Tear Jerker / Ted 2

• The simple, heartbreaking fact that Jon and Lori ended up getting divorced, after everything they went through in the first movie.
• Tami-Lynn finding out she's infertile due to a history of drug and alcohol abuse. It's this drug abuse that puts her parenting skills to question.
• Ted's reaction to hearing he is not considered a person in the eyes of the state, but a piece of property. Afterwards, he loses his job, his bank account is terminated, his credit card is cut and worst of all, his marriage with Tami-Lynn is null and void.
• In one particular scene from the court room, the prosecutor brings in a retired Hasbro employee who supervised the stuffing of Teddy Bears similar to Ted to prove Ted doesn't have an internal soul in spite of being a living toy. The employee brings up the voice box with recorded phrases in the stuffed bears and the prosecutor asks Ted to press his chest. Ted does so and the recorded child's voice saying "I love you!" is heard throughout the court room.
• When John appears to die, devastating Ted and Sam. Ted is saying his goodbye, until John springs up awake since he was playing a gag on Ted as payback for making John think he was mentally retarded after he got fixed in the last movie.
