TLP Crash Rescue - Fixing prematurely launched TLPs and pages

... When I saw Navel Window as the Newest Trope, I honestly started to question the need for separate tropes about clothing windows that show off specific parts of the body. Isn't that just The Same, but More Specific? Next thing you know, someone will make a Butt Window trope ^note Yes, it exists; may I [[present to you Fate/EXTRA character once commonly nicknamed "Saber Extra", but is better known via Fate/Grand Order by her real name of "Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus". Also, Rin Tohsaka from the same game, though it's less obvious unless you look at Takashi Takeuchi's illustration of her◊..

Why not just lump Cleavage Window, Navel Window and the un-made Butt Window together into a Clothing Window trope?

Navel Window is a fanservice trope, intended to be an inverse of Bare Your Midriff. I'd noted some characters in past media I'd seen whose outfits did this (the cited examples for Asuka and the girls from Madoka Magica specifically), but it was Rita's dress in the left-hand panel of the page pic that inspired me to actually create the page.

Funny, I just stumbled upon the characters page because it has a Fragile Flower wick. I'd be okay with a slash-and-burn if they don't fix it.

Effort clearly has gone into the page, but I managed to make it about 3/4 down and I think I saw literally a single example that had sufficient content.

In other news, I'd appreciate if some other people could come and join the discussion on "LGBT+ Creators", linked earlier in the thread. The discussion is no longer regarding the bombs, but the scope of the draft. We need other opinions, because it's starting to devolve into an argument between a handful of people.

Requesting an unlock on the LGBT+ Creators TLP, the bombs/hats have seemed to level out and it seems like a consensus was reached on the scope of the index.

Once the article is launched, go to the "More" submenu and click "Wiki Word". Then you can submit the title request.

I think they mean that they want the title to have the "plus" when it's written out as well.

Well, they can't have that, because '+' is not a valid character in titles. Once custom titled, links will be displayed correctly.

Written out, I mean. As in, LGBT+ Creators.

Also, LGBT Creators and LGBTQ Creators ought to be redirects just in case there's confusion, and especially that some tropers search by typing the Wiki Word on URL more than they use the search bar.

Would most likely need a Queer Creators redirect as well, as that was the name of the draft for most of its run and since some other LGBT pages are under that term.

We can relaunch under LGBT+ Creators or just redirect from it. It doesn't matter to me.

"X" Marks the Spot was launched recently, apparently (it was on TLP for several years), and its name violates No New Stock Phrases. (The draft itself predates the policy, but wasn't launched until this year.) Some "examples" just reference the phrase without actually being examples of the trope (problem number 2 on the No New Stock Phrases page).

That should be sent back to TLP, if we don't already have a trope about a symbol marking the location of a treasure.

Would updating context for examples help with that?

Also, if I understand No New Stock Phrases correctly, it's generally for verbal tropes. This one is inherently visual. If there's no "X" (or similar marking) on a point of interest (a spot), it's not the trope.

Aside from that, the term has long been a cliche in fiction ever since Treasure Island and has permeated media all over the place. To not include it in at least some capacity is to ignore decades of media history.

I'm open to suggestions to avoid cutlisting.

Updating context wouldn't help if there's no actual X-shaped marking present, thus meaning they aren't examples.

As for the name, No New Stock Phrases refers to trope names in addition to phrase-exclusive tropes.

Anyway, I never said this isn't a trope. I said the current name violates a policy that's existed since 2011. Names like X Shaped Marking and Treasure Map X wouldn't be stock phrases.

Human Raised By Fairies went through TLP way too quickly, launched with net 3 hats, and with concerns about the name and scope. Personally I think the description needs more work as well.
