- Actor Allusion: Guy and his new boyfriend Rick (played by Michael Dorn) visit the New York Comic-Con dressed up as The Tick and a Klingon respectively.
- Missing Trailer Scene: There's a part in the trailer where Ted, John, and Sam are being pursued by some villains in a car, only for the villains to get plowed by a truck, causing their car to explode, yet it's nowhere in the film. It does appear in the unrated version.
