I also feel like the only person here into a bunch of the "main" things I'm interested in (most of the stuff that isn't a Nintendo game), or at least to the extent I am, but I'm fine with it

As for my main interests, the people who like them only like them a little bit.

I know that others are into what I am, but i haven't had great experience with fandom. And really, they're less like one big community and more like a bunch of cliques who often fight with each other over the right way to enjoy said thing. I am more content just sharing my enjoyment with my friends and some acquaintances

It's weird. 'cause I like the Guardians film fandom (it's actually quite wholesome, believe or not) and i have been apart of the comics fandom since '05. But I really don't have the same conversations about the comics that I get from the films. Although, I am grateful it's popular now.

I'm admittedly not that active in most fandoms for things I like aside from browsing and sometimes drawing fanart and other fancontent, and sometimes discussing them in forums or otherwise whenever the subject comes up, I mostly just enjoy the thing on my own, though I don't also have too many issues with most of them

Admittedly I got into osomatsu in 2016 so I’m not one of those “I was here first!” fans, but I still feel that the 1988 series is the best one, and I HIGHLY prefer talking to fans of the vintage installments as opposed to the ‘15 one.

Although, when it comes Daft Punk, I enjoy talking to everyone no matter what album they prefer, or even only if they know 3 songs because then I can teach them about it (my favorite).

And with Lupin, there’re so many adaptations but it’s less arguing and more like “eh I think x adaptation is better than the y one” “oh ok I disagree but that’s still cool”

I can lay a solid claim to being the most prominent T&B fan on the internet, and I have no intention of relenting on that since it's a thing I've loved for a while now

still holding out hope for a sequel but I don't mind if it's just a one-and-done type of thing, especially since it did come out ((just under) seven years ago

also the developers of it are really great! I remember frequenting their blog while they were developing On Rusty Trails and when I asked if I could join the closed beta before launch, their press guy was like "there's already a key waiting for ya"

(I've also gotten the chance to thank the creators of most of the shows I've liked in recent years for their work through Twitter, which is awesome and such a joyful part of the modern 'net)

It’s absolutely rad that the internet makes it easier to reach out to and communicate with creators. I became slightly noteworthy for being an American fan of Si Juki and have briefly talked with someone who worked on the film and had some involvement with the comics(?)

He said there were no plans to bring the franchise outside of Indonesia but he appreciated my effort and I was pleased

I keep getting Keiron and Dave mixed up because of their avatars. I'm tired. :P

I used to be really involved in the Doctor Who fandom. I've contributed to two fan quizzes for the BBC website, was a admin for a Jon Pertwee fanpage, heavily contributed to a fansite, and of course, entered that art contest which resulted in what I submitted getting included in a Doctor Who book.

Nowadays, while I still like the show, I feel like that the fandom has become divided and I have pretty much lost interest.

I've been trying to think of what to say. I'll write there now.
