Marvel Meow is an Infinity Comics webcomic from Marvel Comics, an all ages series centred around the cats owned by well-known Marvel heroes. The series is written and illustrated by Nao Fuji.

The series follows in the footsteps of the Marvel Meow graphic novel published in 2021 by Marvel Comics and Viz Media, also written and illustrated by Fuji. The graphic novel was itself a sequel to Fuji's original Marvel Meow short comics, which were published to Marvel's Instagram in 2019.

Initially starring Captain Marvel's cat Chewie, the Black Widow's cat Liho and the Winter Soldier's cat Alpine, the Infinity Comic later expands its cast to include other cats and superhero pets.

Relatively light on dialogue, the short stories mix the misadventures of unsupervised cats with the chaos they cause when superheroes are actually looking after them.

Guest stars include the super-intelligent cat Doctor Shapiro (from Iron Man), Jeff the Land Shark, and various Marvel dogs.

As with Marvel's other Infinity Comic webcomics, it's a single-column vertically scrolling comic that's designed to be readable on a phone screen, rather than using a traditional comic book approach to panels and pages.

Additionally, like the other Infinity Comics, the series is (at least initially) only available via the Marvel Unlimited app.

The first issue was released March 4 2022.

Marvel Meow provides examples of:

  • Animorphism: The heroes somehow never realize the cat wearing a horned crown is really a bored Loki who decided he wanted in on the fun.
  • The Bus Came Back: Sabretooth's inner cat appeared in the Mental World sequences of Sabretooth (2022). When he reappears in Marvel Meow #16 (August 2023) it's subtly hinted, but never confirmed, that he's treated as an Imaginary Friend.
  • Expressive Ears: Pretty much all of the cats have these.
  • Infinite Canvas: As with Marvel's other Infinity Comics, it uses the vertical scrolling variant. Each issue is a single column, formatted to be easily read on phones and tablets.
  • Laser Sight: Cyclops uses his eyebeams on the absolute lowest power to give the cats a red dot to chase.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: When Spider-Man's looking after Liho, Chewie and Alpine, their attempt to help out leaves all four trapped in his webbing. The Black Cat, who they were chasing at the time, is amused.
  • Road Apples: Issue #15 shows Sandman trying to spy on the Avengers, taking the form of a heap of sand. Unfortunately, one of the cats present is hogging the litter box, and then Chewie sees a nice big pile of clean sand... Sandman freaks out and flees just in time.
  • Shout-Out Theme Naming: Black Cat's cats are named Lupin, Raffles, Simon, and Irene.
  • Symbol Swearing: Occasionally used to show human reactions to the cats causing chaos.
  • Wardrobe Wound: The X-Men villain Mister Sinister is very proud of his tasselled cape and does not react well when it's torn from his shoulders and used as a cat toy.
