- Fans of the more common pairings (DiaEli, NozoEli, and KanaMari, for example) may have this reaction when seeing the cover art for the Love Live! General Magazines, as it features a different, uncommon pairing (the first issue had Eli adjusting Riko's tie, the second had Kotori hugging Kanan, etc.) on each issue.
- What is the actual name of the magazine? Magazines would be italicized.
- It's a bit better, but Die for Our Ship is about fans hating characters for interfering in their preferred couple. For this example to pass, it has to include some explanation on who the fans are hating.
- The "may have" is close to arguing against your own example. Is this an example, or is it not?
- Ship-to-Ship Combat: The cover/poster artwork for the Love Live! General Magazines may have caused a slight furor from other shippers. (The RikoEli-themed first volume◊ for DiaEli and NozoEli fans, the KotoKana-themed second volume◊ for KanaMari and KotoUmi fans.)
- Same questions as :
- "May have" - did this happen, or did it not?
- What is the magazine's name?
- Who are the fans hating, for getting in the way of their ship?
- Same questions as :

1. ...okay, no "May have" since it happened.
2. That what it says. Love Live! General Magazine.
3. Eli adjusting Riko's tie and Kotori hugging Kanan.

Dross has been known for catchphrases in his videos and video-vlogs.
Largely abandoned in his main channel, they still appear from time to time on his vlogs, and his fanbase remembers them fondly.

Remove the double %s on one of the Incest Yay Shipping examples, and some updates:

- Both You and Tsuki Watanabe are also portrayed as an incestuous couple like how fans shipped Dia and Ruby. It helps that Tsuki's first (androgynous) appearance in the Over The Rainbow movie talks to You like a couple on a date (with a bonus as Chika and Riko actually look jealous).

Pokémon/Reality Ensues:
- During the Indigo Tournament arc, Ash is shown not taking his training as seriously as he should, often time getting sidetracked. While he does win his first few matches, most were usually somewhat luck-based. However, his laziness eventually catches up to him when his Charizard disobeys him when he's forced to use it as a last resort. His act of disobedience ends up getting Ash disqualified when Charizard falls asleep on the field, when it doesn't see Richie's Pikachu as a worthy challenge, leaving Ash to mope in private about his loss afterward. Professor Oak is the one who has to remind him that in the end, Ash has no one to blame but himself for slacking off and relying too much on luck to see him through. The words seem to have stuck, particularly after witnessing Ritchie more kindly saying the same thing about himself for underestimating the competition after his similar crushing loss. Ritchie adds how defeats can be invaluable for both trainers' growth as well, showing Ash that one significant loss does not have to mean the end of the world, so long as he was willing to learn from it. Afterward, Ash puts much more effort into becoming a better trainer.

Love Live! Sunshine!!
- Some fans portray Riko as a level-headed and a strategically selfish cheater when it comes to "stealing" Chika's heart (since the first season's 1st episode, to the point of confessing Chika that she loves her since the 10th episode) while also fiddling with You's feelings for Chika and taking Yoshiko away from Hanamaru (since the second season's 5th episode).
(Sandwich this between the AC folder's 7th and 8th examples)

- One of the early Normal rarity cards features Fumie Nishimura holding a manga in her unidolized, which features a very crudely-drawn picture of Joseph Joestar from Battle Tendency on the cover.
- Shiga◊ Hitomi's◊ casual outfits◊ are a nod to Jotaro Kujo's main attire from Stardust Crusaders.

- Several fans believe that both Love Live! and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's universes are actually connected to each other with many Shout Outs:
- Nozomi's "The Star (which is Star Platinum's)" tarot card◊, µ's and A-RISE doing the Pillar Men◊-ish poses, Dia's similar finger-pointing gesture◊, Mari giving the familiar big OMG◊, The MIRACLE◊ WAVE's star◊ face tattoo◊ resembling the Joestar birthmark, and the similarity between the Awaken the Power's art cover◊ with this picture◊.
- Most of◊ Shiga Hitomi's◊ normal outfits◊ (which is an obvious reference to Jotaro Kujo's attire) in the School Idol Festival video game added more fuel to the fire on the theory.
- The promo for Ultra Jump's January 2019 issue has Abbacchio's voice actor (Junichi Suwabe) speaking out the name of the franchise.

Kaede Fuyou
- Adaptational Angst Upgrade: The Anime adaptation gives her an additional yandere personality in the second half of the show (as she tries to stop other girls (notably Asa) from getting Rin), and she is shown abusing Rin after her mother's death in her younger days.
Also, move the All There Is To Know About The Crying Game to the YMMV page.

- Memetic Badass: Despite not becoming an actual Kamen Rider in the show's entire run, Kaoru Ichijo (A cop and a Badass Normal supporting character) is labeled as a "first Secondary Rider in the Heisei era" by many fans.

(Time for some rewrite with context)
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
- Some felt that Ali al-Saachez could have been a better main antagonist of the entire series (given the fact that he remorselessly killed dozens of characters such as Neil Dylandy, Michael and Johan Trinity, and Kinue Crossroad) if he turned against Ribbons and the rest of the Innovators to continue his rampage against Celestial Being (and to an extent, the Earth Sphere Federation, the Union, Human Reform League, and A-LAWS) just to finish what he started, rather than ultimately serving as the Innovators willing pawn.

Remove the first 3 examples written in the Epileptic Trees trope, and replace it with this:
- Many fans are expecting the story of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club to be the same as the previous two series: The announcement of the school closing down, and the school idols going to their separate ways (read:Disband) in the future.
(If correct, do the same remove-and-change method for the "Love Live! School Idol Festival and its spin-offs" AC folder in Love Live's epileptic Trees page
Contributor for Gunpla Wiki. Currently suspended due to extensive writing issues. PS: I only wrote down what I saw. (audience reactions etc)- Memetic Bystander:
- When it comes to mentioning male characters in the franchise, Honoka's father gets the most mention due to his occasional screentime in the first 2 seasons of the anime and the movie.
(Sandwich this between the trope's 1st and 2nd example)
- Memetic Badass:
- Umi's rather frightening smile (sometimes followed by a frown) in both the second season's fourth and seventh episodes are seen as her lethally threatening expression of her anger.

- Sleepless
- Jamie Foxx's character was stabbed when his son was kidnapped but he was able to move around when he physically shouldn't have been able to. While throughout the film it was acknowledged, as he was shown to be in pain and it somewhat affected his ability to move around, he was able to continue on.
- He was later hit in the gut, getting shot by a huge gun but he survived and was in a regular hospital room, instead of being in ICU.

- Jamie Foxx's character was stabbed when his son was kidnapped, [comma] but he was able to move around even though he physically shouldn't have been able to. While his injury was acknowledge throughout the film, as he was shown to be in pain and it somewhat affected his ability to move around, he was able to continue on. He was later shot in the gut by a huge gun, but he survived and was treated in a regular hospital room, instead of in the ICU.
The example should be written all on one bullet point, not split up into two. Also, if Jamie Foxx's character has a name, you should probably use that instead.
- Edit the example to italicize the magazine title.
- Edit the example to describe who is getting the hate.
- Incest Yay Shipping: Both You and Tsuki Watanabe are
alsoportrayed as an incestuous couple, like how fans shippedDia and Ruby. It helps that in Tsuki's first (androgynous) appearance in the Over The Rainbow movie, she talks to You like they are a couple on a date (while Chika and Rikoactuallylook jealous).- Again, do not include "also" (or "too" or "as well"), because they are disrupting the flow of the example. If you removed the example preceding it, then the "also" et al hangs in there, referring to nothing at all.
- No Yay: Many fans (including
severalshippers) arepretty muchagainst any incest relationship between Ruby and Dia.- The struck-through items are Word Cruft.
- Some fans portray Riko as a level-headed, strategic, and selfish cheater when it comes to "stealing" Chika's heart
(since the first season's 1st episode, to the point of confessing Chika that she loves her since the 10th episode), while also fiddling with You's feelings for Chika and taking Yoshiko away from Hanamaru(since the second season's 5th episode).- The parentheticals are very difficult to understand. I'm assuming these are meant to indicate when certain events happened, but the phrasing and position of the phrases are muddled and clumsily phrased.
- This seems more like Alternative Character Interpretation.
~FigureGunplaFan, the grammar in this post is fine, but it'd be good to have an example of what Jotaro Kujo's main attire actually looks like.
- Most of◊ Shiga Hitomi's◊ normal outfits◊ (which are an obvious reference to Jotaro Kujo's attire) in the School Idol Festival video game adds more fuel to the fire on the theory.
- Same as above, could do with an example of the attire in question.
- Adaptational Angst Upgrade: The anime adaptation gives her more of a
additionalYandere personality in the second half of the show, as she tries to stop other girls (notably Asa) from getting Rin, and she is shown as having abused Rin after her mother's deathin her younger days.- The inclusion of "in her younger days" at the end of the phrase is confusing - who is "her"? There are at least three potential people preceding it.
~FigureGunplaFan, this post:
a Japanese with apart-Russianblood, expect her to become a poster girl for anything Russian (such as her ability to rule with the power of dictatorship, doing "Rush B" as her strategy) and/or Gopnik stereotypes (such as her doing squats while wearing tracksuits, or her major addiction to vodka) in many fans' eyes.
