President Snow just casually walks in, catching the scientists off-guard.

President Snow! Well this is a surprise! Where were you? Didn't hear much of you last season besides those clones of yours!

   I've been hearing some new rumors about GASK and was busy checking it out. Apparently their personification experiment is due to be completed by next season. That's not the only thing that was discovered either. It seems that one of the members may possibly be from a doomed timeline of ours. They say he witnessed the destruction of everything. It's him that's leading the personification project.   

He sighs.

   Boys, gear me up with some of your best stuff. I'm going in as a tribute.   

Sir, but why!? Why not use one of your clones?!

   For one thing, those clones aren't perfect. Two, the fact the some of the problems in the arena were caused by my own staff makes me want to clean it up myself. And finally, having the chance to personally take out my frustrations on the tributes is too good to resist, I need a good stress reliever. With any luck I might even find new info on headaches like GASK and Valecor!

Well, not exactly to find them as he knows they're dangerous and doesn't really want to personally meet them as he's aware that trying to take them on by himself is a bad idea, just finding new information on them would be enough for him as that's more up his alley.

He isn't really expecting to find much on them as both are tricky for different reasons, so finding new leads on them just be just a bonus to him. He's just mostly going in to see if he can help stop whatever problems are going on from getting worse, such as attempting to form an Enemy Mine with the tributes if need be, and the other part being that he wants to get back at the tributes for talking smack about him. He can't trust a clone to do this as since they're not the original he fears they might screw things up.

Due to unexpected factors beyond control, up to and including weather issues, I can't post any updates today. But to tide away your time, have a prologue!

Somewhere far away, during the previous Season

As the Battle Royale continues, Dave the Assassin's concerns on the subject of Valecor start to increase. The new threat has certainly began to become a powerful one, as proven by its murder of poor Nemo and several other feats. Something needs to be done about this enemy, but what?

After the Battle Royale's Feast, at an unknown building

Dave enters the building, intent on finding new inspiration for the next Season. Despite feeling rather unhappy with Starlight Glimmer and Navi's deaths, he keeps his composure, for he knows they have managed to perform their roles successfully. One of the building's heads, who is a doctor, came up to him.

"Sir, we have managed to recover the corpses of Nemo, Navi and Starlight Glimmer from the Arena."

"Good. Prepare our tribute two-way sender devices and use them on Starlight and Navi. Revive them and send them back where they came from. They've done well for now."

"What of Nemo's body, sir?"

"I sense a trace of Valecor's life force within his body; somehow, that trace remained within it when that being killed him. Prepare the MEAL Extractor, and extract it from his body, then you can revive him and send him back. I fear what that trace could do to the poor boy if we left it. Besides, I intend to find a usage with this trace for the next Season. Heheheh....

Just before the final update of the Battle Royale, at the unknown building

Dave enters the building. The doctor greets him as he does so.

"Sir, we've managed to extract the trace of Valecor's life force at last."

"Very good. Thank you, Doc. Now that I have it, I may have found one of many means to combat its threat."

"Uhh, Sir? Pardon me, but the next Season will be having a theme: Names The Same. Who do you intend to send?

Dave smirks knowingly. "Prepare Plan 4NDP01D-A. I will need it if my plan to create opposition against Valecor are to be a success."

The doctor nearly jumps in surprise. "Are you certain, Sir? This plan of yours could easily go awry."

"Worry not, Doc. I already have something in mind. Valecor's not gonna be expecting this one at all, and it won't be interfering with it at all, because the pieces of this little game are stacking against it. Its murder of Nemo has orchestrated a piece of its own inevitable downfall, if I may give you a clue. Lead the way to the preparations room, Doc. I'll be overseeing some final adjustments personally."

Dave smiles vaguely to himself as he follows the doctor deeper into the building.....

Valecor's Lair

Painting a red pentagram on the ground using the blood of a freshly-killed wolf, Valecor uses the Necronomicon to revive his fallen allies.

   Sorry that I let you guys die, but the rules of the games are rules, can't make things too suspicious.   

Grumbling at him for that, they eventually ask about his current plans.

   There's a new season coming up, think it's a themed season. Go and learn as much as you can about the season and whatever else is going on.   

They then disband and use their various abilities to look for information using various means such as spying or plain brute force. after several hours then regroup.

Bill:   Hey Valecor pal, I heard that the doctors are making something that would be used against you or something!   

   So they seems to be developing something to use again me huh? When then, find a way to sabotage it. If this goes wrong then just send the resulting mess to one the various dimensions the tributes are from for them to deal with, don't care if it's a kid-friendly one like the MLP universe or something eldritch like Warhammer 40k.   

Cell:   With some "persuasion", I got a scientist to spit out that President Snow and Dave the Assassin are tributes this season. Made sure that the scientist won't go yapping to his pals afterwards.   

Valecor grins wickedly.

   Well now, President Snow himself is a tribute and one of the nominators is a tribute this time around? Now that is indeed interesting... perhaps a personal visit to either of them is in order then... GEH GEH GEH GEH GEH!

@Dave and @Gamechanger, do you guys plan on nominating Valecor as a tribute someday?

As the one who made him, yes, though it won't be until I finally draw the guy, which is kinda easier said than done as he's on the detailed side.

Case in point, I see his armor reflecting like whatever's the texture name for that of car paint or beetle shells. Speaking of said armor that's no suit he's wearing, but that's his actual body.

I personally have no plans of that. You have to ask Gamechanger. Nvm that last one, I was 'd when I was doing an errand.

Anyways, because it's still school for me, the Season's not going to start until later today (in my timezone).

EDIT: I was about to start the season, but it seems fate has conspired against me; working to prepare this update has left me in a literal headache, so I'll have to delay the start to tomorrow so that I can get some rest and remove the headache. Sorry!
