Wikiword / custom title cleanup thread

I recently found two pages using custom titles to add subtitles. Could the custom titles perhaps be removed? Or is there a way for regular users to "reset" custom titles?

I assume you're asking to cancel those, because as been repeatedly stated title customization is not for renaming pages and these have been reverted before.

Music.Xscape Group has a custom title that omits the second word.

I suppose "Group" would be in round brackets, but I usually see it as "Band", not "Group."

Apparently somebody has attempted to submit a custom title for Crazy Is Cool, which decapitalises the copula "is". This is not a standard style (see this site for details).

I request the moderators to deny all future attempts to use that custom title, and keep the current title.

Re-submitted the requests for Why We Are Bummed Communism Fell, Russell T Davies, and Negima!? (second season) yet again, as all of them ping-ponged back to incorrect or invalid forms since I last checked.

Somebody keeps decapitalising the copula "is" in the custom titles for Evil Is Cool and Status Quo Is God.

Please knock it off. There is no title case style that specifies the word "is"/"are" be capitalised. Read this instead (https://titlecaseconverter.com/blog/is-be-capitalized/).

Yeah, common mistake. "Is" is a verb. Verbs get capitalised.

Coincidental Disguise-Complementing Trait was recently launched as Coincidental Disguise, Complementing Trait. As far as I know, no one was made aware of this change in grammar. During this trope's time in the TLP, it was my understanding that the trait was coincidental, not the disguise.

Huh, the WikiWord box seemed to think Why We Are Bummed Communism Fell was the existing custom display when it was not. Now it is.

Noticed CooldownHug is titled "Cool-Down Hug". No idea why considering it contradicts the wikiword and the description, so resubmitted how it used to be.

Because of the pesky bug, it shows up as CoolDownHug in the queue.

Looking at this one, a custom title isn't the best way to handle it - if we do that, it'll confuse people trying to link to it, because wiki link logic will still expect the caps used in the page name, not the formatted version.

There's a Capitalization Fix thread specifically for this sort of issue. If you post there, they should be able to sort it out.

Let me make it clear for whoever set the custom title like this: Copulas like "is" and "are" are verbs, not prepositions. Stop that.

You're assuming the people doing that are aware of and actively reading this thread.
