Characters.Stalker is disambiging using Series Stalker and Video Game Stalker. Shouldn't those be flipped, so its Medium Second, if we're using Medium to disambig?
And Film/, Series/ and Video Game/ aren't even disambig-ed, I'm not sure if there's any sub-page collisions, but they should be moved, no?

And if we're going to use Stalker Series and Stalker Video Game for the Characters pages, then the works should follow suit, I assume.
On second thought, not yet, and there's so many namespaces to move. And 500+ wicks.
And for further disambiguation reasons:
* VideoGame.{{STALKER}} to VideoGame.{{STALKERVideoGame}}
* AwesomeMusic.{{STALKER}} to AwesomeMusic.{{STALKERVideoGame}}

Here, we can go with Film.Stalker 1979, Series.Stalker 2014, and VideoGame.STALKER 2007 (the latter is an acronym).
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.VideoGame.STALKER is for a video game series, though. Maybe VideoGame.STALKER Series?

Because the entries were released so close to each other, we could get away with the year if we absolutely needed to, but I like STALKER Series.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.You could also not disambiguate the series but disambiguate the others like we do with Overlord.
CM Sandboxes, MB SandboxesI'm pretty sure we can't do that.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I would personally say that series' get priority over individual works as those are much harder to disambiguate we do the same for franchises. And most people agree with me on that.

CM Sandboxes, MB SandboxesI think official policies are a little vague about this. Sandbox.How To Create A Disambiguation Page says that every page involved in a disambiguation should be moved, with two exceptions: fanfiction colliding with non-fanfiction and a remake/adaptation colliding with the original work (both of which recommend only moving the derivative work's page). However, Sandbox.Page Title Collision notes that soft-splitting subpages "is acceptable, but people can still disambiguate if they feel like it's a good idea." (It then goes on to explain that splitting pages with the same title in different namespaces can be justified if "the two work pages are largely unrelated," which seems particularly relevant to the Stalker debate.)
There are other times where I don't think one page in a collision needs to be moved (like when a work page clashes with a Useful Notes page), but when it comes to two works I am less sure. When I split the various Hitchhiker's Guide pages a while back, I ended up moving the book series to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy — using the year it began would cause confusion with the first book in the series (Literature.The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy 1) and the later books' covers tend to jokingly call the series a "trilogy."
In short, if we're to disambiguate every work page with the same title, I think VideoGame.STALKER Series (or VideoGame.Stalker Series, depending on the capitalization) is fine.
Pinball cleanup threadSTALKER Series; it's an acronym.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Re: this ATT query about Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo
The two series are so closely linked that there's no point in separating them. Given that the gap between them was (for the most part) a normal season break, these are conceptually the same show even though one was a straight-up half hour and one was Three Shorts.

I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.There are three pages with the title of "Mars": the 1996 manga, a 2004 Taiwanese live action adaptation, and a notes page about the planet. The Laconic and Quotes pages are related to the planet while the Characters and YMMV pages are related to the manga.
I'm thinking maybe the manga page could be moved to Mars (1996) and the series page to Mars (2004). I can't think of a better solution. Thoughts?

Although, that auto-disambig is a thing.
E: Series mentions a Nat Geo documentary we don't have a page on...
E: So the Characters page is for the Manga? Or the Series based on it? Judging from the names...
Also, Music and Video Game both exist for Portal. That's an issue, no?

Additionally, there is a stub franchise page.
oh hey how are you doing?Didn't think about making a disambig page, though I don't believe one will be necessary.
I've deleted the documentary mention.
Far as I can tell, the character subpage is just in regards to the manga.

~ ♪ I know I’m playing with your heart / And I could treat you better but I’m not that smart ♪ ~My preferred solution there is to drop the custom title. It makes no sense to rename our Useful Notes page. Also, I'm kind of sick of people giving their works wacky titles that have to be customized on sites like ours. "It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I think the best solution would be to move the visual novel to VisualNovel.Planets 2011 to preserve the custom title. The franchise page can probably be safely cut.
If the work writes its title in a fashion that necessitates a custom title on the wiki, then I don't think removing it is a great solution.

In other things, there's a Visual Novel (No page) called "Cabin Fever", there's a fanfic, and a Film. And it's also a trope.
