This might be because it's actually a cover... the original was by Paul Pena...note Though Steve Miller changed the arrangement a bit; the original is slower and kind of has a blues feel to it.

Deadmau5's work is pretty boring as far as EDM goes, but I do like the remix of "Ghosts 'n Stuff" with Rob Swire.
Just heard "Then It's Love". You can throw that one on the list of "Don Williams songs that I like even though I don't usually like Don Williams".
I honestly find Lorde to be a very meh artist, but I became quite fond of her cover of Everybody wants to rule the world. Sure, the original is better, but I liked her take on it.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."By virtue of my mom and brother constantly shoving them down my throat even when I'm not in the mood, I just cannot get into Paramore. Except for "Turn it Off". Iunno why, there's just something about it that gets to me in all the right places...

On my wave, passing oooooooonWhile I usually share The Dude's stance on The Eagles, I wouldn't change the station if Desperado came on. It has more emotion than the rest of their discography combined.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes. That's a helluva bump.
But anyway, Amberian Dawn's stuff mostly sounds way too same-y to me. Then I heard Cherish My Memory via a Plug.dj session and realized it sounded different enough that I could actually get down to it.
On my wave, passing oooooooonI'm in the 'generally can't stand Britney Spears but likes "Toxic"' camp.
The Presidents of the United States of America annoy me to no end but I really like "Little Blue Dune Buggy".
Thanks to Rumor, I can pretend Adele is black instead of British! :p

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Ironic, as that's the one song in their catalog that Thom Yorke himself despises.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. It's probably not that ironic when it's something of a Black Sheep Hit. I could see people who aren't into their usual sound liking that one.
Hate is too strong a word, but I usually find their serious stuff boring and their pop stuff twee. Not interested in going through the discography too much more.
I don't hate Limp Bizkit like a lot of people, but they're a band I've never felt like digging into. However, I do like a few songs by them, such as their cover of "Faith" by George Michael, "Stuck", "Nookie", and "Rollin'.
I don't really care for Arcade Fire but I think "Rococo" is alright.
Here's a list of other musicians that have one song I like:
Anal Cunt-You're a Cop
Porno For Pyros-Pets
Gin Blossoms-Found Out About You
Azealia Banks-212
I don't like Train, but I just heard "Save Me, San Francisco" and I think it's pretty nice.
I like to stay clear of anything involving one or both of the Gallagher brothers, but "Ballad of the Mighty I", one of Noel Gallagher's solo songs, is quite good.

Sing the song of sixpence that goes burn the witch, we know where you liveAgreed, it's a surprisingly good song from them.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I generally am not a huge fan of "mainstream" music, like, I dunno why but if I hear something on the radio, chances are I won't be listening to it much. There are exceptions, like Fall Out Boy, but generally I don't really pick up on popular music that much. This is mostly because a lot of popular genres (especially pop, dear god) are ones I dislike or hate.
I think this makes it particularly funny when I adore a song from a popular artist.
Good example of this is Lady Gaga; in general I hate her music, but Judas, oh my god, Judas is one of the best songs I've ever heard.

I'm not a big fan of Rascal Fats... er, Rascal Flatts, but I like almost everything on their first three albums except "I Melt" and "Feels Like Today", along with "Winner at a Losing Game", "Why", "Why Wait", "Easy", "Banjo", "Come Wake Me Up", and "Payback".
Also not big on Jason Aldean, but "Amarillo Sky", "The Truth", "Tattoos on This Town", and "Fly Over States" are great, and "Laughed Until We Cried" is amazing.
Can only think of two examples right now: Slipknot - Vermilion. Both parts for different reasons. Becoming The Archetype - March of the Dead
Bump, but I also wouldn't say hate (more mildly dislike), but Radiohead — Exit Music (For a Film)
I'm pretty sure Maroon 5 is the go-to example for people who say that modern rock "has lost its balls", but their song "Makes Me Wonder" is a really catchy, suave, funky number that I wish they had more of.
Nonsense is better than no sense at all.I can't stand AC/DC for the most part (Brian Johnson has one of the most annoying singing voices on the planet), but I like "You Shook Me All Night Long". I also remember liking "Stiff Upper Lip" when my dad played it for me.
Maroon 5's Adam Levine also has an insanely annoying voice, but I like "She Will Be Loved".
Going back to my home base of country... I generally can't stand Dan + Shay, but "How Not To" is exceptional.
Not generally a fan of Christina Aguilera, though she has a few that are Guilty Pleasure songs for me. However, "Fighter" is just a pleasure for me...
Maybe it's due to having Dave Navarro playing guitar on it. Though the empowerment thing helps (one of her few songs I've heard that's not a love ballad or an Intercourse with You kinda song)...
