Inspired by this thread, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

I have removed it from the page with a link to this discussion thread attached to the Edit Reason.
THE GOLDEN AGE WILL RETURN AGAIN!Probably from young tropers who do not realize that something airing on TV now does not mean it has been just released.
Optimism is a duty.Well, more along the lines of "COVID is the first pandemic" and "Floyd invented police brutality" and "Cuphead invented Inkblot Cartoon Style".

I think that's misuse of Die for Our Ship. Die for Our Ship is about character A being hated because they get in the way (or are perceived as getting in the way) of ship B/C. This sounds more like Hype Backlash. But I don't think Hype Backlash is supposed to be used for non-canon ships.

The Crow: City of Angels has a remnant of the PRLC'd Detractor Nickname listed under Fan Nickname. Before I break out the scissors, I figured I'd bring it here first.
I grabbed the scissors.
Thanks much.
~Twiddler, that's a good point. I agree that the entry is more about Hype Backlash - and it also misses an important part: many fanworks do nasty things to Jack to let Elsa hook up with someone else; because Jack/Elsa pairing is so popular, Jack is perceived as getting in the way of other ships. So, as much as I'd love to delete the whole thing (and will the trend itself out of existence), I don't think I can X)
Sounds like it needs rewriting to communicate this, then.
I'm not sure where to put this, but someone on YMMV.Hololive put this on the page, pre-commented.
- Epileptic Trees: It has been a topic in some Vtuber fan communities outside Hololive's about speculations of previous Virtual Celebrity or other internet personality identities of certain Hololive talents (who should not be named here) prior to joining Hololive, mostly coming from fans of those past identities who recognized them. There are no confirmations of any speculations and better left as it is for the best.
TV Tropes is not a place for gossip, and I think this entry mostly exists to invite that.

Pre-commented entries are deleted on principle. Zap it.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢It's gone.
It's not even Epileptic Trees since there is no in-work relevance of the performers' past histories unless they explicitly bring it up.
I've seen some really nitpicky stuff of the Paper Mario: The Origami King, especially the They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character, They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot, and That One Puzzle entries

"Unite GUN/BAZOOKA/LAUNCHER/TANK!"- Shipping Elsa with Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians is an odd case of a non-canon Crossover Ship inspiring this treatment. The pairing grew very popular, frequently featured everywhere from fanfiction to cosplay, so some perceive Jack as getting in the way of whatever other Elsa ship they prefer. To let her hook up with someone else, quite a few fanworks kill, humiliate, and/or rewrite Jack into an insolent egotistic jerkass, a far cry from the All-Loving Hero he is in the movie.
The entry for "Alone Again, Natura-Diddly" on UnexpectedlyDarkEpisode.Western Animation has that pesky "some fans" wording, and it calls the comedy lazy.
For every low there is a high. The text in parentheses should definitely be cut, but I feel like the example may need to be fleshed out a bit more. I would try, but I've never watched the episode.

I expanded a bit on "Alone Again, Natura-Diddly" (and also a few of the other entries I was familiar with).
The things in my dreams wish they could chase me!It looks much better now, thanks.
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenI went and added How I Became Yours to the sandbox; that page really needs a clean due to there being complaining all over the place.
Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread!Dub-Induced Plot Hole probably needs a once over; I just removed some complaining from the WA folder, but it's late and I'm too tired to check everything else.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Does this example on Adaptation Personality Change sound too complainy? (part of a larger TMNT example)
- Raph is the Wolverine of the TMNT. While he remains the most short-fused and quickest to resort to hitting things, in an adaptation where he's not allowed to actually introduce living enemies' vital organs to his sai onscreen, he becomes a guy whose bark is worse than his bite.

I think that while that is indeed ranty, it also provides some context as to why Raph is a Badbutt in the cartoons.

My favorite genre of YMMV example is the kind that assumes very old things are like, 2 years old, and then bases everything off of that. They're really great.
