Origin of Username

Back In The Day, when I lived on the farm, the local coyote pack was led by a big melanistic 'yote, which I was absolutely fascinated by because it was the first melanistic wild animal I'd seen outside of photographs.

It obviously kinda stuck with me lmao

A long time ago, there was an admin named Silverman in a forum that I frequented, and one day he disappeared from the Internet. But that's not where it comes from, although I kind of wished it would be.

This is where it really comes from.

The "crown" part is just because I wanted my username to look kind of CamelCased and came from a long Discord discussion I had with a group of people (three-ish years ago) about whether gold or silver was better. I picked silver. Hence silver + crown = Silver Crown.

I did have an old account from 2017 to 2020, and I kept Silver Crown on the list of usernames I wanted to use for different platforms (yes, I do have a short list of pre-made usernames.)

Bean is something my mom has called me, due to the fact that when I was born, I was a tiny baby. The electric part is made up, I just thought it sounded good.

I'll just copy/paste from my troper page and modify that:

Mewtron is a Fakémon I designed when I was 12 years old and was so proud of it that I made it my username on every social media account at the time. Like, I was gonna email Satoshi Tajiri about it, I'm pretty sure, except I didn't know Japanese. The "mighty" part is just Added Alliterative Appeal.

My username was always moopadoop. I came up with it years ago... and one day, found out it had been taken.

So, with my 5th grade genius, I stuck a 2 on the end and never looked back.

It's a big pun based on my real name that only me and my friends can understand.

I wanted to make This Guy but someone already had it so I just used This.

I realized that that the first syllable of Hagakure (the last name of my favorite Danganronpa character) kinda sounds like "Pog" if you pronounce it a certain way and, hey, look, a funny pun.

My username comes from my favorite Video Game series Pokémon of which I am a big fan of, the "Pika" part being from Pikachu of course.

My username comes from the fairly-recent PewDiePie's Pixelings. My favorite Pixeling (and current avatar as of writing), Vlad, is a vampire fennec fox, and hails from Slumberland, where during the Story Mode, the sun never rises and everyone works to seemingly no end. Given they all must be pretty sleepy, and Vlad is a fox, well... you get the idea.

It used to be SleepyBat* before I eventually found out he was a fennec fox thanks to a livestream on the developer's YouTube channel. I'm pretty sure I thought he was a bat thanks to the fact that he sends out other bats as his attacks... although in hindsight that would be pretty weird. (Hey, at least now he can be an actual vampire bat with a skin he got in the 1.7.0 update.)

Before that, it was VladMaster due to my increased usage of Vlad in both PvE and Pv P modes, and before that, it was VladFanatic, mostly because when I first saw him I just said to myself "I want him. Now." Even before that, it was ATvarious, where various is anything related to the topic I'm making an account for. (An example for here: ATTroper) If I couldn't think of anything, I usually defaulted to Gamer.

And even before that, it was ATKThevarious, using the same naming convention as above. (Example: ATKTheTroper)

The earliest username I can remember is ultimatewarrior1, my very first Roblox account (and very first account in general, I think.) I think it was in 2012/2013? I had been playing as a Guest for a while, and I wanted an account. I'm guessing young me wanted something cool. I'm not sure where the 1 came from.

It wasn't too long before I eventually abandoned that account in favor of Aningar_Cyan**, based on an animated movie on YouTube called Vampire Skunk, which I found pretty cool when I found it (which I think was around mid-late 2016, maybe early 2017?) The username itself comes from the two main characters, Aningar Skunkillius III, and Cyan, commonly called "Blue Thing" by Aningar.

*I still have to change my Pixelings username from this to SleepyFox.

**I still use this account today, although I wish I could change the name without having to cough up money.

This username was originally going to be Lancashireuser 1 but I went with one from my county, Merseyside and made it a generic username, simply for privacy reasons.

My username came from when I was around 14 years old. The requirements of studying English literature required me to read and analyse the themes of Shakespears's Macbeth and Michael Morpurgo's War Horse.

At first, I feel underwhelming that I HAD to study all the workarounds behind these two books. But as time when on, I grew to love these books because my teacher was quite an entertainer. To put the cherry on top, my geography teacher was from Dundee, Scotland. Which, believe it or not, propelled me into an interest in Scottish culture in general. That's how I made my username: paying tribute to my best memories back when I was a student.

The FC part is a brilliant one. Remembered how I mentioned War Horse? One of the characters in this book was a German soldier named Friedrich. He's the one who briefly treated the protagonist with care before he was caught up in the explosion. I combined his name's first letter (F) with my RL name's first letter (C), thus creating the FC portion. The double part comes in my hobby as a sports lover. Since I grew up watching football with my brothers, FC can also mean Football Club. I kinda thought of that interpretation when I created the username.

So that's how I made my username. Pretty cool, huh?

When I was a kid, I really liked looking at maps, and I made an alternate persona that was named after them.

Last year I decided to sign up to this site, and I wanted my username to include the word "map" to commemorate those days, and Follow The Map is what I came up with.

I was playing Battle for Wesnoth and wound up having a female outlaw named "Cibryll" (or "Cibrylla", apparently). I took a liking to the "Cibryll" name.

It started as just Racter, as in the last two syllables for "character." Back in 6th grade, I had dreams of creating my own television network. Had a slogan — "Our cartoon stars put the 'racter' in 'character'!" — and a bunch of show ideas in a ratty notebook that I still have in a drawer somewhere. (No, you cannot see it.)

It became Racattack maybe a year later, because I wanted something that sounded cooler for an animation review blog I had back in middle school. I tacked on the "Force" maybe a year or so after that when I made a new account for the ToonZone forums (now Anime Superhero) after getting banned and the mods decided to just let me stay with the new account rather than open back up my old one.^note I ended up getting banned again a year later after making a South Park joke. I think they thought I was serious about killing network executives or something.

It's kinda stuck ever since out of habit. I even use the even longer "NowRacattackForce" on some sites, to keep it in line with my YouTube account — first one got closed due to too many copyright strikes in high school; too many network bumpers, I suppose. If it was possible, I'd make everything into Racattack or RacForce to finally standardize it all, but eh.

Back on the warrior cat's forums, my name was Jaywarriors. My friends there gave me a variety of nicknames, including Warjay, which stuck with me when making this account. The 77 is just random though.

Well…

The Holo part is a reference to previous special interest Red Dwarf, since my favourite character was a hologram in that show.

Meanwhile, the Mew 151 part is a reference to Mew and the original 151 Pokémon, which is another of my special interests.

Oddly enough, this site is the first time I’ve had where I’ve had much of an online presence but what little I did do, it was under a variation of Blue Mew 151 (since shiny Mews are Blue coloured).

Sorta just sounded very Internet Persona-like, so I just decided to use it. It was my main username throughout things like Fandoms and stuff even though I wasn't exactly that noteworthy. But the fact that "ThatAsianInTheCorner" was a fat fucking 20 or so characters long made it a chore to actually type out so many people would refer to me as "Asian"

However later on in my Internet Misadventures, someone in another forum made my long-as-balls username into the abbreviation, "TAITC", which I definitely prefer to be referred to as nowadays compared to my previous shortened name.

I figured the opposite of a biohazard would be biosafety. It's apparently a real term, but I didn't know that at the time.

I have no idea why I thought "the opposite of biohazard" was a good idea for a username.

i used to be really into danganronpa, especially K1-B0, he used to be called "Robonaegi", so i had the idea of making that my username on AO (An objection.lol like chatroom), one time someone called me "Chibi-Robo", and now i use that for everything for some reason

If you encrypt the alphabet as five-digit binary numbers, write each number backwards, and decode them back into letters, all the vowels and some of the better consonants end up next to each other so the sequence NOPQRSTUV becomes N(O)AQIYEUM. (O becomes 01111, but 11110 is larger than 26 so it doesn't correspond to another letter. N, Q, and U map to themselves because their numbers are symmetric.)

I think it's the most esoterically meaningless of any username I use, but I got the name "Noa" out of it.

I came up with mine back when I made a Super Mario Wiki account in middle school, and, not being the most creative person, came up with "bowserbros" as a spin on "Mario Bros." Somehow I stuck with it on most wikis that I'd joined, including this one, because I couldn't think of anything else.

Wasn't until college when I came up with a better username to go by; if this wiki allowed you to change your username, I would've done so in a heartbeat, both because "bowserbros" is kinda silly in hindsight and because I'm not exactly a guy.
