Do we need some standartized message for seeking approval? I think it's important to say that
- The artist will be credited regardless
- The page the image is featured on is monetized
- The image may not be added if it doesn't pass the vote

The message that I've always used is, with small tweaks as needed:

Hello! Your work "[work name]" is being considered as the page image for the [page name] page at TV Tropes, and we'd like to ask your permission for this. On the page, the image would be no larger than 350 px wide* and would include links to the original image and to your website. May we use the image in this manner?
Thank you for your time and attention.

[signature]"
For the most part, this has worked fine.
- - some artists in the past have been twitchy about the size of reproductions of their works for some reason

Bathroom Control and Physical Scars, Psychological Scars have images from MoringMark and there doesn't seem to be any confirmation of it being approved by the owner
