Yes and for two reasons.
1. Lerunda has literal god-given Plot Armor. Her personal survival against violent circumstances is not an issue 9 times out of 10.
2. Tornadoes are completely within her element. She would dissipate it quite easily.

Relative to their heights, sort of. See those holes on their feet? Those are thruster vents which can be used to slow their descent. It has limits, of course, but still better than free falling.
On the more extreme side of falling, neither GM nor Zaku are equipped for atmospheric entry. They would burn up in the atmosphere long before splatting on the ground.
