Duplicate Image: Star Derailing Role

Sister Act and Theodore Rex are identical to the corresponding work pages. Also, I don't see the difference between the "before" and "after" from the image alone. Probably why Creator Killer and Sequelitis use Rotten Tomatoes screenshots.

Previous thread. It might not be a bad idea to rebuild this one using the RT ratings like the other pages.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested. It's pretty obvious what's being pictured.

Keep the current; the fact that some posters duplicate their work page images is nitpicking.

I don't mind it but I wonder if it'd look better with 3 movies instead of 5- like instead of using two before-and-after shots, why not just have one movie represent "before" and one represent "after"? Would be less squished at least.

This one only needs a caption to establish the actor and movies (like in any compilation), instead of explaining the whole thing:

Is The Love Guru supposed to be the derailing role? If so, that image doesn't show how his career suffered afterwards.

It derailed enough that he hasn't been cast on a live-action film ever since.

I don't think we need to show the aftermath role, especially since he received a razzy for it, which the image points out (plus, the "racist" part, which should be enough derail on its own).

Yeah, although it doesn't matter since nothing stops the career from rebounding. The trope itself acknowledges this.

that's enough consensus, so i'm adding the image and tagged the thread. do we agree with the caption or does anyone want to suggest another caption idea? (i already added the caption but i commented it out for convenience, in case we do agree on it)

i like the caption idea, mostly because i feel like with an image like that we kinda need to have a caption explaining who the guy is and what movies he plays in. maybe something other than "Mike Myers' career in three steps", though.

How's this: "Mike Myers: From rockin' guy to groovy spy to why...just, why?!"
