• Adorkable: Maya is the team's tech expert who wants to be taken seriously by her colleagues, especially her boss Ava. Going from a timid harmless girl to an empowered badass girlboss is the probably most fascinanting growth as a character.
• Base-Breaking Character:
  • While audiences love Maya's Adorkable moments and yearning to earn for once the approval of her teammates, some found her childish and annoying when she constantly roasts Ava for her obvious attraction to McKnight, even having the gall to accuse Ava of betraying her. Even Ava herself was sick of this behavior while on the mission and just told Maya to let it go.
  • Paul is either a well-meaning person who is concerned for his daughter's safety, or just a nuisance to the team's efforts in locating the nuke due to his constant reckless actions that endanger the mission when it comes to bemoaning about it.
• Complete Monster: Wade Maddox is a PMC owner infamous for serving clients with despotic tendencies. Eager to obtain Ivan Koslov's 5 kiloton nuclear weapon, Maddox kidnaps Koslov's courier Vladislav Litvin, and through his henchman Ehren, tortures Litvin by mutilating his one good ear before leaving him to die in a freezer alongside Koslov's associates, then having Trunk tortured with a blade to his genitals as well. Not content with the prospect of just nuking Las Vegas and killing millions, Maddox intends to cause a Civil War in the United States by inflaming tensions across the political aisles in wake of the city's obliteration, so he may reconstruct the devastated country as he sees fit.
• Cry for the Devil: Despite her sadistic plot, you can't help but feel sorry for Anastasia after her brother Ivan dies especially if you recount they genuinely cared for each other, and he was the last family she ever had in this world after the deaths of their parents.
• Draco in Leather Pants: Lana/Anastasia Koslov gained defenders of her own who forgo her evil scheme and love her Brainless Beauty façcade. They even sympathise with the loss of her parents and close relationship with her brother Ivan.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Hagerty has become a fan-favorite character thanks to his hedonistic personality as the Cool Old Guy of the team, even though he's for most of the mission passed out due to his hangover from the party, which makes him a comic relief at best.
• Iron Woobie: Ava, she was romantically involved with an MI6 agent who was killed during a mission gone wrong, so this is why most of the time she displays a tough and icy demeanor to her teammates.
• Love to Hate: Ivan Koslov is a piece of shit who plans to blow up Las Vegas with a bomb, but that doesn't stop him from being rooted for by viewers for his hamminess and over-the-top Faux Affably Evil tendencies.
• Rooting for the Empire: There are plently of detractors of the show that grow expasperated with the team's constant fights and stupid decisions during the mission that they prefer to take the bad guys more seriously and wanting them to detonate the nuke.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Maya gets hit with this for her poor treatment of Ava after she caught her and McKnight half-naked (before they could even get to an orgasm) and kept on accusing Ava of "betraying" her, even though he is way too old for her. In Ava's defense, she was drunk when having sex with McKnight, just as she severely points out to Maya, who keeps bringing up the subject when they are on a mission trying to find the bomb and save millions of innocent people. So, this makes Maya's behavior to Ava come off as petty and whimsical.
• The Woobie: Maya is youngest member of the team who wants to prove herself and be seen as more than just "the TechGirl" after the past six months since she joined in. She meets someone whom she thinks understands what she's been through only to find out she works for their greatest enemy and wanted to kill her. So her pain is very relatable to anyone who has been in a similar situation.
