This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Agreed; that's apparently from the work, whereas the Walt quote is more appropriate for trivia since it's about the work.
Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere.Da Boom Crew’s quote is mocking of the work.
back lolI cut it.
Apparently, the quote for Nightmare Fuel was changed twice without discussion by the same user—JaredTropes. What should we do about it?
Original quote:
I prefer the original quote the most; it's short but good.

back lol...Okay, Guma.
Look, we were most likely going to vote to revert the quote anyway, but you jumped the gun and changed it after only one person had spoken on the matter. You also didn't link the thread, which is necessary to try and avoid things like edit wars.
Please be more patient.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessMusic.Cut The Crap has two page quotes. I think I prefer the second.
I prefer the second as well. The first one could be about anything.
Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere. Is it me or does the page quote for Let the Past Burn have nothing to do with the actual trope, this is the quote:
And this is the definition of the trope according to it's laconic:
and it's page description:
Then that building is burnt down, destroying those memories of the past with it.
The huge material loss suffered by the owner of the house is generally peripheral to the story, with the real point of the trope being that the fire symbolizes letting go of the things from the past that were tied to the house, and being able to finally embrace the future.
One or more characters, dead or alive, may be burnt along with the house. A villainous or deranged character who lights such a fire is likely to perish in this way - perhaps with the hero trying unsuccessfully to save them.
Yeah, that's definitely not actually a related quote.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Yeah, that's describing the trope name rather than the actual trope. I think it should be removed because it's misleading.
For Cringe Comedy, I feel the quote currently used on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack should be used instead since it is a great description of how it's supposed to work, and the current quote doesn't really show the humor.
"You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave".There's a decent alternative quote on the page for Let the Past Burn.
The quote on No Budget was changed without discussion.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."I've added the quote.
The quote on Confusing Multiple Negatives is also the video.
The quote would be easier to change.
...Also not a fan of the image but it's not so offensive it needs to be changed, or at least, dunno if anyone else would agree to change it.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI've removed the first quote from Music.Cut The Crap.
Video examples are not mutually exclusive with quotes.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. No, but why have a quote if the exact same thing is on the same page in the form of a video? Isn't that redundant? Doesn't that mean the quote works better as a video?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSometimes people don't feel like looking at the video examples?
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. That video also won't always be the first video on the page. I think the featured one is always the most recently added one... or maybe they cycle, but either way they definitely change.
I see your point, but it also seems to be the only video for the trope...eh, maybe it's not a big deal, but I think redundancy should be avoided as much as possible even if it's not the end of the world.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI think the length of the quote for Confusing Multiple Negatives may be the bigger issue for me. I repeat, for me. I'm fine to leave until a better quote comes along.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Well, I think it can be pared down. Maybe cut the first two lines and the last one?
Gentleman Adventurer is just restating the trope name. Nothing in the quote indicates that the character in question is a gentleman or an adventurer.

Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
WesternAnimation.Oswald The Lucky Rabbit has two quotes. I'm thinking the second one is better.
