That... is literally her day job.
Well, not assassinations specifically, but the bounty hunting group Nemesis is part of also handles contracts like that. Nemesis is especially suited for assassinations because of her skill with her namesake rifle and her eyes, which are implied to aid with reconaissance in some way.
