring the heroes. None of the heroes are listed as UU, there is a Ron the Death Eater entry on the page claiming people are in the wrong for not accepting the fact that Discord was forgiven and believing he at least deserved to be made to do some community service or something, claiming those people are demonizing him, and the Moral Dissonance entry on the episode's main recap page was recently given a Justifying Edit saying the double standard was okay. The fact that everything is being made to say the double standards were right and they were justified in not punishing Discord at all while imposing new and harsher punishments on Cozy and Tirek (the former of which was already serving a stupidly harsh sentence in Tartarus instead of a normal correctional facility) for new crimes they wouldn't have committed if not for being forcibly broken out by Discord, disgusts and infuriates me. Something about all of this has to change. I'm going to that discussion to argue the revised Unintentionally Sympathetic entry be installed. Hopefully after three days it will. I also argue that my recently cut UU entry for the FIM UU page should be readded.
