Rhythm Star (“리듬스타” in Korean) is a rhythm game made by ANB Games, a South Korean game company.
The gameplay consists of touching falling notes perfectly.

- Aerith and Bob: Some characters have names like Rhythmy, Nana, Didi and Ppwarou while others have exotic but still recognizable real-person names like Beethoven, Clara, Liszt, etc. that are taken from Classic era composers.
- Allegedly Free Game: Diamonds and special items (Matta’s Lamp, etc.) can be obtained from using real money.
- Blackface-Style Caricature: Boogie was one until he was redesigned for the international release.

- Puccini is a samurai and Puccini Planet is Japanese-inspired, despite the real-life Puccini being Italian.

- George Sand is a fox spirit, which are from East Asian mythology. However, she is based on a real-life French woman.

- "I Know You Are in There Somewhere" Fight: Final stages in every planet allow players to defeat allies who got Brainwashed and Crazy by cute but nasty creatures called Dusts and snap them out of it.
- Ms. Fanservice: There are a few characters like the Giro sisters, who has sexy appearances.
- Only Six Faces: All human (or humanoid) characters can only be differentiated by attire, eye color and hairstyle.
- Series Mascot: Rhythmy, the quaver note alien clone created by Dr. R, is in this trope.
- Super-Deformed: All characters have adorable chibi designs.
