This thread is meant to be a place for people to ask questions and request discussion about existing page images they have concerns about; this can be used to determine if a thread should be made to replace an image.
For example, questions about Just a Face and a Caption concerns, whether a picture requires additional context, whether a picture demonstrates all of the necessary aspects or a trope, or whether a trope better demonstrates a related trope can be asked here.
Wouldn’t something like Tall Tale be better illustrated with dialogue?
Macron's notesYes, IMO.
Why? An image should show the image visually when possible instead of through text.
Keet cleanupOh, well this is a trope about a tall tale being told, I just figued it would have dialogue. But I guess the image illustrates since it looks farfetched enough? I don’t know.
Macron's notesThe caption could definitely be better, probably explaining what tale that is.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI think the image would work better with an improved caption.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Is the image of Mysterious Informant illustrative?
Not really.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.The Stool Pigeon may be a Visual Pun, but does it help to illustrate the trope? The caption and the page quote aren't really adding much either.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupIIRC, the pigeon's in jail and that's his dialogue from that scene. I could take it or leave it.
I don't think it works. Good visual puns are where the image has some connection to the trope, such as in Ship-to-Ship Combat or Bigger Is Better in Bed. This one just shows a literal interpretation of the title in a way that's nothing to do with the trope, doesn't make it clearer, and in this case not even funny.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.Not every Visual Pun shows the trope, particularly when the trope is hard to illustrate. Necessary Weasel and What Happened to the Mouse? come to mind. I wouldn't pull The Stool Pigeon without a replacement.
And I don't like those images for a good reason. Those don't really add to the page.
Speaking of which: the image on Gray Is Useless is not that bad as far as visual puns go, but it shouldn't be too difficult to find an actual example and I think it'd be better that way.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I kinda like Gray Is Useless. It got a chuckle out of me for how self-demonstrating it is.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessYeah, that one's so much of a gray area that it makes itself work.
Yeah, I think Gray Is Useless and the other two Visual Pun pics you mentioned are alright Peter. While it's true that at IP, we like to make sure the pics get the point across of their respective trope with little-to-no context, I think having a couple of Visual Pun images every now and the won't be too bad IMO. Maybe loosen up a little on those type of pics.

Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."If it's indeed not that difficult, I'd prefer some suggestions for Gray Is Useless. The current to me it's more uninformative than useless, but it's not something I'd remove without a replacement.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSure, if a good one is suggested. GUPKIS otherwise.
Is there anything I’m missing from NightmareFuel.Knives Out? It just looks like a guy with a spider on them.
In context, it's a drug-addled person on the verge of death.
Environmental Symbolism doesn't make sense outside of context, what's going on?
I'd like to apologize for all this.
Lovely indeed. Make a thread for it.
I'd like to apologize for all this.
